I thought it was just a regular pub, but they had quite a variety of creative dishes which made it enjoyable! It's about an 8-minute walk from Umeda. - Takoyaki: They have over 10 different flavors! Besides the classic mayo and dashi soy sauce, they also have options like grated yam vegetables, salt lemon, mapo tofu, and taco rice. Visited on a holiday night. It was a bit intimidating to enter as there were no guests inside the restaurant, but I gathered my courage and went in. It seems to be an izakaya run by Fuji Foods. Looking at the menu, they offer noodles, set meals, and side dishes. The prices vary from cheap to not so cheap. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was not lively, but the set meals looked affordable and delicious, so I decided to try the "Maido Ookini Shokudo." It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Visited around 1:20 PM. The restaurant has four 8-seater tables and four 4-seater tables. They also offer takeout with limited quantities available. There were no customers when I arrived, and only one group came in after me. They offer about 8 different set meals, but many were already sold out due to the time. I ordered the horse mackerel fry set meal for 770 yen, which came with kimpira gobo, cold tofu, and miso soup. According to the food review website, you can get a refill of pickles, but they were not even offered. They mentioned that you can get a rice refill, but when I tried to order one, they told me they were running low. It took about 5 minutes for the food to be served. The set meal came with two large pieces of horse mackerel fry. The taste was average. This restaurant is operated by one of the top chains in Osaka, with a concept of catering to the masses. Perhaps that's why the service was the way it was. I believe that being approachable and losing manners are two different things. I won't go into specific examples, but there were a few instances that left a bad impression. Maybe they intentionally maintain this style, so I will keep this in mind until the restaurant changes.

I felt like having a set meal, so I stopped by here. I had the set meal with salted salmon and fried chicken. The salmon was thick and delicious, and just that alone was enough to fill me up. It was a nice bonus that I could earn Rakuten points. Thank you for the meal.

I wonder if this chain of restaurants is part of the Fujio group. It has a Showa-era, easy-to-enter, casual pub style. The portions for snacks are small, but the meal options are hearty, making it convenient for both individuals and groups. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, making it fun to explore by looking at the menu on the wall. The taste of the dishes is not outstanding, but it is at a level where you can feel comfortable with the price. They are open from lunchtime, so it is easy to use for both meals and drinks. I would like to try the omurice next time (laughs).

On October 23rd, for lunch, I went to "Taishu Sakaba Nakatsu Shokudo". It was a new and clean restaurant. Since there were no reviews yet, I will be the first to share my experience! The interior of the restaurant is quite spacious. It has a setting similar to an izakaya rather than a place where various side dishes are displayed. You order everything individually, making it a great place for a reasonable and enjoyable izakaya experience in the evening! - Handmade mackerel fry set meal for 770 yen (tax included) Each set meal comes with rice, miso soup, and two small side dishes. Additionally, you can have unlimited rice and pickles! The food was served in 3-4 minutes! - Mackerel fry: The set came with two large mackerel fries, which seemed to be handmade. They were delicious, especially with Worcestershire sauce and tartar sauce. The tartar sauce was also tasty, although the portion was small. Towards the end, it felt a bit greasy, but eating it with shredded cabbage dressed with dressing helped balance it out. - Two small side dishes: Cold tofu and sautéed burdock root. Both were delicious. - Rice: I didn't ask for a refill, but the portion might be a bit small for men and just right for women. It was also tasty. - Miso soup: It had daikon radish, wakame seaweed, and tofu, and was quite delicious. - Pickles: You have to get them yourself from the self-service corner. Considering the portion size, quality, and the location in Nakatsu, I think 770 yen is quite a good value for money! Thank you for the meal!
