I have used the homemade family-style dishes at over 20 stores in Kansai, including Plico Kobe and Plico Rokko-michi. I love that you can choose brown rice or mixed grain rice in addition to white rice ❤️ I'm not a fan of the strong seasoning in store-bought side dishes, but I always enjoy the ones from Sanae-san. Delicious, safe, and healthy is their motto.

[Emil Takatsuki] On the second floor, a new store opened on November 20th, [Sakana Emil Takatsuki store], specializing in side dishes and bento boxes. The location used to be a shoe store. There is no eat-in area. The store is open from 10:00 to 21:00, closed on the same days as [Emil Takatsuki]. Their motto is "Delicious, safe, healthy, homemade, freshly made, and convenient, supporting customers' healthy eating habits." I visited in the evening around 6 o'clock. There was no sold-out items and the selection was good. Everything is pre-packaged, not self-packed. - Daily bento box ¥683. You can change to brown rice or mixed grain rice for about +¥50. I chose the main dish with grilled salmon. There were also other fried dishes. The salmon fillet was thick. There were various side dishes. On this day, after work, I decided to try out this bento shop that I had been wanting to visit, located on the 2nd floor of Emil Takatsuki, directly connected to Hankyu Takatsuki City Station. I purchased several side dishes, such as "stir-fried soybeans and dried small fish," which can be enjoyed with rice or as a side dish for alcohol, as well as sushi rolls, nikujaga (meat and potato stew), chicken karaage, and simmered eggplant. The seasoning was flavorful with a strong dashi taste. I was pleasantly surprised by the cellophane tape on the plastic bag that made it easy to peel off from any side. This shop is located in Emil Takatsuki, a facility below Takatsuki City Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. They offer a variety of side dishes, onigiri, and bento boxes in a buffet style. Currently, due to infection prevention measures, the food is sold in individual packs. The meatballs are outstanding. I usually buy them at Osaka Station, but it was closed so I visited this shop hoping for the same taste. I enjoyed them at home, and the meatballs and ketchup hamburg steak were just as delicious as always. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I had work in Takatsuki, so I got takeout from another store. The bento I got avoided fried chicken, so I felt like it might be a little lacking. I decided to buy some crispy croquettes from this deli next to the station. They were small croquettes priced at 70 yen each. It's not exactly a great deal, but it made for a nice side dish.

I met up with Darling and the next day I bought ingredients for Yu-chan's bento box at a shopping mall that Emiru likes. It was my first time at this mall. They had a variety of delicious Japanese-themed side dishes that I enjoyed.
