The sauce options are the classic sauce mayo, and today I also chose the "Half & Half" option with soy sauce mayo. When it comes to takoyaki, I like the classic sauce mayo the best, but sometimes I feel like having soy sauce as a palate cleanser... that's just how it goes, right? Soy sauce makes the sauce stand out more. It was a great deal with a drink included, perfect for a relaxing time in the food court.

Normally, my child eats until he's full and then shares with me, but this time I knew we couldn't finish 10 pieces, so we started sharing from the beginning. The price was a bit higher compared to street takoyaki shops, but the takoyaki was bigger and the octopus inside was also quite large. The takoyaki was soft and slightly small, which is typical of Osaka-style takoyaki. The black pepper flavor was quite strong. It looked refreshing, and even came with lemon. The taste was like dipping fried chicken in black pepper salt and mayonnaise... just without the mayo. Honestly, mayonnaise can be a bit heavy. But it was delicious, so I'll keep it in mind for my next takoyaki party.

I came to Ario Hikari for an event. I decided to have a quick lunch at the food court. I've been craving takoyaki lately. The takoyaki shop near my place was closed for Golden Week, so I came here today. I've never tried Koga-style takoyaki before, but I've heard of it. It's a funny movie with laughter and a little bit of crying. Before the movie started, I decided to grab lunch at Ario Hoshigaoka's food court~♪ I had takoyaki at the food court. When I added a beer to my order, the beer was only 300 yen~♪ The takoyaki had a sauce and mayonnaise flavor with lots of green onions. Even though I have a sensitive tongue, it wasn't too hot to eat right away. It was just a regular takoyaki, nothing special about it (lol). The portion was a bit large, so I shared it with my friend~♪ My friend ordered champon at Ringer Hut. They got the veggie-packed version, but it was too much and we couldn't finish it... It was quite a struggle (lol).

I have been here a few times before, but it seems like the takoyaki has gotten smaller. Also, when I had it before, I remember it being hot and delicious, but today it was a bit cold. However, my kids found it easy to eat. The green onion ponzu sauce that came with the Ario Plate was really tasty.

However, if there are too many toppings and it's hard to taste the takoyaki itself, you might want to try a different topping to enjoy the flavor of the takoyaki more clearly.
