Soy sauce-based ramen for 800 yen. Until around 6 pm, rice is all-you-can-eat. Sometimes I wonder if they are actually slurping the ramen at certain chain stores because the noodles are short, but at this restaurant, the noodles are relatively long and give a good slurping sensation. I ordered everything in regular size, and the taste was solid with a good balance. Condiments were also available. It's a place I definitely want to visit again.

There was something annoying me, so I decided to jump on a train and ended up at a ramen shop that was supposed to be open every day but was closed on Tuesdays. Feeling disappointed, I headed back to Hachinohe Village in East Osaka. As I was waiting for a local train, I searched for ramen shops until I found one located under the elevated tracks near a university and high school, attracting many students. Despite the noisy atmosphere, I enjoyed the delicious "Takaida soy sauce-based" ramen with a clear and creamy pork bone broth. It was a happy moment for me, especially after finishing the soup completely. The fried rice had a generous amount of ingredients and was slightly oily, catering to a younger crowd. Overall, I was satisfied with the rich soy sauce flavor and the perfect balance of the pork bone broth in the ramen, which helped ease my disappointment.

I tried the tonkotsu shio ramen recommended by my boyfriend. I'm not a fan of rich flavors, so the first bite was really delicious, but I got tired of the strong taste after about half of it. If you like strong flavors, I recommend trying it.

The free rice is dry and unappetizing... I wonder if the rice served during evening hours or with paid dishes is delicious? The restaurant may have a lively atmosphere, but the ramen bowls are placed with one hand, facing away from me towards the entrance or someone else. There are many restaurants where the bowls are placed with one hand, but it doesn't give me a good feeling when it seems like their attention is elsewhere. The miso soup is always too salty, and I always think I won't go back while eating it, but I end up forgetting and going back again.

I went to Ichiran-ya and had ramen! It had been a while since I last went, but as expected from Ichiran-ya! The ramen was delicious, and I savored the aftertaste. I really like the genre of house-style ramen, and I believe that white rice goes much better with ramen than fried rice. I love pouring ramen soup over white rice and eating it, and Ichiran-ya's soup goes incredibly well with rice! Thank you for the best ramen!

I went around 6 pm. There was a group of students and a few others. I sat by the window, but there were quite a few flies, and for some reason they were all over my mask, so I couldn't use it. There were even two flies buzzing around, so I couldn't focus on eating. I ordered the pork bone soy sauce ramen, but it was not very delicious, even though it was supposed to be the specialty. I ordered the regular one, but I think the stronger flavor would be better. I tried putting all the condiments that were available, but the garlic somehow tasted sour. It was delicious once I added the chili bean paste.

"I often go to Yokohama-style ramen restaurant Ichirenka in Amerikamura, but this was my first time at the Hachinohe-no-Sato branch. I ordered the half-cooked seasoned egg ramen (thick noodles, firm) for 840 yen and a bottle of beer for 500 yen. It has a similar taste to Kansai-style ramen that can be found in Osaka. The rich soup and thick noodles make for a classic house-style ramen, with a slightly milder flavor compared to the original. It's easy to eat and I appreciate the free rice option."

The original house ramen was truly amazing, living up to its reputation as the originator of the style. I had been wanting to try it for a long time and finally got the chance to eat it! The soup was delicious, and the perfect match with the rice, a characteristic of house ramen. The unlimited chopped ginger was a great addition, complementing the ramen perfectly and also a great side dish with rice! This is a place that once you go, you'll want to keep going back.

As a memo, I purchased the following: - Soft-boiled egg ramen (¥840) - Special ramen (Deluxe Special) (¥940) Rice bar (from 11:00 to 18:00) For ramen orders only In response to COVID-19, the menu and descriptions are simple. Divider screens are also installed on the counter seats.

First visit to the shop, tried the tonkotsu ramen with flavored egg and thick noodles. The majority of customers were young men, probably students. It seems like the thick noodles are popular here because it's a rich broth. You can choose between thin or thick noodles for the tonkotsu ramen. You can also adjust the firmness of the noodles, richness of the broth, and amount of oil. Since it's a family-style ramen, I was prepared for it to be rich, but eating it during my work lunch break made it seem even heavier (first time trying a family-style ramen after coming back from the beach). Next time, I'll go for a lighter option. Thank you for the meal.

This was my first visit. I heard it was delicious, so I decided to try it out. They have various tasty menu items like set meals with half-fried rice and char siu noodles. They also offer tsukemen and ramen, so the options are wide. I ordered the vegetable ramen with thin noodles, firm texture, strong flavor, and normal oil. It's great that you can customize your order. The soup was delicious and the vegetables were easy to eat. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch was at Yokohama-style ramen restaurant Ichirenya in Hattorinori, Higashi Osaka City. It is a ramen chain with about 10 locations in Kansai. I decided to try the Half Fried Rice Set (1,000 yen), which felt a bit adventurous as I don't usually spend 1,000 yen on ramen. You buy a meal ticket and take your seat. Self-service for water and such. There was also a mini rice bar for free refills, although I wouldn't call it "mini" if it's free refills. You can choose between two types of ramen: tonkotsu shoyu or tonkotsu salt. I chose tonkotsu salt with normal thickness noodles. The ramen arrived after a short wait and was quite rich in flavor. The noodles were not as thin as I expected. The taste was richer than I thought, leaving a lingering flavor in my mouth. The fried rice was average. Personally, I don't think it's worth 1,000 yen. The ramen alone for 720 yen would have been enough.

I visited this shop in the afternoon on a holiday. The black and huge store name on the storefront sign is quite impressive. It was around 3:00 PM, and about 40% of the customers were young groups or families. I bought a ticket for pork bone soy sauce ramen at the ticket machine. Shortly after, a staff member came to confirm my order and asked about the firmness of the noodles and the amount of fat. It seems like you have to pour your own water, as cups were provided near the entrance. The noodles were thin, which I like, and there were two large seaweed sheets sticking to the side of the ramen bowl. The spinach was finely chopped and easy to eat. The soup was delicious and just right. It really made me feel like ramen is all about pork bone broth. Rice is free from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and I had one bowl. By the way, refills are also free. It was a heartwarming bowl. Thank you for the meal. The pork bone soy sauce ramen costs 720 yen.

The writer was bothered by a group of young people talking loudly about inappropriate topics in a restaurant. They ordered tonkotsu shoyu ramen with normal noodle firmness, sauce amount, and fat level, along with extra toppings. The ramen was described as having a rich tonkotsu flavor with a noticeable animal smell. The noodles were thicker than typical Kyushu or Hakata ramen, providing a chewy texture. The writer found the rice bar service to be unique, where customers who arrived before 6 pm and ordered ramen could enjoy unlimited rice for just 100 yen. Despite the rowdy group of young customers, the writer did not find the ramen particularly delicious that day, possibly due to their own health condition or taste preference. The term "家系" (kakei) used to describe the ramen style was also puzzling to the writer.

Sometimes I crave for home-style ramen! It's delicious! A hearty pork bone soy sauce soup with thick noodles. Today, after finishing my morning meeting, I was thinking about where to have lunch. My front tooth is hurting and feels like it's about to fall out. I've been trying to ignore it, but it's reached its limit. I'll go to the dentist today! But before that, I need to eat something... I don't have much of an appetite, so maybe ramen will do. So, I went to my favorite ramen shop for home-style ramen. Personally, I love their soup! Rich pork bone soy sauce soup with thick noodles... delicious! I had the flavored egg pork bone soy sauce ramen for 820 yen. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal! (#^.^#)

East Osaka Ramen Shop Conquest Series!! I visited Yokohama-style Ramen Ichirenke Hachinonosato store~(^o^)丿I visited the Kosaka store the other day, and it was quite delicious, so I was curious about the Hachinonosato store nearby. I arrived at the store around 22:20. When I entered the store, there were 3 customers already. Since it's a ticket vending machine system, I decided to buy a meal ticket and found an interesting menu!! Kimchi Chige Ramen for 880 yen. Although I originally planned to try the Tonkotsu Shoyu that I had at the Kosaka store and compare the taste differences, I changed my plans. I pressed the button for Kimchi Chige Ramen (*´ -`)σThere are counter seats and table seats, and I sat at the counter seat at the back. When I handed the meal ticket to the female staff, she told me that I could only specify the firmness of the noodles, so I requested normal firmness. Shortly after, the Kimchi Chige Ramen arrived\(^o^)/Wow~ the soup is bright red~ The ingredients include a slice of pork thigh chashu, spinach, kimchi, quail egg, and two sheets of seaweed. When I tried the soup, it had a light spiciness. It has a slightly sweet tonkotsu-based soy sauce flavor with a moderate richness. This is quite delicious♪ There is chili bean paste on the table, so if you want it to be very spicy, feel free to add a lot. The noodles are thick flat curly noodles. They have a chewy texture with a slightly rough feel. Since the noodles are short, about 20cm, they are very easy to eat. The noodles are curly, so there was a lot of splashing soup^^The kimchi flavor is sweet, and the spiciness is mild. The soft spinach has a refreshing taste, perfect for cleansing the palate♪ The chashu is seared, giving it a fragrant aroma. The meat is slightly firm. The quail egg and seaweed were also delicious. Thank you for the meal(^~^)

Hello everyone! How are you doing in this cold weather? During such a cold season... I feel like eating hot pot to warm up♪( ´▽`) But today, I went to eat ramen again (^ ^) This time, I visited a local ramen shop, Yokohama-style ramen Ichirenka Hachinori Store.--------------------------------------Around 2 pm on a weekday, I arrived at the Yokohama-style ramen Ichirenka Hachinori Store in front of Hachinori Station♪ I've been curious about this place since it opened in Hachinori, and this was my first visit! I found out that they have quite a few branches... from America-mura to Kobe, they have a wide range of locations. I took a photo of the exterior and then entered the store. I purchased the "Ajitama Ramen 780 yen" from the ticket machine near the entrance. I handed the ticket to the staff and sat at the counter seat!! I requested "firm noodles, normal soup, normal oil" as my preferences. There were many university students eating here, as there is a university nearby, and the self-service rice corner was bustling! I wasn't very hungry, so I opted for just the ramen without rice! Since it's Yokohama-style ramen, I thought it might take a while, but it surprisingly arrived in about 3 minutes! The noodles were firm〜〜♪ First, I tried the soup... Mmm〜〜! It's been a while since I had Yokohama-style soup! It was quite creamy and delicious♪ I thought the salt content was a bit high, but I have a "bring on the rich saltiness!" style, so I didn't mind. The noodles were medium-thick, slightly flat, short, and curly! They coated well with the soup, and short noodles are easy to eat, which is nice♪ There was also very little "splashing" of the soup. Next up, spinach! Yokohama-style ramen always comes with spinach, right? I love this! When I tried it, it was lightly coated with butter and had a good flavor! This is also good for my "bring on the rich oiliness!" style♪ The small char siu was slightly seared, giving it a nice golden color and aroma! Since I didn't have rice, I just enjoyed the seaweed in a regular way♪ Compared to other Yokohama-style ramen shops, the soup here felt richer and saltier, so if you're concerned about salt, you might want to ask for it to be "lighter"♪ I'll come back next time when I'm super hungry and ready to eat lots of rice!! Thank you for the meal!

<January '19 7th> As a note... at the beginning of the year, there are limited options for open restaurants. In such cases, chain stores and junk food places come in handy. I happened to pass by one of these places that was open and decided to visit. It was crowded with young people who seemed to be students. I purchased the following items from the ticket machine: - Special Extra Large Ramen (¥880) - Flavored Egg Ramen (¥780) They offer a free rice service until 6 pm after opening. And you can have unlimited refills. I chose firm noodles, normal flavor strength, and normal amount of oil. The recommended seasonings are a spoonful of garlic, a pinch of black pepper, a pinch of chopped ginger, and a little bean paste.

First stop for lunch was a tonkatsu restaurant with a long line. Second stop, the fusion restaurant surprisingly didn't serve lunch on Sundays. Oh well... I guess I'll go eat at that ramen shop I can see from here. It's a ○○ style ramen shop. A phrase commonly heard at ramen shops. Honestly, I've only ever lived using phrases like "athletic club style," "cultural club style," or "700 series." I've heard the explanation of "house style" many times, but I still can't seem to remember what it means. The other day, a reviewer taught me the term "Mataoma style." I think it's a wonderful term. Anyway, I'm going to eat a rich pork bone ramen. For lunch, it's self-serve with unlimited rice. They also mention that the pork bone soup is free from any unpleasant odor. Writing about it makes me feel like I can smell the odor, you weirdo Torajiro... Oh well, I'll sprinkle some red powder on it. Even though there is a slight odor, it's still edible, so I finished it. Goodbye, house style ramen.

As a memo... On a weekday afternoon, after finishing up some errands in the Yahata-no-sato area, it was just about lunchtime. I decided to grab a quick ramen nearby, parked at a nearby coin parking lot, and visited this place. Please note that the parking lot in front of the restaurant is not affiliated. The staff greeted me warmly with a homey atmosphere. I ordered the following: - Ichiren-ya Special Jumbo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen (¥880) - Ajitama Ramen (¥780) I enjoyed a rich and hearty home-style ramen. The ability to customize the flavor with garlic and doubanjiang was a highlight.
