On the 10th stop of the Osaka shaved ice tour, after enjoying delicious meat at "Okazu to Steak," we headed to a nearby takoyaki shop called "Enishi" to buy some takoyaki. In addition to takoyaki, they also sell okonomiyaki and yakisoba, but we only bought takoyaki. The takoyaki comes in flavors like sauce, soy sauce, salt, and plum salt, with 8 pieces for 400 yen or 12 pieces for 600 yen. We chose the plum salt flavor with 8 pieces. Although there was seating inside the shop, it looked cramped so we decided to enjoy our takoyaki at a nearby park. The takoyaki had a soft exterior and a hot, gooey interior. The subtle flavor of plum salt gave it a simple and delicious taste. It was quite enjoyable. Although we deviated a bit from the meat and shaved ice theme, as it was getting late, we made a course correction and headed to the next shop in search of the last shaved ice of the day.

I was looking for a takoyaki shop with shaved ice but ended up at the wrong place. Oh well, it must be fate, so I'll try the 8-piece takoyaki for 400 yen. The shop is small but they have seating, but it looked like they were closing so I decided to eat at a nearby park instead. They had plum salt flavor which seemed unique, so I tried that with bonito flakes and seaweed instead of mayonnaise for a light taste. I didn't realize they were reheated, so when I bit into them, the gooey takoyaki attacked my mouth! But it was delicious! The subtle plum salt, the gooey bonito flakes, it's true that even randomly bought takoyaki in Osaka is delicious! Thank you for the meal♪

I used takeout service before 7 pm on a regular day. There were no other customers. I ordered octopus balls with 8 pieces to eat at a nearby park. The options for flavors were sauce, soy sauce, salt, and plum salt. I chose the unique plum salt flavor. I asked for toppings of bonito flakes and seaweed without mayonnaise. The octopus balls were not freshly cooked, so the surface was soft overall. The inside was hot and gooey, almost burning hot! The plum salt flavor was refreshing and quite delicious. Osaka's culture of flour-based snacks really shows, even in a random octopus ball shop like this one.

It's primarily a takeout place, but there is seating in the back where you can sit and eat. When I went around 2pm on a weekday, there was an elderly lady enjoying her meal. You can choose from 4 seasoning options: sauce, soy sauce, salt, or plum salt? You also get to choose whether to add mayonnaise, and it's topped with bonito flakes. This time, I chose salt, no mayonnaise, and bonito flakes for seasoning. 8 pieces for 350 yen, and the filling was very soft and delicious, especially for someone from the Kanto region like myself. The location is a bit far from the Tenjinbashi shopping street, towards the east across a major street, in a shopping street known for drinking establishments in Temma (there is a shop run by an elderly lady where you can get 8 pieces for 250 yen). I stumbled upon this place while visiting Inada Sake Shop.
