It was planned to be a café, but it seems to have turned into this restaurant with the same address. They serve lunch during the day, but it turns into an izakaya at night. Inside the restaurant, we took off our shoes and put on slippers before sitting down. There were about 5 seats at the counter and tables with about 4, 4, and 2 seats. Since it's an izakaya, there were plenty of drinks lined up. Two women were running the place. The daily lunch special was shrimp fry and chicken tempura. I usually order a small portion of rice, but here it was served in a small teacup, which was like a small portion. They might also offer large portions. The shrimp fry was freshly fried and delicious. The chicken tempura was incredibly tender, almost like a texture of minced chicken. When it comes to chicken, there are often more chicken fry options, and occasionally tempura, but this tender chicken tempura was truly a first for me, with a texture similar to hanpen. The miso soup had wheat gluten in it, and the broth was flavorful and really delicious. The potato salad was lightly seasoned, so I thought it was homemade.
