As you get older, it takes time to accept new environments. When you are young, you can easily adapt to new surroundings without much thought, but as you age, you tend to cling to the past and struggle to move forward. The sandblasting at Foodway Koto store was good, the Sakura Itojima pork at Hello Day was good, and there were many Seven-Elevens in Niehama, but there are fewer in Shuheng, with more Lawsons and Family Marts. Noda Meat's meat was good, Makoto Udon's tempura was good, and China Kitchen's mapo tofu was good. It's pointless to talk about all that. Due to COVID, I couldn't eat out for 2 years, and to top it off, there was a cluster outbreak at work for a month. The wasted month in Fukuoka was significant. After moving to Kitakyushu for 2 months, I finally settled into the new life. These 2 months were honestly tough. I know Yawata Nishi-ku well, but Kokura Minami-ku was a fresh start from zero. I regretted choosing Yawata Nishi-ku so many times. I started night shifts, and now I can enjoy lunch after night shifts. And today, it's Yayoi-ken. I chose Shuheng because Hamakatsu, CoCo Ichi, Sanchi, McDonald's, Linga Hat, Yayoi-ken, Kentucky, Hotto Motto, Kura Sushi, Business Super, privately-owned shops, banks, convenience stores, drug stores, supermarkets, Komeda Coffee, Jolly Pasta, Mos Burger, and Mister Donut are all within walking distance. The toriten set meal. Yayoi-ken's toriten is insanely delicious! Once you break through the crispy coating, the meat juice overflows like a fountain. The refreshing sauce with yuzu goes perfectly with the toriten, making the rice disappear quickly. There was a toriten and dango soup set meal, but I don't need the dango soup! I just want the toriten. The toriten alone is enough for me. Originally, I couldn't eat inside the restaurant, so whether there was dango soup or not didn't matter, but now, the toriten set meal is finally here. No dango soup, just toriten. So happy~(^з^)-☆
