Upon arriving at Chitose Airport, the first thing I ate was miso ramen from Shikaoi. When traveling to Hokkaido, my goal is to eat ramen and seafood. Every ramen shop had long lines, but this one was relatively empty, although I still waited for 20 minutes. More than half of the line was made up of people from China and South Korea, making me realize that the world is truly in motion. I ordered a classic miso ramen. The photo may not show it well, but there were plenty of tender chunks of meat in the ramen, giving it a satisfying texture. The soup tasted a bit like instant ramen to me. It was a treat to eat miso ramen again after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

It was still before 9 o'clock, and I was looking for something to do, so I headed to Ramen Dojo. I hadn't had ramen yet on this trip, so I was trying to decide where to go. There were already lines forming at Ichigen and Keyaki, which must be popular spots. However, I decided to visit my favorite, Abashiri Ramen. I chose the Spicy Miso Char Siu Ramen and added a side of gyoza set (5 garlic gyoza + draft beer). The total came to 2060 yen. I felt like I had ordered the same combination before, but I was really craving miso ramen this time, so I didn't even consider other options. The beer arrived first, and I took a sip. Soon after, the ramen and gyoza arrived, making the table lively. The ramen was spicy miso, but not overly spicy, just a mild kick. As I ate, I felt like there were more vegetables than usual, which was a pleasant surprise. The garlic gyoza was delicious too, although I was a bit worried about the garlic breath. The beer went down smoothly with the meal. Before I knew it, everything was gone. It was another enjoyable meal, and I hope to visit again soon. Thank you for the meal.

After 19:45, many shops have already closed their last order, but we went to Shikaoi in hopes of trying their miso butter corn ramen. Even though I was already full, I asked if we could share one bowl between the two of us, and they kindly agreed. The dish was not as mild as I expected, with a rich miso ramen flavor enhanced by the butter. The corn was sweet and delicious. It was a great way to end our trip. If I ever go back, I would like to try their salted salmon flakes.

While seeing off my son at New Chitose Airport during his visit home, we decided to have ramen for dinner. I ordered spicy miso ramen while my son ordered seafood soy sauce ramen along with a Mashu highball. The spicy miso ramen wasn't as spicy as it looked, making it easy to eat. For those who enjoy spicy food, it may be a bit lacking in heat.

I came to Hokkaido and realized I hadn't eaten ramen yet. So, I hurried to eat ramen at the airport on my way back. I didn't have much time, so I chose a shop with a short line, but it was a shop with lots of photos of ramen with long slices of chashu. I'm not really interested in chashu, so I ordered miso butter corn ramen. The ramen area at this airport is crowded with customers packed tightly in small shops, making it a bit uncomfortable. People I don't know are close in front and beside me, everyone waiting for their ramen. It's quite awkward. I hope they can improve the situation a bit. That being said, the ramen was delicious, so I guess people keep coming back. As for the taste, the miso ramen had that classic miso flavor with a hint of butter and richness, and the meat miso melted a bit as well... delicious! It was enjoyable. The noodles were firm and chewy. After sweating a bit and filling my stomach, I left the crowded shop feeling refreshed. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious.

It was past lunchtime, but oh, this was an airport, bustling with people. We decided to avoid the long line and entered a narrow table side by side, not very comfortable. I couldn't remember what I had last time, so I chose seafood broth soy sauce (which was also what I had last time, haha). My companion seemed hungry, so they chose rare pork miso. I wonder if there are days when you can get salmon broth at the airport store. It was delicious, but now I'm thirsty.

Visited alone at the end of August on a Tuesday. While taking care of various things at New Chitose Airport, there was less than an hour and a half until boarding time. I really wanted to eat ramen, but Ichigen had the usual long line. Other ramen shops were also quite crowded, with weak air conditioning, loud talking from the old man, children crying, and multiple languages being spoken... The summer tourist energy was intense. So, I decided to visit Tokachi, diagonally across from Ichigen, for the first time in a while. There were about 6 groups waiting, but I was seated at the counter in about 10 minutes. I ordered the miso ramen with roast pork, corn, and butter on top, along with garlic gyoza. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The combination of rich yet mild miso soup and curly noodles is the familiar taste of Hokkaido miso ramen. The large slices of roast pork, ground meat, corn, bean sprouts, and other ingredients all complement each other well. The butter melts and changes the flavor nicely. The gyoza was smaller in size, with only 5 pieces. It was a bit disappointing that the punch of garlic wasn't very strong. I enjoyed it while sweating profusely, creating a memorable experience in hot Hokkaido.

This day was the day to return from Hokkaido. Since I hadn't had breakfast, we decided to eat at the airport, and ended up at this restaurant. There was a bit of a line, but it wasn't as long as some of the other ramen shops, so we decided to eat here. However, Shikaoi is a famous ramen shop in Hokkaido. I haven't been to the main store yet, so I decided to eat here since we were here. I hadn't eaten ramen on this trip to Hokkaido, so I chose to have miso ramen. I slurped up the yellow, transparent curly noodles vigorously, and I like the unique firmness of the noodles in this miso ramen. That chewy, crunchy feeling when you bite into it. It was delicious!

On the final day of my trip to Hokkaido, I had miso ramen for lunch at the airport, as expected. I visited the restaurant in Shikaoi, where there was no line at 3:00 PM, and had a regular miso ramen for 980 yen. It had minced meat, diced chashu, delicious egg, and sliced kelp, unique to Shikaoi. The ginger was also well-flavored, making it a satisfying dish. Of course, I also had a Sapporo Classic beer. Personally, I consider it the best and most delicious miso ramen.

I had Hokkaido ramen at Chitose Airport. There were many shops and I didn't know which one was good as a beginner. I didn't have much time, so I chose this one because there was still a small line. It had a nice aroma of miso and butter. The chashu was unique and I couldn't finish it, but I want to go back and take my time next time, haha.

Heading towards the front of the Ramen Dojo, I saw a line for shrimp soba and decided to enter this restaurant to be greeted. Despite my impending boarding time, I managed to secure my usual takeout pork bowl and wanted to eat ramen before leaving. After waiting for a few minutes, I received my rich miso ramen promptly. It was delicious as always, but I recommend savoring the soup for an even better experience.

I'm happy that they have half-size ramen! It's perfect with beer and small gyoza. I chose the seafood soup, but I want to try the miso too! The chashu was light, so I could eat as many slices as I wanted. The noodles were firm and paired well with the soup. It was good!

I decided to go to Shikaoi instead of the ramen area at New Chitose Airport because it gets really crowded during lunchtime. I really wanted to eat miso ramen. Since I'm not a fan of chashu, I ordered a menu with less chashu. The miso ramen had buttered corn in it. The taste of the soup was extremely traditional and delicious! It was the perfect miso ramen! The curly noodles with an egg-like color were irresistible. Hokkaido ramen is known for its great noodles. The seafood-based soup was rich and incredibly tasty. It was a very satisfying way to end the meal.

Before returning to Tokyo, I charged up with miso ramen at New Chitose Airport. Instead of the famous shop with always long lines, I decided to try Jozankei Ramen. They open at 9 am, which is convenient. Although I was tempted by the beer, gyoza, and mini ramen set, I stuck with the classic miso ramen. Jozankei Ramen is known for their delicious classic miso ramen. My order arrived in less than 5 minutes. It was a joy to have Jozankei Ramen again. The rich miso soup, medium curly noodles, and toppings of chashu, sautéed vegetables, boiled egg, seaweed, green onions, minced meat, and fish cake were all delicious. Mixing the minced meat into the soup added even more richness. Despite having high blood pressure, I couldn't resist drinking all the soup until the end. It was a satisfying bowl.

This is a shop in the ramen area of New Chitose Airport that serves miso ramen. It's easy to slip in as there are many shops lined up. The taste of the miso ramen is nostalgic and classic. The chashu was tender and delicious. The flavored egg was the best! The flavor is rich and the portion is generous, so make sure to go on an empty stomach.

As it was inside Chitose Airport, it was quite crowded, but being a ramen shop, they had a quick turnover! This time I ordered the spicy miso ramen. The rich soup had a delicious flavor that paired well with the chewy curly noodles. Personally, I loved the soft menma and the unique seasoning of the ajitama eggs, it was pure happiness. Also, the kelp that came with it left a strong impression! It accelerated the umami of the soup. The combination with the toppings was excellent, it was the best. My partner's miso ramen (with buttered corn topping) was also delicious and rich.

I visited for lunch. This time, I ordered the roast pork miso ramen, seafood shoyu ramen, garlic gyoza, and salmon roe bowl. The miso ramen had a rich flavor and was topped with vegetables, giving it a satisfying taste. The shoyu ramen, however, was a bit too sweet for my liking. The gyoza was bite-sized and easy to eat. The salmon roe bowl had a good amount of salmon roe on top and was not too salty, making it a delicious and easy to eat dish. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is my several times visiting this restaurant. This time, I ordered their old-fashioned soy sauce ramen. It was a light soy sauce with a fragrance of bonito flakes and mackerel flakes. The noodles were thick, yellow, and curly. They were firm and delicious! The ramen was served quickly, making it easy to eat even when you're short on time.

Ramen shop inside New Chitose Airport. Located in Ramen Street on the 3rd floor of the airport. All the shops had long lines, but this one seemed less crowded and easy to get in. Their specialty is the seafood soy sauce ramen for 980 yen. The soup is made from scallops, various seafood, and water from Lake Mashu. When you take a sip, you can feel the wind and the sound of the water from Lake Mashu. The soup is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are medium-thick and curly. It's a satisfying experience to have such delicious ramen at the airport, especially without waiting in a long line. Thank you for the meal!

I had the fish broth soy sauce ramen. It had a satisfying texture and a rich flavor, yet it was light and easy to eat with a subtle oiliness. The noodles were thick and mixed well with the soup. I enjoyed the mildness and the richness of the soy sauce. It was delicious! So far, it's my favorite on Ramen Street.
