Business hotel~. The breakfast venue quickly transforms into a buffet restaurant for lunch~♪ Here, at the underground breakfast venue of APA Villa Hotel, Kent East, they have been working hard to operate a buffet from the past. I have been there many times at night, but this is my first visit during the day. It costs 1,100 yen and they only accept cash (..;). At this buffet, first, you choose a main dish at the reception. Then, you select side dishes like small plates, but there is a rule that you can't repeat the same item. For example, if you like the simmered vegetables, you can't get it again. Only certain items like curry, rice, and miso soup are available for refills. However, it's enough. There are various side dishes and the main dish is quite substantial, so there are no issues. I chose the tonkatsu made with pork from three different regions as the main dish. The meat is soft and delicious with a decent thickness~! It may be a bit pricey at 1,100 yen, but my stomach is full. I feel like I got my money's worth already (^o^;). The rice also has a delicious smell when the lid is opened, as if it was just cooked. There are no windows and the atmosphere may be a bit dim, but it's good for those who are hungry. By the way, the tonkatsu is delicious, but the accompanying french fries are cold. They should have a device to keep the fried food warm. I hope they consider adding that.

I ordered the hamburger lunch set. The side dishes and salad are self-service buffet style. I didn't know how to take them because there was not enough explanation. It seems like only regular customers come here, so maybe they don't need explanations. The hamburger plate also came with shrimp fry, which was a good deal. The taste was also delicious.

I went to the Apa Hotel buffet again. This time I went later in the day. I didn't have any curry this time, but I ate a lot of bread. The taste was just average. It's a good place to go when you want to stuff yourself.

This is a restaurant located in the basement of an APA hotel. They offer a lunch buffet for 1,080 yen with prepayment and it ends at 2 pm. The restaurant has smoking and non-smoking sections, but the smell of smoke is still present. It seems like they haven't properly separated the areas. Since it's a buffet, there are a lot of people moving around. Smokers come to get their food along with the smoke. It would be better if they made the whole restaurant non-smoking. Let's focus on the food now. There are delicious shrimp and hamburgers available. How about trying shrimp curry and putting the hamburger in it? The curry tastes like a commercial version, could use more flavor. The side dishes are overly seasoned, making your throat dry. However, the bread is really tasty. The bread and salad might make me consider coming back.

I used it for lunch. There are about 8 main menu items such as sukiyaki and hamburger, and you choose one. I chose sukiyaki, and it had a lot of meat in it, so I was very satisfied. Side dishes, salad, yogurt, curry rice, and drinks were available at the buffet. During the corona period, you couldn't get refills on side dishes, but that's understandable. I was full. The price was 1,100 yen. Even though I went after 12 o'clock, I was able to use it smoothly without waiting, probably because the place is spacious.

Today's adventure is aimed at conquering the lunch spots near my workplace in Yodoyabashi. This time, I decided to visit "Kent East" located in the basement of APA Hotel. The price limit has been relaxed to 1000 yen (excluding tax) this year, so I was excited to try out this buffet-style restaurant for 1080 yen. After paying upfront, I was seated and ready to dig in. I filled my plate with a variety of dishes, including salad, soup, and rice, and said, "Let's eat!" The food was decent, with each dish being pre-made. The atmosphere was cafeteria-like, and I enjoyed my meal. Even though I could have seconds, I felt like something was missing – perhaps a main dish to complement the sides. Overall, I left feeling full after finishing with coffee, pastry, and a marshmallow chocolate tower. I said my thanks and left, thinking that it would be more fun to visit with a larger group for a lively event.

The boss and senior colleague took me out for a lunch a little further away. It was an amazing lunch. The restaurant was located in the basement of a hotel, with a spacious area and neatly arranged tables. In one corner, there was a chocolate fondue tower. The lunch was a buffet for 1050 yen, offering a variety of dishes such as bread, rice, mushroom rice, curry, pasta, salted salmon, tofu, rolled omelette, meat and potato stew, fried horse mackerel, dried daikon radish, freeze-dried tofu, sautéed burdock root, pickles, miso soup, and more. The highlight was the chocolate fondue. There was also a drink bar available. This meal alone could provide all the necessary calories for a day. The price was very affordable. The atmosphere and service were stylish and elegant, typical of a hotel. I reevaluated APA Hotel. Sometimes, it's nice to have such a luxurious lunch. My stomach is so full! Bon appétit!

The shabu-shabu meat that was initially served was quite delicious. Honestly, the buffet dishes were not very extensive in variety. However, with the all-you-can-drink option included, it is great for parties and gatherings. The location is also convenient in Yodoyabashi, an office district. When we were starting to feel full, we were pleasantly surprised when they brought out kushikatsu skewers. It was a very cold day, and the heating wasn't working well, which was a bit disappointing, but overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our visit.

I had breakfast for three days as part of a hotel's official breakfast plan from September 7th to 9th, 2013. The hotel was said to be better than the one near Higobashi Station, which has not been as impressive lately. I had high expectations because the hotel had a bakery with excellent bread, unlike the one near Higobashi Station. However, the breakfast menu was the same as the chain's main dining, Shiki, and I was disappointed with the lackluster warm dishes. The variety of bread was limited to about five types, which was disappointing. Overall, I felt that the quality did not match the price. While I did not use the bakery cafe or have lunch or dinner at the hotel, I still felt that the overall value for money was not as good as it used to be compared to the one near Higobashi Station. It was a letdown when considering the difference in quality compared to hotels like Shiomimae, Chao Saigon, and Makuhari. I won't go into detail about the menu, but I'm sure you can imagine what it was like. APA hotels can be hit or miss, especially when it comes to breakfast. In my opinion, outsourcing breakfast services to external vendors may result in better quality compared to in-house services, with some exceptions like La Veranda.

The price is cheap, but I wouldn't use it unless I'm staying at the hotel. It's located on the basement floor of Apa Villa Hotel and is spacious but feels a bit dark. The food is decent for the price, but the variety for the breakfast buffet is a bit limited. There aren't many juice options and not much alcohol available. The bread, which I think is from the bakery on the first floor, is delicious. However, at 1050 yen, it's a bit expensive for just breakfast. Dinner seems cheap as well, but I don't feel like trying it out.

Recently, I've been caught up in a bread boom and ended up going. Everyone had good manners and lined up properly without poking at unnecessary things, so it was in good condition. There were also many new products! When products ran out, they were promptly restocked with new ones. The new products in the sweet bread category were delicious. You definitely should try them out!

On weekdays, you can have a meal for 1050 yen. With dessert, it's 1300 yen. I arrived at 1 pm so it was not crowded. The restaurant is very clean and has a lot of Japanese dishes which give a healthy impression. The original curry and shrimp chili were delicious. There is also a bakery on the first floor with a variety of bread, both savory and sweet. The bread was delicious and satisfying. The sweet bread served as dessert. The staff promptly cleared empty plates, showing great attention to customers. Since it's located in an office district, there were many solo diners but no families with children. I didn't see anyone order dessert so I can't comment on that.
