Salted cabbage pork bowl (550 yen) A bowl dish to finish off after drinking. It seems that a new menu item called salted cabbage pork bowl has appeared. I decided to buy a meal ticket for it. I ordered the salted cabbage pork bowl and miso soup. As the name suggests, it is a dish of stir-fried pork loin and cabbage seasoned with salt. The pork loin is a bit dry. The salt sauce is pretty standard. In this case, the set meal with grilled pork would be more cost-effective.

I walked straight on Sun Road from the west exit of Ishibashi Hankyu Takarazuka Main Line Station for about 30 meters. I couldn't see Yoshinoya or Sukiya, but there was Matsunoya on the right. I had trouble buying a meal ticket for the first time here. I selected a regular beef bowl for 380 yen and added pork miso soup for 100 yen, but I couldn't find the OK or Complete button. I asked a young man waiting behind me, and he told me to insert the money, so I managed to buy the meal ticket. When I sat at an empty seat, the staff brought a cup of tea and took my order. The food that was served shortly after was a small beef bowl and a large bowl of pork miso soup. The beef bowl was average in taste and portion, neither good nor bad. However, the pork miso soup was surprisingly satisfying. Just as rumored, it was piping hot and full of ingredients. It had pork, taro, ginger, lotus root, onion, carrot, tofu, and green onions. This pork miso soup was a great deal at only 100 yen for a limited time. It's normally priced at 190 yen. I even got 20 yen change from a one coin. This pork miso soup is definitely worth trying once. Thank you for the meal.

I had always wanted to try the original hamburger beef curry. The hamburger was big and the curry was mild and delicious.

There is a beef bowl restaurant near Hankyu Ishibashi Hankaidaibeku Station. The customer service is good. This time, I ordered the Chicken Curry with plenty of chicken for 590 yen. I paid with my PayPay balance and got a cashback of 118 yen. It came with miso soup. The chicken pieces were big and tender, but the flavor didn't seem to fully penetrate them, giving a bit of a bland taste.

I went on a business trip to Osaka. On this day, I had grilled beef rice bowl for 380 yen. It's beef grilled on top of rice. It was delicious, but considering the waiting time and price, maybe a regular beef bowl would be fine. Recently, I've been learning about affordable franchise restaurants from friends outside the prefecture. I used to think Matsuya was only known for beef bowls. They have various set meals, so my out-of-prefecture friend often goes there for a quick meal. One day, I had the pork belly grilled meat set meal for 550 yen. When I was in Kanto, I thought it was just okay, but for some reason, Matsuya in Osaka or Ehime feels quite nice... I wonder if the seasoning is different between Kanto and Kansai?

I didn't have much time for lunch, so I had a quick pork rice bowl (270 yen). Among the beef bowl chain stores, Matsuya is one that I often use because they stick to using no artificial seasonings and have a wide variety of menu items such as salad and curry. Matsuya refers to their dishes as "gyumeshi" instead of "gyudon." The pork rice bowl consists of thinly sliced pork, onions, sesame seeds for accent. The meat, sliced extremely thin, is soft and delicious. This is a convenient restaurant to visit when you're short on time and money.

This is a Matsuya located on the west side of Ishibashi Station. There is a McDonald's across the street and the crowd is mostly young students. The area in front of the store is always crowded with bicycles. The inside of the store is also always bustling, but the turnover is fast so you shouldn't have trouble finding a seat. It's a very ordinary Matsuya. It's convenient when you're short on money or feeling lazy to cook. It's also a good reminder when you lose on horse racing bets (laughs). I used to like the pork bowl, but it seems like it's been discontinued. It's a shame because as I've gotten older, I've started to find the pork more delicious.

It's convenient for when you want to eat quickly, as the food comes out fast after ordering at this beef bowl restaurant. The atmosphere is more suited for men dining alone, as most customers seem to eat quickly and leave. As a woman, I personally feel it may not be the best choice, but it could be fine for those who don't mind that kind of atmosphere. The taste is average, typical of Matsuya. The staff, likely students from the nearby university, provided decent and normal service.
