After drinking in the area near Higashiyoko-borigawa, head over to Bar Breath Kitahama, where the fried horse mackerel is delicious and the charming female owner runs the place. The bar is compact, with seating for about 5 or 6 people. Enjoy a nice whiskey and a highball, while indulging in the horse mackerel fried by the owner. On this particular day, a group of new female employees also joined in as guests, making for a lively late-night conversation. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant was featured in Meets Regional March 2017 issue as a place with only about 20 senior ambassadors of Taketsuru, including a beautiful bartender. After leaving Sakane-da, the rain intensified, so I took shelter here for a while. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a building where the restaurant used to be before moving to the 3rd floor. There is also a sushi restaurant, KOTORI, on the 1st floor. The interior of the restaurant is small with 5 counter seats and temporary seats set up on the wall side of the counter. The owner is a Taketsuru senior ambassador, so I ordered a Taketsuru whiskey. The atmosphere was filled with regular customers, and I tried a "connoisseur cocktail" and a Motz Clamato Tomato Cocktail. The rain subsided, so I decided to leave. The bill came to 2,700 yen. Next time, I would like to have a leisurely chat with the owner about alcohol.
