I tried their soft serve ice cream, cappuccino, and a mix of cappuccino and vanilla in a cup. The cappuccino had an authentic taste with a mild sweetness, which I found quite enjoyable.

I decided to take a break at this shop nearby because my JAL flight to Tokyo was about 25 minutes late and the waiting area was crowded with people. They had light croissant sandwiches, but I was there for the soft serve ice cream. I realized I hadn't had soft serve ice cream since coming to Hokkaido. The soft serve ice cream cost 385 yen for a cappuccino and vanilla mix in a cone. If you eat inside the shop, it's 385 yen, but if you take it to go, it's 378 yen. Kind of a strange tax system when you think about it. The soft serve ice cream was, well, just normal. It was quite delicious. I really wanted to have a Sapporo Classic beer, but I had to drive from Haneda so I refrained. I'm heading back to Tokyo now.

After arriving at Narita, I moved to gate 18 to buy a voucher from the vending machine for the Keisei Skyliner I will take. Buying here costs 2,300 yen. Buying directly at Narita costs 2,570 yen, slightly more expensive. Since all seats are reserved, I need to exchange the voucher for a seat ticket after arriving at Narita, but it saves the hassle of payment and is cheaper.

I ordered a Sapporo Classic beer for 550 yen at the counter. Since I already had lunch, I skipped the croissant sandwich and fried potatoes. But I was curious about trying the fried potatoes made with Matilda potatoes. Matilda potatoes are often used in soups like soup curry in Hokkaido, so it would have been interesting to try them as fried potatoes. The beer was poured right after I ordered at the counter. It was served in a beer glass with good foam and the glass was nicely chilled, giving a refreshing feeling. The glass size was around 350ml, and the beer tasted delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I finished the security check at New Chitose Airport, but I still have about an hour until boarding time, so I chose this place for my last meal in Hokkaido. I enjoyed Kinako soft serve ice cream before boarding the plane. There was a bear-shaped monaka with a warabi mochi sitting on it. Is it correct for the bear to have its front legs crossed? Haha The Kinako flavor was delicious, so all is well.

I used the power outlet for my laptop work before my meal and coffee. It was nice to sit at the counter and take a break while working slowly. I felt like having a hot coffee, but considering the temperature at my destination, I decided to go for an iced latte for a change. The milk was quite sweet, but I felt it would be good for my tired mind. I didn't really sense the coffee atmosphere, but maybe my taste buds are dull due to overeating and fatigue. In the 2022 JGC Series 73, I moved from Sapporo to New Chitose and made three round trips in Tohoku in one day. Today is the final boarding day. Overall, it was a typical airport experience, but I ended up changing my opinion and found it satisfactory.

I bought coffee at a shop in the departure lobby of New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. The journey began with a coffee purchased at the departure lobby of Centrair. And to end it, I also had coffee. Drinking warm coffee makes me feel relieved. The coffee I enjoy while reminiscing about the fun trip is truly special.
