Naruto Taiyaki Honpo in Kokura also offers natural taiyaki. I compared the taste of the natural taiyaki in Tenjin and Kokura! Unfortunately, the premium custard I bought at the Kokura store was temporarily out of stock due to a shortage of eggs. It doesn't matter which one you choose. There is no difference. The red bean paste inside the natural taiyaki is densely packed from head to tail. The thin crust is crispy due to the re-baking effect. It's delicious. Next stop, the Kokura store. Naruto, a mysterious place that only accepts au PAY.

I stopped by in Tenjin, Fukuoka because I was feeling a little hungry. I bought a red bean taiyaki made with Tokachi beans for 280 yen and received it right away. It's a shop at the entrance of the Shintencho shopping street, so whenever I stroll around Tenjin, I always noticed it. I just found out this time that there is a small entrance on the right side of the shop, which leads to a small eat-in corner. I guess I don't see people eating taiyaki while walking because of this eat-in corner. The taiyaki had a firm skin with hot and moderately sweet red bean paste inside, and it was delicious.

I felt a little hungry, so I decided to have a taiyaki! I was torn between choosing azuki or sweet potato, but I ultimately went with the classic azuki. It was a bit pricey at 280 yen each! It seemed like they were already prepared as they were served to me. The sweet potato taiyaki seemed to be freshly made... The size was normal, with chunky red bean paste inside. The texture of the red bean paste was not very chunky, and it was quite sweet. Personally, I prefer it to be a bit more chunky. The red bean paste even had the tail included! However, since the taiyaki was on the thinner side, it didn't feel like there was too much red bean paste. The outer shell was crispy. It was delicious. Although the taste was good, considering the price, I would give it a 3.2 rating.

Fukuoka: A shop located in Tenjin, Chuo-ku. "Natural Taiyaki Naruto Taiyaki Honpo Fukuoka Tenjin Store." After dinner, I was lured by a sweet scent and ordered the Premium Custard for 300 yen and the Naruto Kintoki Sweet Potato for 280 yen. The custard was very sweet! Not overly sweet, just the right amount of sweetness that I like! The dough was thin, crispy, and chewy, very delicious. Also, it was my first time trying the Naruto Kintoki Sweet Potato Taiyaki! The dough of the taiyaki is always delicious, and it goes well with the sweet potato. Naruto Kintoki sweet potatoes are harvested from early July to late September, but they are best enjoyed from January to March when they are aged and the sweetness increases. Sometimes we have it on the dining table, and the custard sells out quickly. When I come back from club activities, there is a high chance of white bean paste. Now, I can eat only the flavors I like.

I collaborated with my favorite VTuber until mid-March and did some fan activities. VTubers have been gaining attention recently, such as when the collaboration with the VTuber from Mie Prefecture's Shima Spain Village led to a huge increase in visitors. Their influence is incredible! When I visited the restaurant around 10:30, there was already a long line, even though the restaurant opens at 10:00. It's amazing how dedicated fans can be! I waited in line for about 40 minutes and bought the collaboration taiyaki with sakura bean paste and Naruto sweet potato. The taiyaki, which I have wanted to try several times, has a thin crispy skin and a filling that is packed inside. The sakura bean paste had a nice cherry blossom flavor like sakura mochi, but it was a bit too sweet for me. The Naruto sweet potato is a must-buy when getting taiyaki here! It has a refined and mellow taste that allows you to truly enjoy the sweet potato. The sweetness and deliciousness of this flavor are still my favorite. You can also purchase collaboration goods at the store. Although I'm not usually one to buy goods, I decided to buy an acrylic stand, also known as an "Akusta," for the first time because of the cute taiyaki collaboration. However, I didn't know where to display it, so I put it back in the bag. Poor lost Akusta, where do you all display yours? Thank you for the meal.

I bought a red bean and custard taiyaki. Unlike other taiyaki shops, the skin was crispy and thin. I was surprised to find that the custard inside was not as much as I expected, but it was still delicious. The red bean was a bit too sweet for my taste.

After dinner, I found this as a dessert alternative and purchased it. It was a delicious taiyaki with a thin crust filled with plenty of red beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido. The crispy crust and hot red bean paste were irresistible. It's been a while since I had taiyaki. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by for a snack around 3 o'clock and decided to have taiyaki. I wondered if I could eat two, but ended up ordering one with sweet potato and premium custard. They were so delicious that I finished both easily. The taiyaki were served hot, right off the grill! The shop has limited seating with only 5 seats, but I appreciated that they also had an eat-in area.

It is located at the entrance of Tenjin New Tenmachi. I missed lunch and got very hungry, so I was drawn in and ended up here (^ ^) This is a shop that bakes taiyaki one by one in molds, using natural ingredients. They had taiyaki with red bean paste, sweet potato, and cream. I like sweet potatoes, so I chose the sweet potato taiyaki. There was an eat-in corner next to the shop, so I ate it there. The sweet potato taiyaki was 240 yen and piping hot. The skin was crispy and thin. The sweet potato filling inside was delicious. It was a bit chilly that day, so it was even better. It was nice that the filling reached from one end to the other. Ice cream taiyaki would be nice in the summer. I also want to try the standard red bean paste filling. Thank you for the meal.

Overall, when it comes to taiyaki, the selling point is often said to be the "plentiful red bean paste filling", but for us highly sensitive people (HSP), what's important is actually the dough. I have been emphasizing this point strongly, as many taiyaki out there have mediocre tasting red bean paste. Additionally, being a fan of wheat, I find the quality of the dough here to be quite high. The shop is located in Shintencho, and being raised in Osaka, I sometimes mistakenly refer to it as "Shinsekai".
When it comes to taiyaki, if the red bean paste isn't delicious, people tend to opt for custard filling, but I decided to choose red bean paste this time. And it was simply delicious. This is mainly because they serve it fresh here. Both takoyaki and taiyaki taste best when freshly made. Thank you for the meal.

In Shin-Tencho, there is a taiyaki shop that always has long lines on weekends. I had a bite of it at home. The taiyaki here is different from any I've had before - it has a thin, crispy skin and plenty of sweet red bean paste inside. Delicious! Thank you for the meal!

As I was walking in Shin-Tencho, I caught a whiff of taiyaki. I couldn't resist and ended up buying one. With the first bite, the hot red bean paste spread in my mouth. The paste was delicious, but what stood out the most was the crispy outer shell that was subtly sweet yet tasty!

I felt like eating something sweet, so I lined up at a certain place. When it was time to buy, I noticed the price - it was 200 yen (excluding tax) which seemed quite high. I regretted not getting the Hachiraku Manju instead, it's only 100 yen including tax. Well, I had no choice, so I bought one with red bean paste inside. I took a bite right away. It was okay. The thin crispy skin was nice though. But compared to places like Yanagiya, Wakaba, or Naniwaya Sohonten, there's no way this chain store could win. Bon appétit. *I have changed my evaluation after comparing it to other places.

Hi, it's Kyantama, the food fighter! Today, I traveled 250 kilometers to Tenjin to buy horumon (offal) and picked up some taiyaki along the way. I went with a Nepalese friend who didn't know that hot taiyaki is delicious, so I taught her something new. The taiyaki here was even better than the ones I had in Akasaka before, with a slightly sweeter filling. It was served piping hot, just like the horumon. I also bought some taiyaki as a gift for my boss who loves dumplings, but he recently developed diabetes, so I advised him to only eat the taiyaki and skip the filling.

I stopped by on my way home from walking from Gofukucho to Akasaka. This place is known for individually baking each dorayaki. I tried the standard red bean paste flavor. The skin is thin and crispy, which many people seem to enjoy. The red bean paste is not too sweet and tastes delicious without any harsh flavors. I wish the red bean paste was a bit more moist and had a stronger aroma of azuki beans. Thank you for the meal.

One by one, the hand-baked taiyaki shop, Naruto Taiyaki Honpo Tenjin Store, is definitely delicious. The taiyaki is delicious, and the ice cream mochi is also good for 150 yen! The ice cream mochi with red bean paste for 180 yen is a nice upgrade for an additional 30 yen. The combination of crispy skin, vanilla ice cream, and taiyaki red bean paste is definitely delicious!

There is a shop in the Shintencho shopping street. I bought the signature Naruto sweet potato taiyaki (220 yen + tax) and the premium custard taiyaki (240 yen + tax). I waited for them to cook in the neighboring space, where I could hear the sound of them being flipped multiple times. This is what they call natural taiyaki. When I got home, I toasted them in the toaster. I had the Naruto sweet potato taiyaki. It had a fine texture and was absolutely delicious. The taste was as expected, no complaints, it was delicious. My family had the premium custard taiyaki. I tried a bit and it was rich and smooth. This one is also great! (^^)/

While walking with a friend towards Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin), we took a break and found a popular taiyaki shop at the entrance of Shintencho. Since there was no line, I decided to try their red bean ice cream for 180 yen. I sat down in the eat-in space and enjoyed the mildly sweet sherbet-like ice cream with red beans. It was delicious and perfect for the hot day. It was funny that they referred to it as "1 fish" instead of "1 piece" of taiyaki here. I'll definitely try the taiyaki next time! ♬

After strolling around Tenjin and having a meal, we continued our exploration in Shin-Tencho. We were on the lookout for today's special sweets and decided to line up at the Naruto Taiyaki Honpo Fukuoka store. Although there was usually a long line when we visited, this time it wasn't too bad, so we decided to give it a try. We bought a sweet potato taiyaki and a limited edition custard taiyaki. The sweet potato taiyaki was deliciously sweet and fluffy, while the custard taiyaki had just the right amount of sweetness. We were very satisfied with our choices.

This time, I visited a taiyaki shop called "Natural Taiyaki Naruto Taiyaki Honpo Fukuoka Tenjin Store" in Fukuoka Tenjin. As I was walking through the Shintencho shopping street, I came across this taiyaki shop. Feeling a bit peckish and attracted by the facade, I decided to make a purchase. "Natural taiyaki" refers to the method of carefully baking each taiyaki individually, known as "itchouyaki." I bought two flavors: - Tokachi red bean (200 yen each) - Naruto sweet potato (220 yen each) The red bean taiyaki had a firm, not too sweet red bean filling. The outer layer was crispy while the inside was moist and chewy, creating a perfect texture. The Naruto sweet potato taiyaki had a strong sweet potato aroma and sweetness, with a smooth filling reminiscent of sweet potato mochi. It was incredibly delicious. I happened to buy some really tasty taiyaki. It was a delightful lunchtime in Tenjin.笑 Thank you for the meal!
