There are live performances, plenty of seating, and a large restaurant. The food is authentic and incredibly delicious! Conveniently located in the Higashi-dori Shopping Street in Umeda. You just have to go there! This time, I tried the "Okinawan Course + 90-minute all-you-can-drink" with an additional 500 yen for a side dish of sea grapes, island pickles, and mimigar. The total cost was 4,330 yen. The side dishes were refreshing and increased my appetite. The island tofu salad was just the beginning. The star of the show was definitely the Rafute (braised pork belly)! It was so tender that it fell apart with just chopsticks. I was in heaven! The fried dishes included Gourkun (Okinawa's prefectural fish) and mozuku tempura. The mozuku tempura was more popular than the Gourkun. Okinawa is definitely more famous for its pork dishes than its fish. The mozuku tempura was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, I wanted more! The Goya Champuru is a classic Okinawan dish that needs no explanation. The bitter melon was thinly sliced and had a fresh crunchiness. The peanut tofu was amazing! The tofu was rich and creamy, melting in my mouth. A must-try dish! The taco rice wasn't too spicy, so it was suitable for everyone. I personally wished there was more minced meat and more vegetables like lettuce. The Soki Soba (Okinawan soba) with Rafute was a separate stomach situation. We all started slurping the noodles without a word, and then exclaimed in unison about how delicious the soup was. The Fu Champuru came out when everyone was already full, but we managed to enjoy it. Finally, a fruit platter for dessert was a refreshing end to the meal. The live music was in the background as we were in a semi-private area, but it seems like it's more lively when popular singers perform. I definitely want to come back for that. It's rare to find a large izakaya with such delicious food. I'll definitely use this for our office welcome and farewell parties. I'm so glad I discovered this great restaurant!

The location is Umeda. At the end of the east street, there is an Okinawan restaurant called "Todorokiya." I have used this place for a nomihoudai (all-you-can-drink) party in the past. It's a reasonable place where you can also have nomihoudai with courses. This time, we ordered items individually. We started with Orion beer and then moved on to awamori. Awamori really gets you drunk... but since it's shochu, it doesn't leave you with a hangover the next day, which is nice. We ordered various dishes casually. The omurice-like dish that someone from Okinawa ordered was surprisingly delicious. Other dishes were consistently tasty. The bill came out to around 5,000 yen per person for a moderate amount of food and drinks. It's recommended for when you want to enjoy Okinawan cuisine at a reasonable price. They also offer nomihoudai with courses, so it's good for parties too!

I went there for the first time. I enjoyed various Okinawan dishes. The speed at which the dishes came out was impressive, haha. Makes me want to go to Okinawa. I had Rafute, Goya Champuru, Goya Chanpuru, Zucchini Fried Rice, Seaweed Tempura, and Sea Grapes, among others.

Simple yet delicious, and cozy atmosphere. I wish I could have seen a live performance. I tried various dishes and they were all tasty. Sometimes I crave Okinawan cuisine. What a pleasant experience. It makes me want to visit Okinawa again. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back.

Finally, the opportunity arrived. The business partner who came from the east not only worked well together but also had a very close personal connection. When it was decided that they would be heading west, a request for guidance on things to do in the west promptly arrived. However, it was difficult to find a time to meet, and finally, a dinner opportunity arose. The restaurant was recommended by an acquaintance, and the area around Higashi-dori was new and fresh as I had never visited it at night. It was a Okinawan cuisine restaurant, which reminded me of the perfect tour we went on together in Ishigaki. On the day of the dinner, I arrived almost on time to the restaurant located at the end of the Higashi-dori shopping street arcade, easily recognizable by its Okinawan appearance. Upon entering the restaurant, I was led to a spacious area that felt like a beer garden with a stage, indicating that they might have live performances or dances. I waited for my acquaintance who arrived shortly after. The menu was extensive with a variety of drinks and dishes to choose from. I started with an Orion beer, which was refreshing and easy to drink. We ordered several dishes including Goya champuru, Rafute, Island rakkyo, and Mozuku vinegar, and later discovered my favorite sea grapes and added that to the order. The dishes arrived promptly, and we enjoyed the delicious Okinawan cuisine. The flavors were relatively mild and sophisticated. As we enjoyed our meal, we shared memories and caught up on recent events. We moved on to awamori for the second round, trying different types at reasonable prices. I chose the Shikwasa from Ishigaki Island, which was strong but went well with the lively atmosphere and we kept ordering more. Before we knew it, it was almost 11:00 PM. Time flies when you're having a good time... We promised to meet again and headed back home on our separate ways.

We visited this Okinawan izakaya, Goya, for a year-end party. Located on the right side before the exit on the Oimachi side of the Hankyu Higashi-dori Shotengai, the restaurant is spacious and can accommodate large groups. We sat in a semi-private room and enjoyed the Goya course, which is filled with Okinawan dishes, for 3,500 yen with a coupon. The meal included various Okinawan dishes like goya champuru, rafute, and sooki soba, all of which were delicious. The live performance in the main room added to the lively atmosphere, and the young male and female staff were attentive and quick to respond to our orders. Overall, it was a great experience that allowed us to enjoy the Okinawan vibe in Osaka. Highly recommended for group gatherings.

Osaka Night, after two days of entertaining guests, today we had a meeting and drinks in the office. I was unsure of what to do, but then I remembered hearing from my subordinate about a recent experience of being taken to a Okinawan restaurant for lunch by a customer. I realized that I haven't had Okinawan food in a while, so I made a reservation at a place called "Goya -Gouya-". As I was on my way to the restaurant, I suddenly realized the meaning behind the name... Goya (bitter melon).... I see... haha
- Seared bonito carpaccio with coriander sauce
- Tofu and avocado salad with wasabi mayonnaise
- Goya champuru with spam
- Beef cut steak with potatoes and homemade grated sauce
- Cheese-filled taco rice
- Okinawa Blue Seal sherbet (shikuwasa flavor)
Overall, the dishes were delicious, with the bonito being tender and melting in the mouth, and the salad being refreshing with a ponzu dressing. The steak was a bit tough to chew, but the flavor was great. The taco rice was tasty with a good balance of tomato sauce and lettuce. The sherbet was ordinary, not particularly standing out as Blue Seal. The only downside was the noisy environment due to the live house next door, making it difficult to have a conversation. However, it could be a fun place for a lively gathering with young colleagues.

The inside of the restaurant was surprisingly spacious, with each table separated and creating a semi-private atmosphere which made it comfortable to dine in. There was a room for live performances, and I was surprised when the live show started as I wasn't aware of it beforehand (lol). The variety of dishes and drinks was quite extensive. However, the So-min Champloo noodles seemed overcooked or microwaved without being stir-fried, as the noodles were too soggy and the dish was too oily... I'm not sure if it's like this every time since it was my first visit.

There is no boring restaurant that hosts live performances. It's great to be able to drink while shouting and eating, and the all-you-can-drink option with Asahi beer is excellent.

I used it for a farewell party for my colleagues at work! We made a reservation for Wednesday at 20:30! There were 11 of us! We went for the Hot Pepper member-exclusive course, which was only 3500 yen with 5 times the points! It's so cheap and such a great deal! It's the season for welcome and farewell parties, but since it was a weekday, we practically had the place to ourselves! I've used this place for company parties and group dates before, and the Okinawan food is delicious, plus they have live performances which are so fun. I love this place! They even did a live performance just for us on this day and gave a special message to the person leaving! The 3-hour all-you-can-drink option was great, and the food was plentiful - salad, meat, potatoes, taco rice, the works! All for just 3500 yen per person, it's really a steal! We even surprised the course dessert with a cake with a message on it! It was a great farewell party! One thing to note is that we made a few changes to the number of people and the time, but some of them weren't updated...haha. It's better to confirm the details the day before from your end for peace of mind! Haha.

There are plenty of Okinawan restaurants in Kansai, but this one could easily be in the top three. The food is delicious and they have a wide variety of drinks. If you catch a live performance during your visit, it almost feels like you're dining in Okinawa. This restaurant is truly outstanding, with no complaints at all.

I was able to enjoy the bitter melon stir-fry, which is usually not my favorite, here. The soba noodles were also delicious.
