On the second day of my trip to Hokkaido, I visited the same restaurant again, this time with a friend who loves beer and was trying Genghis Khan for the first time! I hoped that the previous experience was not just a fluke. Last time, I was able to enter smoothly with a reservation made 30 minutes in advance, so I was a bit careless this time. However, it was a holiday this time, and as expected, when I called, it was already too late, so I wasted about an hour before heading there. When I arrived about 30 minutes early, I browsed through some souvenirs. Although I was clearly told on the phone that I couldn't enter before the reservation time, I had a feeling that I might be able to get in somehow. I tried asking at the reception, and luckily they said they could accommodate us. I made a reservation and first went to the building with the reception. You need to tell them your reservation number and then you will receive a card to take to the hall where you made the reservation. Make sure not to make any mistakes. First, go to the reception building. Then, I sat down and, just like last time, ordered all-you-can-drink beer with à la carte dishes. Most likely, unless you are a pair of sports girls who eat a lot, it's better to go with à la carte. Last time, I ate without thinking and don't remember the total bill, but this time, I chose the standard all-you-can-drink. If you want to try various parts of lamb with all-you-can-eat, you have to choose the lamb all-you-can-eat, but women definitely can't eat enough to make it worth the price. Sorry for being stingy... My friends and even men often say that I eat a lot, but I couldn't handle the all-you-can-eat because I ate properly for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day while traveling (I only had a seafood bowl 4 hours before this day, but the leftovers from the previous night were still in my stomach, making me feel bloated...). So, we decided to order whatever we liked without worrying about the price! We ate and drank without worrying about the cost, and the total bill for two people was just over 10,000 yen. We were completely satisfied! Personally, I love the normal Genghis Khan and lamb loin because they are juicy and delicious! The traditional one lacks a bit of juiciness but is thin and light, making it easy to eat. And the long-awaited beer, I tried all of them except the black beer in order. Hmm, maybe I like the black label the best (back to the classic, haha) and I drank a lot of CLASSIC. The atmosphere is also great, with the iron pot shaped like Hokkaido being very cute. It gets crowded during meal times on holidays, so reservations are a must!
