I stayed here in June 2019 and used the morning buffet. The location is about a 5-minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station, and there are many stylish and reasonably priced restaurants in the office district, making it convenient. It is also easily accessible to Umeda, so it is a popular hotel. Unfortunately, the morning buffet was not great. Firstly, there was no salad. If you are promoting a healthy breakfast, salad is a must. When I asked, they said they had spaghetti salad instead, but spaghetti is a carbohydrate and not a salad. Just because it has green peas doesn't make it a salad. They served onigiri, miso soup, banana, hijiki seaweed, egg, tomato juice, orange juice, and coffee. Please add a salad to the breakfast. Vegetables are essential in the morning.

I started the long day by eating a lot of bread and rice balls in a Viking style buffet. I drank three glasses of orange juice.

I went to Osaka on a trip with the Seishun 18 ticket. The hotel I stayed at this time was "Toyoko Inn Yodoyabashi Station South". It is within walking distance from Shinchi. You can also walk from Minami if you try hard. Toyoko Inn is running a breakfast campaign, with each hotel coming up with their own ideas. In Yodoyabashi, they were promoting "daily onigiri". On this day, there were 4 types: bonito, kelp, mentaiko, and hijiki. I felt that the plates they used were small. I think it would be good if this could be improved.

This is a hotel located in the business district of Osaka. It is often used because of its good access to the city center. The bright and spacious first floor hall is impressive, and it serves as the breakfast venue. The breakfast menu included items such as onigiri, macaroni salad, boiled vegetables, and sausages. For someone like me who doesn't eat a lot for breakfast, it was a sufficient amount and I enjoyed the onigiri. I don't need a fancy breakfast buffet, so I am always satisfied with this kind of breakfast. It was delicious.

I stayed at a hotel when I went shopping in Osaka. My husband often uses Toyoko Inn when he goes on business trips. If you stay 10 times, you can stay for free once, although there are restrictions on room availability. This time, I used the free voucher. For breakfast, in the early hours, they only serve onigiri and coffee, but after a while, they also bring out sausages and egg salad. There may be a limited quantity because once they ran out, they didn't bring out anymore. I was able to choose from three different types of onigiri. The miso soup was also delicious. Although the options were limited, it was a satisfying breakfast. Thank you for the meal! (*^◯^*)

It is essential to eat a solid breakfast from the morning. This is a constant rule. I went down to the first floor before 6:30 am, but there was nothing there. I asked a high-averaged lady, and she told me that breakfast starts at 7 am. So, I went back around 7:00 am. There were about 20 people in line, and about 20 people already eating. I wondered what time they arrived. I started eating around 7:10 am, with a slight delay. I got two rice balls, spaghetti, meatballs, simmered hijiki seaweed, pickled vegetables, cucumber pickles, miso soup, and coffee. The taste was surprisingly good. The miso soup was warm and comforting. After eating, I took the coffee back to my room because there were still people waiting in line. The juice packaging looked like it was 100% juice. That's just an observation from afar. Thank you for the meal.

When I went to Osaka for business, I stayed at a hotel in a business district where salarymen walk around during weekdays. It's located near prestigious company headquarters and Osaka branches, just off the calm Midosuji street. The hotel was clean and I had a comfortable stay. The complimentary breakfast included onigiri, side dishes, salad, and miso soup, similar to what you would find at a Tokyu Inn in the city center. I'm not used to eating much in the morning, so I was satisfied with the meal. It was delicious.

This is the "Toyoko Inn" in Yodoyabashi, Osaka. The first floor has started offering more than just basic rice balls. You can now choose from a variety of side dishes like simmered dishes, salads, omelettes, and pickles. There was also bread available, so I couldn't resist taking some. For drinks, you can choose between coffee or tomato juice, and I particularly liked the thick, concentrated tomato juice here. Thank you for providing a satisfying meal this time. I hope they can find a way to alleviate the overcrowding issue. Allowing guests to bring food to their rooms would make it even better. Thank you for the meal!

(Prologue... First time using it in a while) This sudden trip to Osaka. I secured accommodation while traveling from Okayama to Osaka. I chose this Toyoko Inn as it is close to the office. It is located between Yodoyabashi and Hommachi. The location is good, and with the economy recovering and foreign guests, the breakfast area was crowded. We ended up eating in the conference room. The taste of the onigiri here remained the same. I had simmered dish and sausage. The seasoning is still Kansai-style, light-flavored. (Conclusion... Can't they do something about the country that throws eggs at the Japanese embassy?) The food is decent, but the dining etiquette of those people from that country... casually cutting in line... it's annoying. That's the only downside. It would be better to enforce some rules. Eating in the conference room was the right choice. ========== (Prologue... Regular hotel for business trips to Osaka) This hotel is my regular accommodation for business trips to Osaka. It is conveniently located between Yodoyabashi and Hommachi, the business center of Osaka. Since returning to work in Tokyo, I have used it about 10 times. As many of you may know, Toyoko Inn is great because breakfast is included. However, I recently noticed that breakfast services vary slightly depending on the location, even within the same hotel chain. I might introduce it sometime. The breakfast at this Toyoko Inn is basically onigiri and miso soup, but you can also have macaroni salad. As a fan of potato salad, I always end up taking more. Of course, I don't drink alcohol. (Conclusion... Basic breakfast at Toyoko Inn) The breakfast at this hotel is the basic menu of Toyoko Inn found throughout Japan. However, being in Kansai, it may feel overall bland to businessmen from Kanto. Some people only have miso soup or coffee. Perhaps they drank too much the night before.

The Yodoyabashi location of the Midosuji Line subway is very convenient for business, and the staff's customer service attitude is well-trained. The prices are reasonable, making it very user-friendly. Breakfast is similar to other Toyoko Inns, with onigiri, miso soup, and simple side dishes available in the first-floor lounge. The quality of the food is more than enough for a free meal. I remember enjoying a homemade potato salad during my stay, which was simple yet delicious.
