This restaurant serves lunch from 11:30 am (¥1000)◆Mapo Tofu Set◆Shrimp Chili Set◆Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork Set The first floor has a counter with 6 seats, and there is also a second floor. "I'll have the sweet and sour pork, please." The two staff members are Chinese and it takes 6 minutes until the dish is ready. The background music is Chinese-style music inspired by the Three Kingdoms, along with the two staff members chatting. "Let's eat." The dish comes with 10 pieces of pork with a strong black vinegar flavor, half-raw onions, cooked carrots, and green peppers. The portion is quite generous and I couldn't finish it all. I had a refill of cold jasmine tea and left the restaurant feeling full. "Thank you for the meal."

This is a Chinese restaurant located inside "Funamachi Awajimachi Okami Komachi", just a little east of Sakaisuji Honmachi Station and Kitahama Station, on Sakaisuji Street. They offer three lunch options for 1000 yen each: mapo tofu, shrimp chili, and black vinegar sweet and sour pork. I tried the mapo tofu, which came with boiled chicken topped with green onions, zasai (pickled mustard greens), soup, and rice. The restaurant has a clean and beautiful interior, and serves delicious Chinese cuisine.

Recently, I tried a Chinese restaurant located on the ground floor of the Komachi Building, a little off the beaten path. For lunch, they offer a choice of three popular dishes: shrimp chili, mapo tofu, and black vinegar sweet and sour pork. I decided to go with the black vinegar sweet and sour pork lunch without hesitation. The portion sizes for all the lunches are great. The sweet and sour pork had a nice tangy flavor with plenty of meat chunks. The side vegetables like onions were also fresh and plentiful. You can have unlimited refills of rice. It's a really satisfying Chinese restaurant. I might try the mapo tofu next time.

It is a small shop with a total of 6 seats on the first floor of "Okonomi no Honkaku Chuka" located in "Funabashi-cho, Omotemachi, Onna Shokomachi" about a 5-minute walk from the subway "Kitahama Station". The shop is run by a Chinese couple. This time, I ordered the lunch menu "Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork Set 1000 yen". The contents and evaluation are as follows. [◎, ◯, △] Sweet and Sour Pork ◯ Strong style black vinegar generously poured over tender pork with lots of meat as a bonus w/ onions, green peppers, carrots, and pickled vegetables. ◎ Homemade authentic juicy and delicious steamed chicken ◯ Cold salt dressing as an accent with a great combination with green onions Soup ◎ Served hot with a strong Chinese-style thick soup w/ egg, carrots, and green onions Tea ◎ Cold and light-tasting jasmine tea with a golden shine. The background music is J-pop! The customers are mostly business people dining alone. The restaurant was about 80% full. There were no women. The current Tabelog rating at the time of the visit is 3.05. The Sichuan pepper was small and spicy, giving off a street-style Chinese vibe. The Sweet and Sour Pork had a strong tangy flavor from the black vinegar, recommended for those who enjoy a pronounced vinegar taste. Unlike the usual sweet version, this one had an aggressive acidity that was enjoyable. The pork was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The vegetables were crunchy, providing a satisfying texture. Rice refills were free, but even without them, the portion was satisfying. Thank you for the meal. I had the black vinegar pork set meal for lunch, which cost 1,000 yen. The black vinegar flavor was not overpowering and had a refined taste. The portion size was quite generous, with plenty of well-cooked meat and crisp vegetables. The soup had a strong vinegar taste from the start, which I personally enjoyed. I would like to try it for dinner next time. However, I think it's not appropriate to smoke in the kitchen nowadays. Without that, it would have left an even better impression.
