I was attracted by the variety of breakfast options and the various local dishes of Fukuoka, so I booked this hotel seriously. Fukuoka is so rich in variety, I wonder if they like yuzu pepper? The spicy udon with fish ball soup was unexpectedly spicy, and the chicken rice was delicious! The chewy salad was a bit weak, but the tempura udon was great! The freshly made tofu was a pleasant surprise. I thought it was Korean cuisine, but it seems to be a signature dish from a shop in Tokyo's Jujo? The hot spring egg and Spanish mackerel dish turned into broccoli and mushrooms on the third day. The Western-style dishes were below Fukuoka's cuisine. The bright room with fast Wi-Fi was very convenient every day, and getting mineral water was also nice. The coin laundry was separate for men and women, and the women's bath had nano care! The amenities in the room were a bit lacking though...

This is a restaurant on the first floor of Hotel Hakata Club Hakata. It's about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station. There is a nice public bath on the basement floor. The restaurant has many staff members, all of whom are polite. They greet you at the entrance and provide a brief explanation. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 10 am. There are plenty of local specialties, such as spicy cod roe, vinegar tripe, and dashimaki tamago with cod roe. They also have mapo tofu and a variety of rice options. In addition to local dishes, there are omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and other classic items. The spicy cod roe was delicious, so I had seconds. They also offer curry and champon noodles. Even though it's breakfast, there were desserts like mini cakes. They also had yogurt, apples, oranges, and other fruits. I love fruits, so I was happy to see them. They even provided plastic coffee cups in the room, so I took some apple tea back with me as I had coffee in the restaurant.

On the 5th day, the amount (even now) has noticeably decreased.

On the fourth day, it's normal to get tired of the same menu, but I didn't get tired of it.

On the third day, the weather was bad, so I decided to try the orange soup. I also tried the corn soup.

On the second day, there was a local pudding fair, and Fukuoka had strawberry pudding, but it was lukewarm. I tried the udon with burdock tempura and curry with meatballs, both were mild. Today, the mentaiko in the rolled omelet was scarce. I also tried the Western-style dishes.

The breakfast at Hokkaido Club is delicious everywhere!

I stayed in Hakata. There are many hotels in Hakata, but if you want a fulfilling breakfast, I highly recommend Hoka Hotel. I have stayed there many times, but this is my first review. The breakfast buffet at Hoka is a special treat. They serve dishes made with Hakata ingredients. Some of the dishes include: spicy cod roe, Hakata-style rolled omelette with cod roe, steamed egg custard with cod roe tea, pickles, simmered dishes, Mizutaki (chicken hot pot), tofu, simmered beans, Hakata tempura udon, charcoal-infused black curry, Hakata's best chicken rice, grilled salted salmon, salted mackerel, homemade cold tofu, sausages, yogurt, and fruits. Every dish is delicious. I always end up eating too much because everything is so good. I leave completely satisfied with a full stomach. Finally, I relax with a cup of coffee. Oh, and you can take the coffee in a paper cup to your room. This is a rare service that not many places offer. The restaurant here really goes the extra mile. If you want a delicious and hearty breakfast in Hakata, you must visit Hoka.

This is a review of the breakfast at the Hokke Club Hotel in Fukuoka. Hokke Club Hotels are located nationwide, known for their communal baths. I had mistakenly booked a plan without breakfast, but paid 972 yen to enjoy the breakfast. The meal included a variety of Fukuoka and Kyushu dishes, even though I arrived an hour before the breakfast ended. All dishes were constantly replenished, allowing me to eat to my heart's content. Personally, I really enjoyed the sweet and delicious Kagoshima pork miso, which I kept eating with cucumbers.

Today, I had breakfast at Restaurant Lotus in Sumiyoshi, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City during my Fukuoka expedition. I stayed at Hotel Hokke Club Fukuoka, and since the LAN cable they provided was too short, I brought my own and extended it by the bedside lol. Here are some pictures of the room and breakfast. The breakfast was full of Hakata specialties and it was all-you-can-eat, probably around 1000 yen. It was delicious as always.

I stayed at Hotel Hakka Club Fukuoka and had breakfast at the buffet. There were more options for Japanese food, but I prefer Western food so I had bread, scrambled eggs, ham, and sausage. I also tried the simmered dish because it looked good. The taste was okay. The coffee was average. Most of the other guests were eating Japanese food. Maybe Japanese food would have been better... The staff were efficient and their service was pleasant to watch.

Hotel Hokke Club Fukuoka has a restaurant on the 1st floor. The image of Hokke Club is usually old, dark, and cramped business hotel, but this restaurant is bright and open from the front. I used it twice for breakfast. The restaurant on the 1st floor is about the size of a small family restaurant. The colorful chairs and tables create a bright and clean atmosphere. There are no counter seats. You hand your breakfast ticket to the staff and pick up a tray. The breakfast buffet on this day included 5 types of bread (with a toaster), sandwiches, salad, pickles, tofu, croquettes, grilled fish, cabbage rolls, sausages, mentaiko (spicy pollock roe), pickled vegetables, omelets, seaweed, natto (fermented soybeans), boiled eggs, rice, multigrain rice, porridge, miso soup, corn soup, 3 types of fruits, etc. For drinks, they had hot coffee, tea, orange juice, tomato juice, milk, tea, water, etc. The buffet menu was surprisingly extensive for a business hotel. The food was quite delicious as well. I didn't try it, but my partner said the sandwich and corn soup they chose were also delicious. Personally, I really enjoyed the pork miso soup and had seconds. Although I didn't use it, the lunch buffet seemed popular and busy. In terms of taste, I think it exceeded the usual breakfast level at a business hotel. The atmosphere was great with a bright and clean interior and spacious seating.

Today's menu included white fish with mentaiko sauce, spring rolls, hijiki simmered dish, plenty of broccoli, curry rice, stir-fried pork, pasta, noodles, and more. For dessert, there were mini cakes, pudding, bananas, and even red bean soup! Everyone seemed to enjoy the dessert. The buffet at this business hotel is affordable, with a limited selection compared to higher-end hotel buffets. The compatibility of the menu is crucial, and today's menu suited me well. I will definitely use this buffet again.

The other day, I went to the lunch buffet at Lotus in Hotel Hokke Club Fukuoka, thanks to a coupon in a lifestyle magazine. I had always wanted to visit the Lotus in Sapporo near the station, but never got around to it. In the bottom right picture, I poured curry over mixed rice. The curry had lots of ingredients, so I couldn't help but pile it on (ノ∀`). I figured since it was a buffet, I might as well load up on the more expensive items like mixed rice and curry to go with my regular rice. I'm a bit of a cheapskate HAHAHA. However, the amount of mixed rice and the toppings for the Neapolitan pasta were a bit lacking. The soba dipping sauce was light in color but had a strong flavor. The last order was at 1:30 PM and the buffet ended at 2 PM, so when I arrived around 1 PM or during the last order, the staff kindly reminded me. They even had something like this prepared. It reminded me of the excitement I felt as a child when looking at the school lunch menu (´；ω；｀). It's a bit disappointing that they only operate on weekdays, but it's a cost-effective restaurant that I would like to visit again if I have the chance.
