At the food court on the 3rd floor of LaLaport Izumi, I decided to try the famous ramen shop from Amagasaki, or rather, the famous shop from Kansai! First up, I got a bowl from "Ramen Specialist Wakai." LaLaport Izumi is in the midst of open fever, so be aware that on holidays, there may be a 2-hour wait for parking. Securing a seat in the food court can also be quite challenging, so please be careful. However, for ramen enthusiasts, this place is like heaven with shops like "Wakai," "Mitsuba," and "Tsujita" lined up one after another (laughs). There are also many popular shops besides ramen here. Arrival time: 12:20 PM Crowdedness: Line of 10 people Waiting time: 10 minutes All three shops had lines forming, but luckily Wakai had some space when I arrived. However, by the time I finished paying, there were over 20 people in line! Mitsuba, a well-known shop, had a line of about 50 people (surprising). I ordered the Marugidashi Ramen with Chicken and Seafood. Completion time: 5 minutes. Wakai's main shop and Wakai in Mukonosho are both famous for their delicious ramen, but how does this food court version compare? The space is open and spacious, so the aroma is more subdued than I expected. As expected from a shop that boasts of using whole chicken, there is a rich umami and depth in the soup that goes beyond just chicken broth. Despite being a salt ramen, the fragrant chicken oil adds an animalistic richness, while the seafood ties the flavors together beautifully. The soup is light yet has a roundness and depth, making it very delicious! The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles with a moderate firmness. They have a slightly chewy texture. The toppings include Wakai's signature car fu and tender chashu, among others. I vaguely remember, but perhaps the car fu here is different from the main shop or Mukonosho? Overall, even in a shopping mall setting and considering the target audience and the cooking process in a food court, it seems like the taste has been made more accessible to the general public compared to the main shop. Even at the food court, Wakai does not disappoint with a high-quality and delicious bowl of ramen! Thank you for the meal. Now, onto the next shop! (laughs)

This was my second visit, but I couldn't forget how delicious it was the first time I tried it! Personally, this ramen ranks among the top two in terms of salt ramen. It is a light seafood-based salt ramen with thin noodles, making it very easy to eat. I ordered the Chashu Salt Ramen, which has a lot of chashu. The chashu is also very delicious, thin but full of flavor, my favorite type of chashu! The seasoned egg is a topping, but the inside is very creamy. It's a ramen that makes you want to eat it again!

I couldn't visit the main store, so I visited this newly opened branch for the first time. I arrived around 12:30 on a weekday and surprisingly there was no wait. It's hard to believe there's no wait at a place like Wami-san. Maybe it's because it's in a food court... There was a well-known shop next door, but there was a bit of a line there. I paid at the food ticket machine and received a buzzer to wait for my order. I ordered the default salt ramen. Before long, the buzzer called me. As expected, it looked like Wami-san. The chashu seemed a bit different though... The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles, and the soup was a gentle seafood-based flavor. I personally wish they had some fish oil available... It was a place where you could easily enjoy Wami-san's food. Thank you for the meal!

I encountered Wami-san at the food court of Lalaport Izumi, but there was not a long line as I expected around 11:30 AM, so I was able to order after waiting for about 10 minutes. It is a typical food court style where you pick up your order when the buzzer rings. We ordered salt ramen, soy sauce ramen, and chicken white broth ramen, and shared each of them. The soup of all three was delicious!! Personally, I liked the chicken white broth the best as it was the most rich. The noodles were all the same thin noodles that matched well with the soup. I never knew that soaking the wheat gluten in the soup would taste this good. I came to the food court planning to have a casual lunch, but it turned out to be unexpectedly lucky. I recommend it to those who cannot easily go to the shop in Amagasaki. Thank you for the meal.

This year, I visited the famous ramen shop "Ra-men Senmon Wakai" located in the food court of the newly opened Lalaport Izumi store in Hyogo Prefecture. Surrounded by other top-notch restaurants like Mitsuba on the left and Tsujita on the right, it's a must-visit for foodies. This time, I ordered the Marugata Chicken and Seafood Soy Sauce Ramen. The soup had a strong seafood flavor that was refreshing, but the chicken flavor was not very prominent. The noodles were thin and decent, but the overall experience was a bit underwhelming considering the high expectations. I remember waiting in line for quite a while at the main branch of Kazeno in the past, and the chashu was incredibly delicious. It was a weekday at 11 o'clock, so I was able to eat without waiting at all, but I felt like the chashu wasn't as good as I remembered.

There is a Wami Seafood in the food court! It's really hot! It was quite crowded, but considering the lines at the main store, how is it? Since it's a food court, the noodles stretch a bit and aren't as hot, but still delicious! Thank you! It's also nice that they have limited edition ramen!

Marinated chicken and fish salt ramen for 1130 yen. Chicken chashu topping for 200 yen. Seasonal mixed rice for 400 yen. A powerhouse in the Kansai ramen scene. It's a bit difficult to get to Hyogo Prefecture, so I haven't visited the main store. The noodles, soup, and chashu are all high quality. The soup is a bit on the salty side. Overall, it gives off a pricey impression... This is actually my second visit. The first time, I didn't reserve a seat and it was packed, so I ended up eating my ramen while standing... Note to self: reserve a seat before ordering at the food court...φ(..)

The car-shaped wheat gluten was a fun touch, but I mistakenly ordered two extra toppings. The limited edition topping of flavored egg was disappointing, with a strong boiled egg taste. The chashu was quite rare. The seafood-flavored broth was rich and had a lingering intensity. The thin noodles paired well with the substantial weight of the noodles. After trying both, I definitely preferred the salt ramen over the soy sauce ramen! The car-shaped wheat gluten had a great appearance and soaked up the soup well, adding a flavorful presence with its excellent ingredients.

At the food court in Monzen LaLaport, there is a unique restaurant called Wami. They have a variety of interesting and uncommon dishes, although the prices are on the higher side. Their specialty is dishes with wheat gluten, which adds a unique texture. I especially enjoyed their soup, which is free from additives and has a rich flavor. It was refreshing and I finished the whole bowl.

I visited the newly opened "Lalaport Koshien" this year. The food court is well-equipped, but what's most exciting is that several famous Kansai restaurants have opened food court branches. One of them is "Ramen Specialty Wami Koshien Store," a popular shop with long lines in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture. Despite being torn between salt ramen, I ordered the "Maru Chicken Seafood Soy Sauce Ramen" for 930 yen. First, I took a sip of the soup. The rich soup is incredibly delicious, far beyond food court level. Then the noodles. The firm thin noodles go well with this soy sauce-based soup. The most eye-catching ingredient is the two pieces of wheat gluten. Since I have never been to the original "Wami" in Amagasaki, this ramen with wheat gluten is a first for me. The gluten absorbs the delicious soup, making it naturally tasty. The seasoned pork chashu also passes the taste test. I haven't been to the main store, so I can't compare, but I believe this ramen is of a high level, almost making you forget you're in a shopping mall food court (although the service and atmosphere are, of course, at a food court level). Forget that you're in a shopping mall food court and try the ramen at this shop at least once.

It was a shop that I was curious about. I ordered the seafood cold ramen for 1150 yen and the maru chicken seafood salt ramen for 930 yen (tax included). The seafood cold ramen was my first time at this shop, so it's best to try the normal dish, but during the hot weather, I couldn't resist the "cold" option. It had chicken thigh, breast, rare pork chashu, mitsuba, and myoga. The soup-soaked fried tofu was delicious. Squeezing lemon for a change in flavor. Despite being called cold, the noodles were lukewarm at some shops, but here, both the soup and noodles were properly chilled, very satisfying. My husband and son ordered the maru chicken seafood salt ramen, and I tried a little. It was also delicious, with the presence of fried tofu. I would like to visit the main store someday. The soup is a chicken-based seafood soy sauce soup. On a sunny weekday, I arrived at 11:50. There were about 15 people in line. It took about 15 minutes from lining up to receiving the bowl. As expected, it was fast, like a food court (laughs). I've been curious about the Lala Port Kadoma since it opened in April. I visited before lunchtime on a weekday to see if it had calmed down a bit. I tried the soy sauce that is not available at the Mukogawa main store. Now, onto the tasting - the umami of the chicken is amazing, and the sharpness and acidity of the soy sauce add depth to the flavor, making it light yet rich. The noodles are smooth on the surface, with a crispy texture and a good chewiness, allowing you to enjoy the texture in your mouth. The rare chashu is large and thin, moist, and juicy, with a meaty deliciousness that becomes more pronounced as it heats up. The dried wheat gluten was delicious after absorbing the soup. You can enjoy the seaweed by wrapping it around the noodles. The level of the food court has risen too much, it's amazing. I'm very satisfied. We arrived early on a sunny Monday during the rainy season, and luckily there was no line at the food court. I ordered the Marugoto Chicken and Seafood Salt Ramen for 930 yen. The ramen was delicious with rare chashu, sliced green onions, seaweed, and straight thin noodles in a slightly cloudy salt-based soup. It was quite flavorful and enjoyable. Thank you for the meal!

Salted Char siu ramen at the ramen shop on the 3rd floor of the food court. Personally, it's a bit salty, but the combination of seafood flavors makes it delicious. The Char siu is also delicious, and the ramen is well put together. They have successfully reproduced the taste of a famous shop in the food court, so it's not your typical food court meal. You don't have to wait for a seat, so you don't have to line up for a long time. It's worth stopping by Lalaport Koshien just to eat ramen.

I am "Noronori," who mainly goes around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. The second stop at Lalaport Izumi was at the food court on the 3rd floor. Oh! There are three noodle shops lined up. Ramen-ya Mitsuba, Ramen specialty shop Wami, and Tsujita. I couldn't decide, but I ended up choosing Wami because it was the least crowded. I ordered the seafood cold ramen. The soup was delicious, as expected from Wami! The thick soup and firm thin noodles were excellent. I added a little lemon halfway through for a change in flavor. I want to eat this again! It was delicious, and I finished it without getting tired. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the newly opened Lalaport Izumisano this spring for the first time. First, I headed to the food court to satisfy my hunger. There are three ramen shops, but surprisingly, there was almost no line at the popular shop called Wami from Hyogo. So, I had no hesitation in choosing it! You order using an automatic payment system at the ticket machine, which seemed a bit confusing for some customers who were struggling with it. I thought it would be better if the staff explained how to use it to improve the flow. When it was my turn, I quickly chose the salt ramen. I received a buzzer and was called in almost immediately. The taste was excellent, as expected. It was not the level of ramen you would expect at a food court, but the taste of a famous shop. I was surprised that this shop had the shortest line out of the three ramen shops. If there is no line here, then this is definitely the shop you should choose.

I visited the newly opened LaLaport for sightseeing and found out that there was a Waikai restaurant inside through the store guide. I had tried going to the Waikai restaurant near the Mukogawa River a few times before, but the long queues made me give up and go home. I arrived at the store at 11:00, an hour after it opened at 10:00. Although I had to wait in line, it was bearable as it was inside the food court. I was able to sit down and enjoy my Maru Chicken and Seafood Soy Sauce Ramen. It exceeded my expectations and I was very satisfied. I realized that you shouldn't underestimate modern food courts.

- Waiting Situation - I arrived at the restaurant on a holiday at 10:15 am! There were about 5 people waiting, and I waited for about 10 minutes until the buzzer rang. The neighboring Mitsuha had quite a long line as they don't use buzzers, but rather wait in line on the spot. - Order - I chose the "Maru Tori Seafood Salt Chashu Ramen" for 1130 yen! - Soup - The soup clearly brings out the umami of chicken and seafood. It's different from the original store's taste, with a tuning that seems to appeal to a wider audience. Either way, it far surpasses the level of a food court. - Noodles - The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. They have a good bite to them and go well with the soup. The noodles are also different from the original store, which makes sense since it's a food court and making homemade noodles would be difficult. - Chashu - I was surprised by the chashu! It's rare pork chashu, but you can still taste the rich pork flavor. The quality in this aspect is truly remarkable! - Overall - It was a high-level Japanese-style ramen! The level of this in a food court is truly impressive. I'll definitely come back for more next time. Thank you for the meal!
