Today is a weekday, but I had the day off from work, so as a person with free time, I decided to wander around the Temma area from around 3 pm onwards. I had been curious about a standing bar called "Chutoro and Pig Feet" near Temma Station, so I decided to check it out. "Chutoro and Pig Feet" is a standing bar that has been open for six months, offering drinks and food at very affordable prices, and it has gained popularity for its delicious food. In the Temma area, there is a well-known affordable standing bar called "Standing and Drinking Shomin Temma Store," and "Chutoro and Pig Feet" seems to be equally popular with its affordable prices.
I visited the place around 3:30 pm, which was a bit of an odd time, but the place was quite lively. The entrance to the shop is downstairs, and when I opened the door, the staff asked me if I wanted to stand or sit, so I chose to stand and was directed to a counter on the right side of the back wall. The menu was posted on the wall, and I was surprised by the incredibly low prices. For example, draft beer (Asahi Super Dry) was 199 yen, Suntory Malts (large bottle) was 343 yen, highballs were 199 yen, and various dishes like pig feet stew, tuna sashimi, and steaks were all priced very affordably.
I ordered a Tris Highball for 199 yen and decided to order five dishes since I was quite hungry. The dishes I ordered were Tris Highball x2, Tuna Sashimi, Chicken Breast Sashimi, Taiwanese Fried Skewers, Oden Assorted Stew, and Half & Half Steak. The food was delicious, especially the Tuna Sashimi and Chicken Breast Sashimi, which were surprisingly good for the price. The Oden Assorted Stew was a bit bland, but considering the price, it was still a good deal. The Half & Half Steak, which included Sirloin Steak, Kinako Pork Steak, and Chicken Thigh Steak, was served on a hot iron plate and was a satisfying end to the meal. Overall, the combination of affordable prices and tasty food made "Chutoro and Pig Feet" a great find in the Temma area.
