Walking along Amidaike-suji from Awa-za Station to Nishinagahori Station in the south, there is a shop called "Takoshu" located at the midpoint. As I passed by, the smell of takoyaki filled the air, and since there was no line, I decided to stop by on my way back for souvenirs. There were about 50 takoyaki cooking on the hot plate, ready for takeout. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, so I ordered 10 pieces. They were quickly wrapped up for me. The shop had seating available, but it was empty that day. Within 5 minutes, I was back home. I realized that no one was there and felt a bit lonely. So, I took out a can of beer from the fridge and enjoyed my hot and fluffy takoyaki. They were generously covered in sauce, with pieces of octopus inside. By the time I finished eating, my daughter had returned home. I was full and satisfied. It made me realize that we haven't made takoyaki at home recently. I enjoyed the affordable takoyaki. Thank you for the meal.

I stumbled upon a takoyaki shop on Amidaike-Suji and couldn't resist stopping by. It's a little south of Awaza and the shop's bright lights caught my attention. The takoyaki here is surprisingly cheap at 180 yen for 6 pieces. When I got home and opened the container, I found that the takoyaki was quite substantial and delicious, with a strong sauce flavor. I was very satisfied with the value for money. The takoyaki had a good amount of filling, so 6 pieces were enough for me. Osaka really does have a lot of takoyaki shops, but I always end up stopping by. If you're near Awaza, it might be worth stopping by this takoyaki shop to get some for your kids too!

It's Abaza, located along Amidaike-Suji. I've never seen it open during the day, so I was wondering if it was actually operating. It seems that they mainly open at night. I bought some takoyaki. It was just regular sauce flavor. 6 pieces for 180 yen, cheap! And they were quite big. The taste was good! The texture was excellent, nice and soft. It paired well with the sauce! I think it's the best takoyaki place around here. Definitely recommended!

When did Osaka become a city known for flour-based dishes, in addition to being famous for okonomiyaki and takoyaki? I remember when Iwao-koshi was a specialty product here. But now, Osaka seems to be embracing all kinds of delicious foods, and as a fan of okonomiyaki and takoyaki, I couldn't be happier. I hope they continue to improve the quality of Osaka's food culture. As for Takoshu, they offer great value with 20 takoyaki for 600 yen and okonomiyaki for 300 yen. The takoyaki has a soft filling with a delicious broth, so be careful not to burn yourself. The okonomiyaki is loaded with vegetables and topped with sauce and mayonnaise, cooked perfectly on the griddle. They also offer other items like negimayo and yakisoba at very reasonable prices. Osaka's food culture is definitely thriving, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds. Thank you for the delicious meal!

6 pieces for 180 yen (as of April 2015). I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the sign while taking a walk. In this area where prices have been rising rapidly, getting takoyaki for 30 yen per piece is a rare find. It's a dream come true. As I passed through the hidden curtain at the back, I found the VIP seating area for dining in. No extra charge, which is great. I decided to dine in and ordered 6 pieces without hesitation. The total came to 180 yen, as expected. The takoyaki that was brought to me was even more exciting. It was just as big as shown in the pictures. Big. The main ingredient, the "tako" (octopus), was also pleasantly large. The batter and red ginger were good too. The sauce and mayonnaise were generously topped. The payment system was very straightforward, with each piece costing 30 yen no matter how many you order. They don't follow the common practice of decreasing prices for larger orders. This means there's no worry about overeating. They also have a good selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic options. The background music was from FM Osaka.

The pricing is low and very affordable. I placed an order right away, but it was hard to hear the response from the young girl who was cooking, and she wouldn't respond unless I raised my voice. It seemed like I visited during a turnover of takoyaki, as there were 3 pieces left in the takoyaki maker, and I was asked to wait for about 15 minutes. While I was waiting, there were about 4 customers waiting as well. When the takoyaki was ready, I noticed that the 3 pieces that had been left unattended were all given to me, while the customers who came later got freshly cooked ones. Unfortunately, the neglected takoyaki had clumpy insides and didn't taste good. It was a shame because the freshly cooked ones were decent in taste. Even with the low prices, with such poor service... I will never go back again.

I got takoyaki to go from a takoyaki shop in Shinmachi 3-chome. It was raining, so they got a little messy, but they were delicious! They were big and tasty, and a good deal at 600 yen for 12 pieces. Thanks for the meal!
