I finally visited a rice ball shop that I had been curious about for a while. It's located in a narrow alley next to OCAT. I decided to go with rice balls instead of a set meal, and I chose plum and spicy cod roe fillings. The rice balls were freshly made in front of me, with a nice salty taste. The set meal also included fried chicken, rolled omelette, red sausage, and one fried shumai. It reminded me of the bento boxes my mom used to make for me when I was a student! I enjoyed the meal slowly and completely. I forgot to take a photo, but the miso soup with onions was also included, all for just 680 yen. Such a great deal!

Today, I challenged "Nagaya Sakaba Onigiri Sakura no Oto" for the third time. The place was quite lively with more customers. I had the Onigiri Lunch Set [sake + tuna] for 650 yen, which includes dashimaki, fried chicken, sausage, and fried dumplings. Each item was carefully savored. The miso soup, with tofu and eggplant, was particularly good and comforting. It was delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied. I will definitely visit again.

In the narrow streets of Motomachi in Naniwa Ward, there is a place called "Meiseiso" with many unique tenants. My favorite, "Isshin Teahouse," seems to have relocated. This place serves as an izakaya at night, but for lunch, they offer daily specials and various onigiri options. Inside, there is a counter with 7 seats on the right and two tables on the left. They have sake for 150 yen, mentaiko for 150 yen, and a set meal for 350 yen, which includes freshly fried karaage, wiener agemono, rolled omelet, miso soup, and pickles. The fluffy onigiri is filled with plenty of ingredients. Although it may be a bit hard to find, it's worth a visit to this hidden cultural spot. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.
