I visited the café "Caffe Luca Doshima Avanza" on the first floor of Doshima Avanza in Kitashinchi for the first time. They have a counter with 5 seats and 9 two-person tables. I stopped by to pass the time before my appointment. [Ordered Items] - Iced Coffee (small): 290 yen The coffee was delicious and the café is a great place to relax and unwind.

Visit date and time: 13:36 on a weekday Waiting time: None Menu: Iced coffee Note: I visited because I had some time before a meeting. It was past 1 pm, but many cafes continue to serve lunch at this time, so it was nice to be able to relax at this hour. Thank you for the meal.

Before the meal today, I went to an Italian coffee shop that was established in 1995 and has a branch in Kitahama as well. The coffee has a bitter taste, which I personally like. However, it was a bit disappointing that the staff at the Avanza location in Dojima seemed unmotivated and there was no WiFi available.

There are several chain coffee shops in the basement of Dojima Avanza, and they were all full on this day, so I was about to give up when I found this shop with available seats and decided to give it a try. It might be a hidden gem after all. It was hot, so I was surprised to see a variety of Italian sodas on the menu and ordered the Orange Berry in size small for 360 yen including tax. It would have been even better if there were seats with outlets, but I spent some time here until my next appointment. By the way, all seats are non-smoking.

Cafe located in Dohjima Avanza in Kitashinchi. I used it before a meeting in the same building. Inside, it has a slightly classic feel. The service was not great from the new cashier, but the experienced staff member who was guiding them was friendly. This time, I ordered a set of Fromage and Ice Cafe Latte M for 760 yen. The Fromage was soft and delicious, and the Ice Cafe Latte was also tasty, made from freshly ground beans.

Non-smoking seats are limited to only 6 counter seats. However, the counter is uncomfortable. The chairs and counter are positioned high, leaving your legs dangling. This café is located on the west end of Kitashinchi, on the 1st floor of Doshima Avanza. There is a large bookstore, Junkudo, on the upper floor. It was my first visit, and I was shocked to discover that almost the entire interior is designated as smoking area. Only the uncomfortable counter seats are non-smoking. Why? This is unacceptable nowadays. The counter seats are poorly designed in terms of ergonomics, making it the worst. I ordered an iced coffee (S) for ¥260 and tried to read my book, but the unbalanced table and chair forced me to leave after about 10 minutes. Perhaps this is a strategy to prevent customers from staying too long. If you're curious, I recommend experiencing my discomfort at these counter seats. All comfortable table seats are designated as smoking area. It seems like this is a smoker's paradise. Such establishments are often owned by smokers, and I assume this one is no different. Disappointing!

This area seems to be lacking in coffee shops, as it is more of a drinking district. This cafe is located inside a building called Dojima Avanza. The interior is narrow and many people seem to use it to pass the time. Smoking is allowed. I ordered a grapefruit juice, which is full of 100% vitamin C. If you just want to take a coffee break, feel like smoking, or need to kill some time, this is the place to go. The prices are reasonable, so you can relax and enjoy your time here.

After getting a little tipsy, I sent a message to a girl I was interested in thinking, "She's cute." It showed as "read" but she never replied. Probably just a communication error. I won't sue LINE over it, but I did mention the "read and ignore" trend at work. Turns out it's just my own little trend. My recent trend is reading, so I'm studying at the bookstore. Took a break at Café Luca in Avanza, sipping on a cheap yet delicious iced coffee. Coffee is so affordable and tasty these days. It's nice to relax at a café on a hot day. Now I'm off to make some meeting materials and then out for drinks tonight. Why? Because it's a summer night! Let the fun begin. Hopefully, a wonderful encounter awaits tonight. Cheers!

Today, I went on a business trip to Dojima. After finishing my work, I decided to go to Junkudo. However, the cafe at Junkudo seemed difficult to enter, so I decided to have a break at this place on the 1st floor of the building. The menu was similar to chain cafe menus. They didn't have hot food, but they had some pre-made sandwiches and snacks. The system was to order and pay at the counter, then pick up your order at the pick-up counter. There was only one staff member. The majority of the seating was for smoking, with only a few non-smoking seats at the counter. All the table seats were for smoking. It seemed like the main purpose of this place was as a smoking area. I ordered the Peach Milk M for a refreshing cold drink. The taste was like a Nectar from Fujiko. Overall, I can only recommend this place as a smoking area. Visit date: December 13, 2013

Located on the first floor of Dojima Avanza. I came across this self-service store that I haven't heard much about, but I was drawn in by the heat and decided to try their frozen treats. I chose the Cassis Orange flavor from a selection that included mango and strawberry, priced at 360 yen. The portion size was quite generous for the price. I sat at the back of the narrow store, where the white walls formed arches and were decorated with wall art and pendant lights, giving the self-service store a stylish feel. The chairs were covered with white fabric, adding to the ambiance. Now, let's try the frozen treat. It was sweet and rich in flavor, with a large portion size. Despite the hot weather, I found myself feeling chilled after eating just half of it (laughs). I couldn't finish it all, but the frozen treat was a great way to cool down instantly on a hot day. I highly recommend trying their frozen treats for a quick cool down.

Located at the entrance of Avanza in Doshima, just west of Kitashinchi. Due to its location, it is a place where you can relax before the evening when the older sisters are about to start work, a scene where you can get ready for a date, or a meeting spot for companions. There are various types of people and interactions to observe here. One surprising thing when you enter is that it is smaller than you might think. The walls are mirrored, creating an illusion of spaciousness. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed (but it can't be helped since you can't smoke inside afterwards) and the walls have a yellowish tint. The chairs are designed with women in mind, being soft and some with low backrests, making it comfortable even for those wearing traditional Japanese clothing with an obi. The regular coffee is decent, and they also offer a variety of iced drinks and light snacks like bread. It's a recommended spot to spend some free time. Plus, it's cheap! A medium-sized coffee for 200 yen is comparable to Doutor Coffee prices. And yet, each person has plenty of space.

Summer is characterized by frequent evening showers, and recently we've been experiencing heavy rain. I sought shelter from the rain at Avanza and decided to take a break in a café. This café is self-service, with a counter at the entrance and tables in the back area. There is no wall separating the back area from the aisle leading to the bookstore, creating a sense of openness. The interior is dimly lit, with mirrored walls opposite the aisle, creating the illusion of a larger space. I ordered an iced coffee for 200 yen, which was reasonably priced and tasted normal. However, the chairs were covered with white fabric but lacked cushions, making them slightly uncomfortable. Despite this, the rain stopped while I was there, which was a relief. (Lunch) Solo: 200 yen (Lunch) Overall rating 2.0, Food 2.0, Service 2.0, Atmosphere 2.0.

On July 8th (Friday), I went to Cattlerapan~ I'm so happy (@゚▽゚@) I had some time so I went to this place inside Dojima Avanza. It's self-service here. I had the banana juice which was just the right amount of sweetness and very easy to drink. I forgot the price but it wasn't too expensive. It's non-smoking here which is great, but if the person next to you smokes, that's a downside. I could tolerate it for a short time. I probably won't come to this shop again, but it might be good for reading books or something.

At CaffeLuca in Doshima Avanza, Osaka, we had a relaxing day enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The cafe had a narrow but well-designed space, where people read books or waited for friends. The latte we ordered was served with a unique pattern on top, different from the usual heart or smiley face. The cafe was a nice break from the upscale restaurants and cafes on the B1 floor of the building. After spending some time there, we decided to head out for our next destination.

When it's hot or cold outside, it can limit your options for going out. In our household, one option is to enjoy a delicious lunch and read books at Junkudo. Junkudo has a great selection of books and you can sit down and read, which is really convenient. It's interesting how when you're sitting and reading, you often feel the need to buy the book you're reading. It's a smart business move. After walking and reading, it's time to take a break at a café. There are several cafés in the Dojima Avanza, but I think this one is the best. Even though the drinks and food might not be significantly cheaper compared to other coffee shops, the padded chairs at the counter are very comfortable. This café is the most frequently visited by our family.

After having lunch in Kitashinchi, I wanted to have some tea so I decided to stop by Caffe Luca in Daimaru Avanza. There were a couple of tea options on the first floor, but I chose Caffe Luca based on the atmosphere and how busy it was. I ordered a Chocolatier (300 yen), which was decently rich and just right. The seating was comfortable and not too close to others. I spent about 2 hours chatting with my friend over a cup of Chocolatier. It's a place where you can relax and stay for a while without feeling rushed.

I tried the Curry Mayo Chicken Sandwich at CaffeLuca in Dojima Avanza, a coffee shop I have visited several times. Despite not having the word "bagel" in its name, it is indeed a proper bagel sandwich. The shop doesn't emphasize the word "bagel" in its menu items like Bagel Burger, Bagel Lunch, or Bagel Plate, which I find cool. The multigrain bagel used in this sandwich is hard and substantial, paired with healthy ingredients like chicken breast, okra, and lettuce, making it a great match with the curry flavor. Although the shop offers house-roasted coffee, they don't explicitly mention it, which adds to its understated charm. The coffee, espresso, and cafe latte are all delicious. However, the shop's narrow space on the 1st floor of an office building means it lacks a calm atmosphere due to the constant flow of passersby. I plan to try a different bagel sandwich at their Kitahama branch next time, as it is located in a more peaceful setting.

I used it before the meeting at Dojima Avanza. It is a Seattle-style coffee shop on the first floor of an office building. The coffee is 260 yen, and I also got a little hungry, so I had a hot dog and some bread from the counter. The hot dog is made by putting the one wrapped in aluminum foil in a toaster. It is then served with chili sauce on top. There was a sign on the microwave saying "Started warming the bread," so the bread from the counter was warmed up in the microwave. The employee was doing everything alone, and they seemed quiet, not saying a word. It might be better if they were a bit more cheerful. Also, although it may be due to the open kitchen layout, it felt a bit odd to see business notes stuck all over the Hoshizaki refrigerator behind the counter. It was a bit disappointing for a place that is said to be a Seattle-style cafe.
