On Sunday, after visiting the "Kyushu Travel Expo" at Fukuoka International Center with my family, we went to a restaurant that my youngest daughter, in 3rd grade, had been wanting to visit for 5 months. It was the KITTE Hakata store of "Ginza Lion". She had remembered the restaurant from when I drank beer from a boot glass, and had been saying she wanted to go to "that boot glass restaurant", but recently she started saying she wanted to go to "Ginza Lion" clearly. When we got there for lunch, everyone ordered hearty meals. My youngest daughter chose the "Kids Set" (880 yen tax included) because it came with ice cream, while my 6th grade daughter ordered the "Luxury Beef Stew Omelette Rice Set" (2288 yen tax included) because it included salad, soup, fried chicken, and crab cream croquette in addition to the beef stew with chunks of meat. My wife and I decided to share the Stir-Fried Spaghetti "Napolitan" (1100 yen tax included) and the Steak Curry (1980 yen tax included). The Napolitan was cooked on an iron plate and had a nice chewy texture with thick pasta noodles. The combination of steak and curry was surprisingly interesting, with the spicy European-style curry complementing the meat well. Lastly, we ordered the "Shrimp Chili Omelette" (1078 yen tax included), which had shrimp chili on top of a Spanish-style omelette with diced potatoes. The combination of the shrimp and omelette was surprisingly good, with the mildly spicy chili sauce enhancing the flavors. We also tried some beer, opting for a half-and-half of Yebisu and "Amber Yebisu Premium" instead of the boot glass this time. The lineup was new to us, but all the beers were delicious and we left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. We might come back again when there's another request to visit this place.

There are many types of beer, which are delicious. There are also other types of alcohol available. You can order quickly using the touchscreen, so there is no stress from waiting. The food goes well with beer, is cheap, and tasty. It is a good restaurant for beer lovers.

I had the impression that the lion fried chicken on the menu last time looked raw, so I had been avoiding the restaurant. However, today I enjoyed the shrimp chili for 840 yen at the founding festival, and there were also more menu options. I do hope they improve the fish & chips, as it was not great. The Amber Ebisu beer (medium size) for 979 yen was delicious as always. I also enjoyed the limited edition Lion Ale beer (medium size) for 858 yen with its unique flavor. It was nice to be able to compare it to the flagship shop. I ended up falling asleep on the bus ride back though...

It's red pasta♪ The 'Ginza Lion Beer Hall' is a beer hall that started in a beer hall and has been around for 123 years. They serve delicious beer in partnership with Sapporo. The purpose this time is red pasta! Yes, the 'Stir-fried Spaghetti Napolitan' is 990 yen including tax. The large serving is 1320 yen, but even for men, the regular size is enough to fill you up. The first thing you notice is the chewy thick noodles, about 2.5mm thick, with a slight firmness and a good texture. On top, there is a sunny-side-up egg, and the ingredients include red Vienna sausages, mushrooms, carrots, green peppers, and onions. The way the onions are cut and stir-fried is exquisite, and I like the softness. There is no acidity, but it has a rich flavor with ketchup. The noodles also go well with the sauce. By the way, this Napolitan is a lunch menu available from 11:00 to 15:00, so please check if you can have it at night. Located on the restaurant floor of Hakata Station KITTE. It was around 7 PM but we were able to get a table without waiting. The seat we were given had a fantastic view from the 9th floor by the window, and we were very satisfied. The beer had the perfect taste, as expected from Sapporo. The quality was truly delicious. No doubt about it. We got a 200 yen discount with a coupon on the beer tasting set, and both dishes paired well with the beer, filling our stomachs.

This is my first visit. The impression is that there are many Western-style lunch menus. Both the hamburger and the salad were delicious with flavors that everyone would enjoy. Most of all, the beer was delicious! I wanted to have another lunch beer, but I resisted. Next time, I would like to come in the evening to drink beer.

I was supposed to stop drinking alcohol on New Year's Day, but since I came to Hakata, I couldn't help but come to Ginza Lion KITTE Hakata store. Since I was here, I had to go for the Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label (hereinafter referred to as Black Draft) and garlic toast. There's no better combination than this. It's truly the best. I also ordered edamame and surprisingly, it was delicious. From now on, I'll stick to Black Draft, garlic toast, and edamame. As I looked at the menu again, the words "Perfect Black Label" caught my eye. I had to order it. In conclusion, just like Ebisu, nothing beats Black Draft! Men should stick to Sapporo Black Draft! There are other delicious beers like Perfect Black Label and Ebisu, but nothing compares to Black Draft. *This is just my personal opinion. To finish off, the ketchup on the Neapolitan pasta was slightly on the light side. Delicious. Be careful not to overeat!

I went during the afternoon on a holiday. The restaurant I wanted to go to had a long line, so I decided to go to Ginza Lion instead. I was seated at a booth, which was spacious with plenty of room to relax. However, the space between the table and chairs was a bit tight. The menu mainly consisted of meat dishes like hamburgers and steaks. I ordered the pork cutlet curry, while my companion ordered the hamburger. The staff's uniforms looked like traditional German or European costumes, which was quite cute. The food arrived quickly after we ordered. The curry wasn't very spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food may find it easy to eat.

On a holiday lunch at Hakata Station, I was looking for a meal with lots of rice instead of noodles. After wandering around KITTE 9-10 floors, I ended up at "Ginza Lion" on the 9th floor. I couldn't get a window seat, so I sat near the center. Despite being tempted by the Chicken Nanban and Ginger Pork lunch set for 900 yen, I ended up ordering the popular "Ginza Roast Beef Plate" for 1580 yen. It took quite a while for the food to arrive, even though there was a bit of a warning about the lunchtime rush. I had ordered a beer, which I finished before the food finally arrived, which was disappointing. The roast beef was a bit cold, and the gravy was lighter than expected, so overall, it was a bit disappointing for the price. Watching others, the Chicken Nanban and Ginger Pork lunches seemed to have good portions and were reasonably priced, so they seemed more satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Ginza Lion KITTE Hakata store! I went on the day when all draft beers were half price! Even when I'm traveling, I'll drink at Ginza Lion! I think Ginza Lion serves the most delicious draft beer in the world! Love beer ♥️

"Ginza Lion" is a beer restaurant that originated from the "Ebisu Beer Hall," which was the first beer hall in Japan opened in Ginza, Tokyo in 1899. The main store, known as "Beer Hall Lion Ginza 7-chome," opened in 1934 and has maintained its original interior design since then. The restaurant offers a unique beer pouring method called "one-time pour," where the foam is created while pouring the beer into a glass. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a medieval European church with glass mosaics and elegant decorations. The menu includes dishes like the Seafood Mix Fry, which consists of scallops, shrimp, and crab cream. The crispy coating, creamy tartar sauce, and tangy Worcestershire sauce make it a delightful dish. The restaurant's name traces back to the "Cafe Lion," which opened in 1911 in Ginza, inspired by a restaurant in London. Enjoying a meal at this historic and renowned restaurant is a truly blissful experience.

Located inside Hakata Station KITTE. The interior has a slightly retro feel, reminiscent of the Showa era. It's not shabby or dirty, but it has that kind of atmosphere. The appearance is just a simple fried chicken set meal, but it was quite delicious. I visited for lunch, but I heard the beer is delicious. I would like to visit at night.

The best part of traveling is drinking during the day! At Hakata KITTE, I had a gulp of Ebisu beer. The steak pilaf with rich flavor was delicious too. They have 7 types of draft beer in various sizes, all the menu items go perfectly with beer. I wanted to have a second drink with pizza, but I had to catch a flight afterwards, so I sadly settled the bill. (laughs)

I purchased a Shinkansen ticket at Marui's travel agency and found out there was a raffle. I moved to the food court where I won something decent. It was lunchtime, so I decided to try the baked curry since it looked good. I felt relieved knowing Lion is a nationwide chain. While waiting, I remembered eating roast beef in Akihabara. The baked curry arrived shortly after and it looked delicious! It was medium spicy with plenty of cheese. It was consistently delicious.

We happened to visit on August 4th, which happened to be half-price day for draft beer. As beer lovers, my husband and I were thrilled. We ordered dishes like marinated herring, Ginza roast beef, spare ribs, Neapolitan pasta, pretzel, garlic sautéed potatoes with sausage, and smoked salmon. As a family of three, we ate to our heart's content and enjoyed the half-price draft beer deal, which saved us a lot of money. We had visited the store in Ginza 7-chome in winter, and this time, the marinated herring, garlic sautéed potatoes with sausage, and Neapolitan pasta we ordered were consistently delicious. The only complaint is that while the KITTE store has a new and clean atmosphere, you can't expect the same level of sophistication as the store in Ginza 7-chome. That's only natural, though!笑.

Do you know the drama "Nanato Natsu Monogatari" from over 30 years ago? In the first episode, there is a scene where the characters have a mixer, and the way they drink from the small boot-shaped glass reveals their personalities. The correct way to drink from a boot glass is with the toe facing down to prevent beer from overflowing. This unique glass is not commonly found nowadays, but you can enjoy drinking beer from it at this restaurant. It's a great place to relax in the evening or while waiting for the Shinkansen. Additionally, they have a special event where you can win a free beer with a lucky draw. I won one and gave it to my niece as a gift!

Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Hakata-ku, Hakata Station Central Street 9-1 KITTE Hakata 9F. Located in the Hakata Marui building on the left side of Hakata Station Hakata Exit. I visited this place because there was an event going on and the spring weather was inviting. It was still early, so I decided to grab a bite to eat here. There were many options to choose from, but since the weather was getting warmer, I was looking for a place with good beer. That's when I discovered there was a Ginza Lion here. I didn't hesitate to go in. I ordered the Sapporo Ace for 750 yen, which is a craft beer. I'm not a big fan of ale beers, but I decided to give it a try. And it was delicious - refreshing with hints of hops and lemongrass. It truly captured the essence of Furano's rich flavors. Even though I usually don't enjoy ale beers, I was able to appreciate this one. I also ordered the Fish & Chips for 750 yen as a light snack to go with my beer. The menu had a variety of options, but I wanted something simple. The tartar sauce, ketchup, lemon, and three different sauces that came with it were a nice touch. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience at Sapporo Ace. The IPA beer was a bit strong for me to gulp down, but the first sip was vibrant and tasty. It was a perfect match for the spring weather. I will definitely come back again.

I went to Ginza Lion KITTE Hakata store located at 9-1 Hakataeki Chuogai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, 9th floor for lunch. I felt like having a beer here, haha. I ordered the roast beef plate (*^^*) The meat was tender and delicious. I hope to visit Ginza Lion 7-chome someday. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a company drinking party. I knew there was one at Haneda Airport, but it was my first time going there.
- Carpaccio
First up is the carpaccio. In izakaya-style places, it's common to start with a daikon salad, but carpaccio adds a touch of elegance.
- Sausage Assortment
This dish has a beer hall vibe. It's no surprise that a place confident in its beer would have dishes like this as the main attraction. Personally, I like the trio of sausages.
- Mussels
These were delicious. And the amount was quite generous. By this point, many of the others were already drunk, but I managed to enjoy it moderately.
- Steak
I didn't expect a hearty steak to be served. It wasn't Wagyu, but surprisingly delicious. And visually impactful.
- Overall Impression
With a large group, you can enjoy a secluded room-like atmosphere, which adds a nice private room feel to it.

On July 19, 2018, Mr. N attended a training session in Hakata. Since I had the day off, I accompanied him. It had been a long time since I visited Hakata. After parting ways with Mr. N, I went to Canal City alone. I passed the time and then headed to KITTE Hakata for our meeting spot. The building that used to be the Hakata Post Office has been transformed into a very stylish complex. There are so many dining options! We decided to have a light drink at Ginza Lion. It was still early, so it was just the two of us. It's a spacious beer hall. We ordered the "Beer Hall Appetizer Set" for 1000 yen. The appetizer plate included marinated herring, smoked salmon, octopus carpaccio, sauerkraut, and cream cheese. It was perfect for beer snacks! The Sapporo draft beer was delicious. The second drink was a stout beer, which was also tasty. Mr. N wanted to go to another place for our second stop, so we ended our visit there.

During a visit to "Ginza Lion KITTE Hakata" with friends in mid-March 2018, I couldn't help but think, "This isn't Ginza, it's Hakata." We had beer, roast beef, and marinated herring, all of which were delicious. We tried different types of beer like Edelpils and Ebisu. The only downside was that the restaurant was non-smoking, which was a bit tough.
