It's been a while since I had Indian food! I wanted to eat cheese naan so I went there! But I always reach my limit with two cheese naans, so I shared with my friend and had plain naan instead. I asked the staff for a recommendation and got chicken masala! It was mildly spicy, maybe a bit more spice would be good, but the level was just right for finishing the meal. It was delicious! Perfect for when you don't have much of an appetite in the summer!

No matter how many times I eat here, it's always delicious, so I'm grateful. I got a free Sudoku puzzle as a service for registering on LINE! It turned into a Naan festival! I couldn't finish it all, so I took some home. There are also many different types of curry and Naan, which makes me happy!

The restaurant had an Asian-themed decor and was about 40% full. I ordered the "Half Naan Lunch Set" which included two curry options - "Keema & Quail Egg" and "Spinach Dal Curry". Both curries were paste-like in consistency and had a good balance of flavors. I requested both curries to be spicy (level 6) but found them to be too hot. The only downside was the visible tape in some areas of the sofa seats, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Overall, the meal was good value for money, but I hope they improve the interior to enhance the dining experience.

It was a lunchtime special offer, so I didn't hesitate to order it, but by the time it arrived, I started feeling a bit full, and finishing everything was a bit of a struggle.

I had a meeting in Kurume for work today, and I was feeling hungry as usual. I decided to go for curry for lunch, hoping to find a good curry spot in Kurume. I chose Abashi, as it seemed promising. The recommended Lager "MVP51" had also visited the restaurant before. There were four groups of customers in the restaurant - families, couples, office ladies, and grandmothers with their grandchildren. The restaurant was spacious with over 10 tables for four people each. We were seated and served water promptly. I ordered the daily curry lunch set which came with a large naan, shrimp and potato curry, and green bean and lentil curry (spiciness level 3). The food was served in about 10 minutes. The banana lassi was a bit thin, but the naan was delicious. The curry had a nice shrimp flavor, and the lentils and green beans were well-balanced. The mini salad was standard. Overall, the food was satisfying and filled me up.

During a business trip, I randomly walked into an Indian curry restaurant called "Abashi"! It turned out to be a great find among curry restaurants! The atmosphere was like a Nepalese-run curry restaurant, but there were also Japanese staff members here and there. Upon researching online, I found out that the restaurant is actually a chain with a chef who trained in India and collaborated with Japanese staff to create the menu. Surprisingly, the customers were mostly in their 60s and 70s. Since it was lunchtime, I ordered the "Large Naan Lunch Set (with chicken and potatoes, lentils, and mushrooms) for 886 yen including tax. The "chicken and potato curry" was incredibly delicious. The spicy curry flavor was followed by the juicy taste of the chicken spreading in my mouth! Oh! This juiciness was a different sensation from other Indian curry restaurants. Perhaps this unique taste was born from Abashi's concept of collaboration between an Indian chef and Japanese staff, with a flavor that suits Japanese preferences. I really liked it! Of course, the "lentil and mushroom curry" was also delicious! Both curries were tasty without being too overpowering. It's a shame that this curry chain is only in Kyushu. If there was one nearby, I would definitely visit again!

I entered the restaurant a little after 1 pm on a holiday. About 80% of the seats were taken, with one group leaving as soon as another arrived, making it quite efficient. I ordered the Pork Curry Spicy (5x) with Naan for ¥989. The Naan was a bit fluffy, personally I prefer it a bit crispier. The curry, despite being 5 times spicy, lacked the expected heat. However, I could feel a slight sweat on my forehead, so it must have had a decent amount of spices. The portion of curry was generous compared to other places, allowing me to enjoy a few more spoonfuls even after finishing the Naan. Overall, it's a decently delicious restaurant without any standout features.

I saw a commercial and my child said they wanted to eat, so I came to this restaurant after a few years. I chose the chicken curry lunch plate, while I had plain naan. My husband and child had cheese naan. I ordered mine mild, and it was sweet but spicy and delicious! The naan was freshly baked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - so delicious! The daily special dish was also tasty! Everything was delicious and satisfying! Moreover, the service from the male staff was particularly fantastic! I don't know his name as he didn't have a name tag, but his attention to detail was great. Also, they have special offers on different days! On Wednesday, drinks were half price! Weekday lunches even come with free extra naan, so the cost performance is excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the meal ♡

Indian curry restaurants always have so many menu options that it can be overwhelming. Today, I ordered the daily lunch plate. The restaurant was busy as usual, even though it was a weekday. The curry was rich and delicious, and the staff mentioned that I could adjust the spiciness with extra spices, which I tried and enjoyed. The curry had minced meat at the bottom, which was a nice touch. The plain naan was simple and complemented the curry well. The spicy stir-fried sandfish and vegetables were cooked just right, not too spicy. The salad and lassi were also tasty additions. The staff, especially Shiotani-san, was friendly and made the lunch experience enjoyable. Shiotani-san recommended visiting on Wednesdays for the pork dish and Thursdays for the shrimp dish. It's been a while since I visited Ahachi! I used to frequent the main branch when I lived in Kasugahara. I decided to indulge in my favorite Ahachi Plate under the guise of carb loading, but I was intrigued by the special curry menu that caught my eye... So I ended up ordering the Chicken Tikka Butter Masala Set (limited to February) for the inter-store original curry menu competition. I chose Cheese Naan. I noticed that there are various types of Naan on the menu! (Were they always there? I didn't notice before, haha) I realized that the atmosphere of Ahachi varies slightly depending on the store. While thinking about this, the curry arrived!! It was as rich and flavorful as ever! The chunks of Chicken Tikka inside added a nice volume, and the paprika provided a good texture, complementing the mushrooms well. The Cheese Naan was delicious, although it used to be more elongated like in the posters of this store, but this time it was more "elongated" than "elongated" haha. The Tandoori Kebab was juicy and flavorful with a good spice blend. The Lassi was rich, and even came with ice cream for dessert! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I ordered the Cheese Naan lunch set (999 yen) that is featured in the commercial. You can choose between yellow and green curry, select ingredients like chicken, eggplant, and potatoes, and choose from various types of rice and naan, allowing you to enjoy different combinations even with the same menu. This time, I chose green curry with eggplant and potatoes, and of course, the cheese naan. The salad was average, and then came the main dish. The curry was not very spicy, leaning more towards the sweet side. The green curry had a thick, delicious consistency, and the eggplant and potatoes were probably deep-fried, which complemented the curry very well. I think eggplant and potatoes go well with green curry. The cheese naan was not as stretchy as in the commercial, but it was soft and went perfectly with the curry. I believe it would be even better with yellow curry. If you feel the dish needs more spice, there are spices available to adjust the level of spiciness, but be careful not to overdo it as it can get very spicy. One disappointing point was the Tandoori Chicken my companion ordered. It was overcooked, lacking juiciness, and didn't have much yogurt flavor. Overall, the dish tasted bland. However, I was impressed that they could provide such quality at this price despite being a chain restaurant.
