I stopped by after seeing the lunch menu on my way. The restaurant is located in the Duke's Hotel and it is spacious. It was past 1 pm, so it was not crowded. There are several lunch menu options, but I went with the recommended one for today: "Milfeuille cutlet with tomato sauce (800 yen including tax with coffee)." It was served in about 5 minutes. The Milfeuille cutlet was cut into 3 pieces, accompanied by shredded cabbage, potato fries, and store-bought potato salad. The taste of the cutlet and tomato sauce was average. It was nice to have coffee after the meal. The quality of the rice was average. The miso soup was also included with coffee for 800 yen, so I can't complain, but I wish the main dish had a bit more volume. The service was fast, so it might be good for a business lunch.

Starting the day with a morning tour, even though it's just a short break. We visited the restaurant on the first floor of Hotel Duke, located very close to Hakata Station, for a morning meal starting at 6:30. Even non-staying guests are welcome. The light Western morning set costs only 770 yen, which is quite affordable for a hotel. It may be hard to tell from the photo, but there is a huge amount of cabbage under the fried egg! This alone might fill you up? The coffee has a refreshing taste, served in a classic style. The 2.5 cm thick toast was fluffy yet had a good bite to it, and it was delicious. I asked on my way out which bread they used, and it turns out it's from a commercial bakery in Osaka. Hmm, I wonder which one? ^^)

Visited Procatchi Hakata store on July 3, 2019. Located on the first floor of the Duke Hotel, straight ahead from Hakata Station. Saw a menu item that caught my interest - the steak lunch at less than 980 yen including a small dessert and coffee. The steak lunch was satisfying with miso soup, vegetable salad, and a good portion of steak with sides like potatoes, broccoli, and carrots. The small dessert of warabi mochi and coffee at the end added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Satisfied with the lunch experience.
