First visit with three middle-aged men before dinner. This place seems to be famous for its fruit sandwiches and parfaits. Located in the middle of a triangular area between the Kamogawa and Takano rivers, it is quite challenging to approach from the Tetsukarasuma Line, Keihan Line, and Eizan Line stations. The front of the store has a parking space for two cars. We entered at 3:30 pm, with one group of two already inside. Inside the store, on the right side, there are displays of fruits, juice with jelly, and cakes. On the left side, there is a cafe space with seating for four tables of two and one table for two. There is no sense of tradition, and the interior is modern. We ordered: 1. Strawberry sandwich for 1500 yen 2. Fruit sandwich (papaya, pineapple, banana, strawberry, melon) for 1000 yen 3. Berry sandwich (raspberry, blueberry, strawberry) for 1000 yen 4. Set of 3 drinks for 1200 yen The dishes arrived in about 10 minutes. Our impressions: - The whipped cream is not too sweet, allowing the flavor of the fruits to shine through. Perhaps this is a characteristic of an established store? It may not be popular with children, but it is a mature fruit sandwich. - Each sandwich is packed with fruits, giving a powerful impression, but it is difficult to eat. If you can't fit it in one bite, the contents fall apart... It's quite messy and not very elegant. It's a dilemma whether to prioritize appearance or ease of eating. [Rating: 3.5] [Takeout] 4. Tablet chocolate (dark 55%) for 500 yen - Dark chocolate with banana, cranberries, pistachios, and walnuts on top 5. Tablet chocolate (white) for 500 yen - Sweet white chocolate with cranberries, pistachios, and hazelnuts on top. The chocolate in #5 is sweeter, but the tartness of the cranberries stands out. Both have a cameo-like appearance and look visually appealing. It's interesting to compare and contrast #4 and #5 while eating. [Rating: 3.7]
