On a Sunday dinner, I ordered the original shrimp dashi monja for 1419 yen and the squid ink risotto for 1419 yen. The staff prepared them in cute shapes right in front of me and they were delicious. Both dishes had a strong shrimp flavor, especially the original shrimp dashi monja which tasted like a shrimp bisque and was very tasty. The squid ink dish was too dark to see clearly in the photo, but it was shaped like a rabbit. When paying, for each monja ordered, you can spin a gacha. I won a snack and a ¥1000 ticket for my next visit! There are many other unique monja dishes, so I would love to try them next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I tried it because it looked delicious, and it turned out to be monjayaki, which was delicious with a strong shrimp broth flavor! I really liked the taste and it made me want to go back again. I want to try more dishes and the appetizers also look delicious, so I definitely want to come back and try them.

I visited around 7:30 pm. It's a large restaurant with almost 80 seats, and it was nearly full. Most of the customers were young. They serve authentic monjayaki on hot plates at the tables. They also have other dishes cooked on hot plates, as well as kimchi and salad. They recommend the monjayaki made with shrimp broth, which over 80% of customers seem to order. I ordered the mentaiko mochi monja and grilled chikuwa because I found dealing with shrimp heads a hassle. The staff cooked the monjayaki for us, so even beginners can enjoy it. The taste is just as good as what you would find in Tokyo. The grilled chikuwa is a luxurious dish with plenty of butter. They also accept reservations, so I recommend making one.

I went to a monjayaki restaurant because I wasn't satisfied with just two dishes. I arrived around 9 pm and waited for about 30 minutes. The taste was delicious! The staff cooks the monjayaki for you, but it was a bit uncomfortable when they tried to make small talk even though there was nothing to talk about. It felt awkward to have them force a conversation. It would be fine if they just cooked quietly.笑

Ebisen in Tofu, located about a 3-minute walk from Temma Station, is famous for its original shrimp broth monjayaki! I visited on a weekday before 6pm. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very entertaining, and it was bustling with young people. I visited alone, but it was easy to enter as there is quite a distance between the counter and table seats. I ordered the Special Shrimp Broth Monjayaki (1749 yen). The colorful ingredients piled on the monjayaki plate made me excited. There was a video showing how to make it, but the staff made it for me since I was sitting at the counter. The ingredients included shrimp, mochi, scallops, cheese, and mentaiko, all very luxurious! As expected from a shrimp broth monjayaki, the shrimp flavor was prominent not only in appearance but also in the mouth. The taste was just shrimp, so delicious! This restaurant offers a variety of unique monjayaki dishes such as Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen Monjayaki, Squid Ink Risotto Monjayaki, and Quattro Formaggi Monjayaki with plenty of cheese, which you can only enjoy here. Each one looks tempting! Ordering a monjayaki dish with a drink will cost over 2000 yen, and eating alone may not leave you feeling very full, so it may seem a bit pricey in terms of cost performance. However, being able to taste unique monjayaki dishes that you can't find anywhere else is great. Also, being able to play a gachapon after ordering monjayaki adds a fun festival-like feeling to the experience. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this restaurant for the first time. It just opened in November, so the interior was clean and stylish. They have a wide range of menu options, from classic to unique ones, and I would like to try other okonomiyaki dishes on my next visit. When I asked the staff to choose a type of okonomiyaki for us, since we were all girls, the waiter cooked it in a heart shape for us. Impressive! They also have a variety of drinks and decent desserts, so we enjoyed our meal until the end. It was very delicious! ✨

I thought it would be a trendy neon-themed place, but the taste was unexpectedly delicious. I used to eat monjayaki often in Asakusa, but the shrimp dashi monjayaki here is addictive. The flavor is rich, making it perfect for drinking. When you look at the prices of individual items, you might not feel like it's cost-effective, but I was surprised that it only cost ¥2,600 per person even after eating a lot with a group. The female staff members were so friendly that my impression of the place went up significantly. Please keep the quality of the taste, service, and cleanliness as it is now!

I don't have many opportunities to eat Monjayaki since I live in Kansai, but it's a food I personally like. I went to a newly opened Monjayaki restaurant on November 30th. The restaurant is called "Original Ebi Dashi Monja Ebisen" and it's located near Hankyu Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Station and JR Temma Station, in a place known as Ura Temma. Since it was newly opened, the restaurant was very clean and the ordering process was done through scanning a QR code with a smartphone. We ordered the recommended dishes from the staff. The Tomato Kimchi was a unique dish with a combination of tomato and kimchi flavors. The Potato Salad with a large seasoned egg on top was satisfying. The signature dish, the Original Ebi Dashi Monja Special, was very flavorful and had a generous amount of ingredients including cheese, mochi, mentaiko, squid, baby scallops, and whole shrimp. The beef tendon stew was a light and tasty dish. The Avocado with a spicy sauce was delicious. The Korean seaweed pork kimchi Monja was simple but tasty, especially when topped with seaweed. The Italian Monja with camembert cheese, avocado, spinach, powdered cheese, and basil had a tomato-flavored broth and a generous amount of cheese. The Whitefish Garlic Butter was creamy and delicious. For dessert, we had the Oiri Float Caramel Hojicha Latte, which was served with a separate oiri to put on top. The vanilla soft serve with oiri was also delightful. The restaurant was already popular within a month of opening, and I look forward to trying more dishes in the future. At the end of our visit, we got a gachapon prize of a free Monjayaki coupon, so we will definitely be back for more. The restaurant's address is 6-6 Ikeda-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka, and their contact number is 050-5590-2733. They are open from Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Saturday from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM. They are closed during the New Year period (December 31st and January 1st).

I made a reservation after seeing the open sign that caught my attention! It was surprisingly empty for a Friday, maybe because it's not well known yet. I've been into monjayaki recently, but the monja here is a bit different. It has a delicious shrimp flavor but the texture is more watery. Maybe it's because the teppan is new, but it felt different from the usual monja. They had a lot of unique drinks! It has a bit of a younger vibe!

Recently, I had a sudden craving for Monjayaki, so I decided to visit a new restaurant in Temma. The atmosphere was stylish and I had high expectations. I ordered the shrimp dashi Monjayaki and was looking forward to trying it. I have been to many Monjayaki restaurants, but unfortunately, the main Monjayaki dish didn't quite suit my taste. It seemed like a place more suited for younger people. After an hour, I placed my first order and moved on to the next restaurant.

Located just a 3-minute walk from Tenma Station on the Osaka JR Loop Line, this monjayaki specialty store opened on November 30th and is already extremely popular! While specializing in monjayaki, they also offer a wide variety of teppanyaki dishes and side dishes. Perfect for solo dining, dates, or year-end parties! I tried the Original Shrimp Broth Monja SP for 1749 yen, Shirako Sichuan Mapo Tofu for 1045 yen, Oyster Garlic Butter for 1045 yen, Taiwanese Simmered Egg for 319 yen, and more. The monjayaki was delicious, but all the teppanyaki dishes and sides were also of high quality! It was extremely crowded on a Saturday afternoon from 3 to 4 pm, even though it had just opened recently! It's no wonder it's so popular when the food is this good. A great place to visit with friends in the winter! Highly recommended! Thank you for the delicious meal!

This "Ebisenn" is a restaurant that opened on November 30th. Since it is a monjayaki restaurant, I made a reservation and visited promptly. It is easy to find the restaurant as it is located along the main street where many eateries are lined up after exiting Temma Station. Ordering is straightforward. We ordered the original shrimp dashi monjayaki, drooling avocado, simmered beef tendon, shirako with garlic butter, and rolled omelette with crab tartar. There are many drink options available, which is enjoyable. The monjayaki lacked viscosity and was not sticky enough to press with chopsticks.

Located in Osaka Temma, there is the popular shop called "Ganso Ebi Dashi Monja no Ebisen"☑️ The original shrimp broth squid ink risotto for 1290 yen is my personal recommendation. When you melt the squid ink, you get a completely black monja! The richness of the squid ink and the ease of eating make it addictive♪ It's fun to customize and cook the hot monja right in front of you to your liking♪

The inside of the store is very clean, and there are bags for bags so you don't have to worry about odors! ✨✨ The restroom is on the second floor! The interior is also great, and the staff will cook the monjayaki for you ☺️
