I heard that there is a standing sake bar in Sakaisuji Hommachi that offers 150 types of sake, not just a wide variety, but a place where you can find many of your favorite brands. Is it a sake bar where you can stop by for sake or a stylish bar? When you get off the elevator on the 5th floor of the building, you will find an open space with a beautiful view of Tosabori River, creating a nice atmosphere. When you hear that it is a sake specialty store, you can imagine the type of customers, but here it is surprising to see young female customers filling up the place. I was surprised by the popularity. I received recommendations on sake that goes well with the food and my favorite sake from the knowledgeable female manager, and enjoyed dishes such as assorted appetizers, hotate butter soy, warm dashi tofu, grilled stingray fin, and grilled mackerel sushi with sake including Toyo Bijin limited edition Junmai Daiginjo, Shura Junmai Ginjo, Akabu Junmai sake NEWBORN, Mimuro Sugi Yumachi Junmai Ginjo grazie a Dio, Hanayoka Junmai Daiginjo, Nabeshima New Moon freshly squeezed Junmai Ginjo, and Kikuhime Yamahai Junmai unfiltered raw sake. Sake selection is a must-have pleasure, so it's nice to enjoy sake while considering what kind of sake to try next by looking at the labels in the refrigerator. I was surprised to see a large refrigerator with 150 types of sake. What surprised me when I came to this store was the lineup of rare sake. When I asked if there were any other recommendations besides the menu, I was immediately recommended the Wind Forest ALPHA6 6 in honor of the 6th generation. The power of the 6th generation yeast from Shinsei Sake Brewery's Yusuke Sato is incredible. While I thought that Akitsuhonoka lacked the umami of local Nara rice, the strength of the 6th generation yeast from Shinsei was impressive, with a beautiful bitterness and a fresh snap, as well as the strength of the rice. It was amazing to understand how difficult it is to obtain such a rare sake in an instant. I also tasted the NEWBORN from Akabu among the easily obtainable sake, and the level was surprisingly high for a pure rice sake. The store recommends based not only on deliciousness but also on the point of view of sake lovers, making it a valuable learning experience. There are often surprises at the checkout when drinking rare sake, but it's reassuring to enjoy 5 dishes and 8 sake for 10,000 yen in a good atmosphere. I love sake, so I want to choose it myself, but the characteristics of the recommended brands were perfectly in line with the perspective of sake lovers, so it was a happy experience to drink various sake at a store with such knowledgeable staff. I liked it, so I will definitely visit again!! Looking forward to the next visit. I'm doing Instagram @ginjirou.star.
