Hello everyone! How are you doing in this cold weather? During such a cold season... I feel like eating hot pot to warm up♪( ´▽`) But today, I went to eat ramen again (^ ^) This time, I visited a local ramen shop, Yokohama-style ramen Ichirenka Hachinori Store.--------------------------------------Around 2 pm on a weekday, I arrived at the Yokohama-style ramen Ichirenka Hachinori Store in front of Hachinori Station♪ I've been curious about this place since it opened in Hachinori, and this was my first visit! I found out that they have quite a few branches... from America-mura to Kobe, they have a wide range of locations. I took a photo of the exterior and then entered the store. I purchased the "Ajitama Ramen 780 yen" from the ticket machine near the entrance. I handed the ticket to the staff and sat at the counter seat!! I requested "firm noodles, normal soup, normal oil" as my preferences. There were many university students eating here, as there is a university nearby, and the self-service rice corner was bustling! I wasn't very hungry, so I opted for just the ramen without rice! Since it's Yokohama-style ramen, I thought it might take a while, but it surprisingly arrived in about 3 minutes! The noodles were firm〜〜♪ First, I tried the soup... Mmm〜〜! It's been a while since I had Yokohama-style soup! It was quite creamy and delicious♪ I thought the salt content was a bit high, but I have a "bring on the rich saltiness!" style, so I didn't mind. The noodles were medium-thick, slightly flat, short, and curly! They coated well with the soup, and short noodles are easy to eat, which is nice♪ There was also very little "splashing" of the soup. Next up, spinach! Yokohama-style ramen always comes with spinach, right? I love this! When I tried it, it was lightly coated with butter and had a good flavor! This is also good for my "bring on the rich oiliness!" style♪ The small char siu was slightly seared, giving it a nice golden color and aroma! Since I didn't have rice, I just enjoyed the seaweed in a regular way♪ Compared to other Yokohama-style ramen shops, the soup here felt richer and saltier, so if you're concerned about salt, you might want to ask for it to be "lighter"♪ I'll come back next time when I'm super hungry and ready to eat lots of rice!! Thank you for the meal!
