Finally, I was able to go to lunch as a cancellation for a reservation at Dufyel-san became available. I chose the main course with two options for 3,850 yen including tax. The white peach juice I ordered had a puree-like texture and just the right amount of sweetness. The first course was a cabbage soup with a strong cabbage aroma, which got me excited for what was to come. The next course was a smoked broccoli appetizer with mustard seeds and broccoli sauce, which was a unique combination that worked well together. Then came a salad made with 30 types of vegetables, topped with chrysanthemum petals, adding a stylish touch. The salad allowed me to enjoy the sweetness of the vegetables and the spice of the dressing. I had another serving of bread before moving on to the fish course, which was served with a white wine sauce and a vibrant green spinach powder instead of matcha. The meat course featured moist chicken breast cooked at low temperature, paired with a milky Jerusalem artichoke sauce. After thoroughly enjoying the meal, I was full. For dessert, I had two options: a chocolate cheesecake and a salt sorbet with berry sauce. The salt sorbet had the perfect balance of saltiness and creaminess, while the chocolate cheesecake was rich and creamy, complemented by the berries. It was a lunch experience that engaged all my senses, and I had a great time enjoying the delicious food.

Visited for lunch on the weekend. I made a reservation a week in advance this time, as I had been turned away in the past due to it being fully booked on the day. I opted for the lunch course priced at around 3000 yen, which came with a non-alcoholic wine set. The menu included: -Silk sweet potato soup -Salad made with 30 types of vegetables -Tasting of two types of deer meat -Original pudding -Black sesame mousse The highlight was definitely the salad made with 30 types of vegetables, which was not only visually appealing but also delicious. Personally, I was especially impressed by the spinach dish in the appetizer section. It featured spinach prepared in three different ways, paired with tuna, and it was incredibly tasty. The variety of spinach dishes was truly impressive! I highly recommend trying this restaurant at least once. It's great for dates and girls' night out. The restaurant is small, so I suggest making a reservation in advance due to limited seating.

I had the smaller course meal for lunch. The appetizer and main dishes were full of vegetables, colorful and pleasing to women. The cooking method must be amazing because even carrots, which I don't like, tasted incredibly delicious, almost like sweet potatoes with plenty of honey.

First visit today, working remotely in Kyoto. Anything is possible as long as you have a PC and a mobile phone... I'm really enjoying this trend lately. I made a reservation about a week ago after seeing photos of the food. While Kyoto is known for its traditional Japanese cuisine, I have been paying attention to French cuisine as well lately... [3.15] Reviews: 7. It seems like a well-established restaurant that has been awarded a Bib Gourmand since its first year, open for about 3 years. 1150 yen for entry, no prior customers. The interior is clean with 2 tables x 4 seats. The chef, who resembles the Western-style painter Toshiji Fujita (active in the early 1900s), and a male sommelier who also serves as the waiter, make up a select team of 2. For lunch, there are 3 options ranging from 2000 to 5000 yen. I opted for the 3200 yen course with a 3500 yen wine pairing. The dishes served were: 1. Potage soup made with Kameoka-grown pumpkin 2. Marinated Kyoto-grown Chinese cabbage and Tottori crab tartare 3. Salad made with 30 types of vegetables 4. Sauteed sea bream from Ehime with spinach, endive, and leeks in a spinach sauce 5. Grilled Miyazaki venison and turnips 6. Pudding 7. Mille-feuille of pear and chestnut, with chocolate sorbet My impressions after tasting the dishes: - The overall cuisine is healthy and light, with a focus on vegetables. - Dish 3 seems to be a signature dish of the restaurant. The variety of sauces and spices for flavor enhancement is charming and elegant. - The unique spices used in the olive oil for the bread and dish 1 add an interesting accent to the flavors of the dishes. - Having two desserts at this price range is a big plus. - Dish 6 is also a signature dish of the restaurant, with a two-layered pudding and milk sauce. - Dish 7 is a mille-feuille of pear (grown only in Niigata) and chestnut cream. It may be a bit messy to eat with your hands, but it's a delightful experience. I finished my meal around 1:30, but due to some circumstances, I left at 2:00. One group of 3 remained.

Phone reservations have been rejected three times at this restaurant. However, on this particular day, when passing by the front of the restaurant, I decided to try my luck and peek inside. To my surprise, there were available seats. I quickly entered and asked, "We don't have a reservation, but can we have a table for two?" The staff kindly accommodated us at an empty table. We ordered the lunch course which included sweet potato soup, Kyoto cabbage and yellowtail tartare, a salad with 30 types of vegetables, roasted Ebiimo with balsamic sauce, Black Angus beef Hiyuchi, Tottori cod, bread from Pansanku-san, desserts like pudding and banana and chestnut mille-feuille with salt sorbet, coffee, and a non-alcoholic wine. The main course had an additional charge of 500 yen, but even with that, the course in the 2000 yen range was very cost-effective. Each dish was beautifully presented and had amazing flavors. The salad, made with 30 types of vegetables, was a specialty of the restaurant and truly showcased the deliciousness of salted Kyoto vegetables. The main meat dish was tender and juicy, cooked perfectly. The dessert, especially the pudding, was surprisingly delicious. Unfortunately, I was so excited that I forgot to take photos (*_*). The meal ended with the mille-feuille, which was a delightful surprise. I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited a Michelin recommended restaurant and was very impressed. The ingredients were fresh, only the best parts were used in the dishes, and the flavors were brought out to the maximum. Having eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants all over Japan, I have doubts about why this restaurant doesn't have a star. The deliciousness exceeds the price, and I definitely recommend it.

Today's lunch was at Deux Filles. The new cabbage soup was very warming. The olive oil served with the bread contains dukkah, which includes cumin, coriander, sesame, and hazelnuts. The daikon radish appetizer was prepared in three different ways: fresh, marinated, and pureed. The chicken breast was moist. The salad made with 30 different vegetables was like a flower garden, served with various sauces. For the main course, I chose the Black Angus beef hump, which was finished with shaved truffles. It was tender and flavorful. There were also two dessert options: a custard with vanilla cream on top and a refreshing compote of oranges. All of this for only 2000 yen (+500 yen for the truffles) was a great deal. It was a delicious meal with plenty of vegetables.
