I used Go to Travel and visited Hokkaido for the first time in 4 years! Last time, I visited Otaru, Asahikawa, and Furano for sightseeing, but this time I focused on a leisurely gourmet trip in Sapporo. When I arrived at New Chitose Airport, it was already a treasure trove of Hokkaido gourmet food! Popular shops from various places are gathered tightly, so you can enjoy delicious food from the moment you arrive. I had the 3-color seafood bowl, a Hakodate specialty, at Ajidokoro Kikuyo Shokudo New Chitose Airport store, and for the second stop, I chose Hanabatake Bokujo Raclette Cheese Specialty Store New Chitose Airport store. They offer a menu where they pour hot and gooey raclette cheese over vegetables, sausages, pasta, or curry. When you enter, the staff sprays alcohol disinfectant on your hands and the seating arrangements are properly spaced out. The glass doors facing the aisle are also left open, allowing air to flow, providing a sense of security. The menu is specialized in cheese, as expected from Hanabatake Bokujo, with a variety of raclette cheese dishes. The raclette menu includes raclette cheese topping for 1,280 yen, raclette cheese curry for 1,280 yen, and raclette cheese pasta for 1,480 yen. They also have pasta dishes like fresh mozzarella and bacon tomato pasta for 1,280 yen, and pizza menu items for 1,300 yen each. I ordered the raclette cheese topping since I had just eaten a seafood bowl. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes, served in a hot pot with the cheese bubbling and making a delicious sound. The dish was covered with a generous amount of raclette cheese, hiding chunks of potatoes, bacon, sausages, and broccoli. I first tried the potatoes with cheese, and it was sweet and delicious. The raclette cheese was rich and flavorful, with a strong saltiness and aroma. The homemade sausages were juicy and flavorful, while the homemade bacon was smoky and had a punchy taste. The broccoli provided a light and refreshing contrast. Overall, the dish was very filling and satisfying.
