I tried a Bombay gin and tonic cocktail with muscat at the restaurant. The gin and tonic was easy to drink and quickly finished. The muscat cocktail was more like juice and also finished quickly (laughs). They had one type of wine each for sparkling, white, and red from Spain.

I went to a bar near JR Hakata Station to have a casual drink after a long time. It is located on the 6th floor of a building about a 3-minute walk from the Chikushi exit of Hakata Station, and it is a place I often visit for drinks as the third stop of the night. The bar has a low threshold, so there are many young customers and large groups, and the atmosphere is always lively. It's not the kind of place where you can quietly enjoy your drink or have conversations with the bartender or other customers. While sitting at the counter, I saw another customer order a strawberry cocktail, so I decided to try it as well. It had a slight acidity and was very delicious, made with strawberries that are currently in season.

Studying! Today, Yoshio took a break and had a toast with Misaki at the authentic bar in Hakata, Tony's Bar. Martini Manhattan or Neat, which one is better? A refreshing cocktail using TUMUGI tea won an award. Ended the fun study session with a drink at Miyagi Gorge. #Tony's Bar #Hakata Bar #Fukuoka Bar #Bar #Sapphire Time #sapphiretime

When you enter the corner of Nishi-Nippon City Bank at Hakata Station Chikushi Exit and walk a little, you will find a quiet American-style bar inside a mixed-use building. The lighting is dim and the atmosphere is calm, so the photos may appear dark. I sat at the counter on the right hand side. I was surprised to see a poster in front of me! It was a live poster of Jimi Hendrix and Three Dog Night! When I asked, I found out it was a replica. Even though it's a replica, it creates a nice atmosphere. I started with a cocktail. I chose the recommended strawberry cocktail. There was also a basil cocktail, but I went with this one. It's a strawberry cocktail with a slightly sour vodka base. The vodka flavor is not too strong, so it's recommended even for those who are not used to strong alcohol. The age and gender of the customers vary, making it a bar that is welcoming to everyone. I visited on a Friday night around 10pm and it quickly became full. There are many izakayas in this area, but there seem to be few places like this bar.

On the eve of the holiday, it's time for the usual Sapphire Time (/o\)♪____________________________________________There are few authentic bars in Hakata Station, but you can relax and have a drink here. I used it as a second place today. I've been enduring with just oolong high at the first izakaya, but the moment I drank the first glass of Karira... "It's really good!" I feel like the limiter is off w(^^;______________________I tend to drink too much when I drink good sake, so I save it by drinking oolong high. However, Karira is delicious! And tomorrow is a day off...______________________Second glass Dry Martini, huh? I'm starting to have fun. Third glass Bombay Sapphire, oh no, I'm definitely drinking too much today~ haha. Enjoying a smart and fun time with a group at the counter ♬ Responding to various situations in a store interior inspired by the American West. The night is getting late again tonight. This is a shot bar located just a few minutes' walk from JR Hakata Station (Chikushi Exit) and Hakata Station on the subway. It's a bar where people who are not familiar with alcohol or cocktails, bar beginners, women, and travelers can feel comfortable. The interior is designed to resemble a bar in the American West. When I visited, I was quite drunk so I didn't notice the details, but I could feel the warm and unpretentious atmosphere. There were solo customers at the counter and local company groups having a good time at the table seats. The back bar is filled with many bottles. Inside the counter, there is a friendly owner bartender and a lovely female bartender. Even if you're not as tipsy as I was this time, there's no doubt that you can relax without feeling pressured. There is a wall clock on the counter. It's almost manual, so don't rely on it suddenly jumping forward, haha. If you're worried about the train schedule, don't rely on it. On this day, I tried the Salty Dog with shiso from the seasonal fruit cocktail menu. The shiso flavor was exquisite, and it was very delicious! There were also kumquat, strawberry, pear, and tomato options. Thank you for the meal. The conversation with the staff was enjoyable, and before I knew it, the other customers had all left before the last train. Next time, I'll also enjoy a smart "last drink" before closing time. I stopped by at a bar near Hakata Station Chikushi Exit to have a drink. As soon as I got off the elevator in a mixed-use building, I entered the bar. I sat at the counter and enjoyed a fruity cocktail in the atmospheric interior. I had a great time!

I thought it was an amazing poster, but it turned out to be a replica. However, it was a great discovery that featured Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Three Dog Night, and Steppenwolf! It's a great bar, but definitely not quiet in Fukuoka.

I had some business near Hakata Station, so I decided to wander around the Chikushi exit of the station. Lately, I've been going to bars early in the evening quite frequently. I ended up at "Tony's Bar" on the 6th floor of a building. Once I stepped out of the elevator, I was already inside the bar. The concept seemed to be "the world is yours," which was interesting. It was quite hot, so I started with a mojito to cool off. It feels like early summer already. The bartender skillfully slapped the mint before adding it to the drink. While nibbling on some nuts, I looked through the menu and noticed a cocktail that the staff was planning to enter in a bartender association recipe contest. It was a frozen cocktail with a base of sake made from rice malt, topped with red plum jam and basil powder. It had a Japanese touch to it and was very refreshing and delicious, but I could tell it required a lot of effort to make. I ended the evening with a glass of 10-year-old Armagnac, thinking I would only have one drink but ended up having three. Thank you for the treat. Good luck with the contest.

This weekend, I went out drinking with my friend H. We started at a standing bar, eating various dishes and finishing a bottle of shochu. Afterwards, H took me to a bar he sometimes goes to. The atmosphere inside was dark, typical of a bar, but darker than I prefer. I ordered a bourbon from the female bartender. The place was quite lively, maybe because it was the weekend. It might be more relaxing on a weekday. We had a couple of drinks and then headed home. I got pleasantly drunk. I would visit this bar again when I want to drink around Hakata Station and feel like going to a bar. Thank you for the enjoyable time. I will come back again. Thank you for the meal!

I visited on a regular night, about a 7-minute walk from JR Hakata Station, Chikushi Exit. The restaurant is located in a corner of an office district. You can take the elevator to the 6th floor, which leads directly to the entrance of the restaurant. There are a counter and two table seats. The bar counter is quite spacious. When I visited, there were no customers. I had two glasses of Taketsuru highball and chatted with the male owner and female bartender who run the place. Eventually, two customers arrived. I watched the bartender's swift cocktail-making skills before deciding it was time to leave. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I went on a solo trip to a Hakata izakaya. I am heading to Naha, Okinawa from here, so instead of going to Nakasu or Daimyo, I decided to have a drink near Hakata Station. I sat at the counter of "Tony's Bar" and started with a pear gin and tonic. Pear is my favorite fruit among all. It was delicious. Since it was early, there were no other customers. I had a little chat with the bartender. I ordered a sidecar, which was quite delicious. This bar is conveniently located near the station, so it's a great place to stop by during transit. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Actually, I'm more knowledgeable about bars than food places, but it's been a while since I wrote a bar review. Fukuoka's last night, staying near Hakata Station South Exit, returning from drinking and eating in Nakasu with colleagues, I wanted to end my business trip by having a nightcap alone at a reasonable bar. I wandered around the hotel area looking for a bar, but couldn't find one easily, even though there were karaoke, izakaya, and snack bars. Finally, I found a bar with a sign that said "Bar," but it turned out to be a "Girls Bar." Just when I was about to give up and go back, I found a bar sign on an older building near the entrance. The photos on the sign looked decent, but since it was on the 6th floor of the building, I had to go in to see for myself. I decided to give it a try, thinking I wouldn't stay long. The atmosphere inside didn't seem bad, so I felt relieved. Bearing the heat of Kyushu as a Hokkaido person, I went for a standard Mojito. The second drink was a shochu cocktail made by the female bartender, which was easy to drink and delicious. It was a short cocktail, but not too strong, so personally, I prefer it long with lots of ice cubes packed in. That way, I can drink a lot more. And the most impressive drink was the Daiba Salty Dog! It was amazing! Soaking Daiba in vodka to make the Salty Dog, the flavor of Daiba and grapefruit was exquisite and refreshing. This is perfect for summer. I didn't plan to stay long, but ended up having three drinks in the end. Laugh out loud.

I was taken to a bar by a colleague after work. I'm not a big drinker, but I enjoy going to izakayas and bars. Upon entering, my first impression was quite positive. The bar had a chic atmosphere with orange lights, which I liked. I prefer dimly lit places, but I also enjoyed the ambiance here. The cover charge and drink prices were reasonable considering the location. I had cheese as a snack and enjoyed a mojito and cassis orange. Personally, I prefer cocktails made with summer oranges at this time of year (laughs). The service was attentive, and I would like to go back again. Thank you for the meal.

Located on the second floor of a curry udon restaurant about a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station Chikushiguchi. The bartender here seems to have won some competition. When I first visited, I ordered a cocktail called Blue Sky, which I used to order often over a decade ago. With just one word, the bartender shook up a beautifully presented cocktail that left me impressed! Since then, I have been visiting occasionally, and the range of customers is wide. Even when I go alone, I feel like the protagonist of a drama in the atmosphere of the place, and I believe it would be a romantic experience to go with friends or colleagues. It truly feels like a third place and a place to belong. My recent favorite cocktail is the Black Martini. I always end up having 3-4 glasses and it puts me in the best mood. The bartender, Y-san, exudes a refreshing and handsome charm akin to a celebrity, so it's no surprise that he has many female fans, as well as male fans. In a bar, the atmosphere of the place is important, but even more so is savoring a delicious cocktail and enjoying drinking it, the twilight at the counter, the gateway to dreams, you can see many things. Once you visit, you'll definitely want to go back to this place.
