For lunch, I went to FREMONT CURRY&DELI. I was greeted in Japanese with an Indian accent when I passed by the front of the store before, "Welcome, there is a seat available in the back." I decided to stop by when I had the chance, and today was that chance. I entered the store, was seated at an available table, and looked at the menu. Sets are 900 yen for one curry, 1,000 yen for two curries, 900 yen for the ladies' set, and 1,500 yen for the Dal Bhat set. You can choose from today's curry, butter chicken, chicken, mutton, chicken keema, various vegetables, four types of beans, spinach paneer, spinach chicken, spinach mutton, seafood, and green curry. The spiciness level ranges from mild to very spicy, and you can choose from drinks like lassi, chai, and coffee. The interior of the store only has table seating, with three tables that can seat six people and three tables that can seat four people. There were six customers before me, four after me, and a few takeout customers outside. Shortly after, the curry set for 900 yen arrived, with today's curry being eggplant chicken curry, spiced as medium, and lassi as the drink. The tray came with a large piece of naan, curry, salad, dessert, and the drink. The naan was hot to tear with hands at first, but it cooled down quickly. Today, I dipped the naan into the curry instead of topping it. The medium-spiced curry had a delightful blend of various spices. The salad dressing was slightly strong, complementing the curry well. After finishing the meal, dessert was served. It was a small portion but made a big difference. I enjoyed it and it was a delicious meal.
