I heard that a popular garlic sprout beef bowl was available for a limited time, and they even added black ma-yu oil on top. I was drawn to it, so I visited the Sukiya Shin-Osaka Nishinomiya-hara store. Due to the nature of my job, I eat without thinking much, and the smell of garlic is quite strong here. Sukiya Shin-Osaka Nishinomiya-hara Store, Osaka, Yodogawa-ku, Nishinomiya-hara 1-8-41, Shin-Osaka Minami Ai Building 1F.

For lunch, I went to Sukiya and had their Beef Bowl W Set Lunch, which includes a beef bowl, curry, and miso soup. I was surprised by the generous portion size of the set. The beef bowl and mini curry were both very filling, with plenty of rice. The curry had a slight tanginess and spiciness that paired well with the rice. The beef bowl was delicious, with a perfect combination of onions, beef, and rice. The pickles on the side were a nice touch. Overall, a satisfying meal at Sukiya.

I went to Sukiya for lunch. It's a convenient fast food chain that is easy to use even on holidays. This time, I had the beef kalbi bowl with a salad set. The grilled meat comes with a separate sauce that enhances the flavor of the savory beef kalbi. The tender meat goes perfectly with the rice, and I couldn't stop eating with my chopsticks. Sukiya is not just about beef bowls, their other menu items are also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

National holidays often result in fewer lunchtime operating hours for restaurants, but Sukiya, which is always open, is a welcome presence. I enjoyed the ultimate collaboration of tender, juicy chicken that falls apart with a spoon and beef bowl. The spicy chicken with curry flavor pairs perfectly with white rice, even more so than when enjoyed in a chicken curry. The aroma of charcoal grilling, incredibly tender texture, and the richness of the meat in the shredded chicken are all excellent. It goes incredibly well with rice and would definitely pair well with alcoholic beverages. Adding shichimi spice really brings out the flavor of the ingredients. And you also get the classic beef bowl with the same menu item. The beef bowl is a classic delicious dish, and the pickled red ginger topping is a must. The large serving of rice (+30 yen) is quite filling, and I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch on a holiday, I went to Sukiya for the first time in a long time. It's the Sukiya in Shin-Osaka Nishinomiya Hara. It's a business district on a holiday, and for a late lunch, the restaurant is about 10% full. There are various menu options, including a winter special sukiyaki hot pot set. However, for my long-awaited return to Sukiya, I decided to have the beef bowl. I ordered a salad set with it using the touch panel, and they recommended the lunch set which came with a raw egg and a price discount. The miso soup had very little ingredients, which was a bit disappointing. The main dish, the beef bowl, was classic Sukiya style with a good ratio of beef to onions. I got the large size, so there was plenty of rice. The pickled ginger, shichimi pepper, and raw egg were all necessary sidekicks for this meal. It was a satisfying meal.

A few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station. I had breakfast here today. The interior has counter seats and table seats. Since I visited in the morning, I chose the breakfast menu. I ordered the mini rice bowl breakfast with miso soup changed to pork miso soup. Now, let's dig in! The contents include a small beef bowl with okra and a soft-boiled egg, so you can eat them separately or mix them together as the menu suggests. I chose to mix everything together, and it was light and tasty compared to a regular beef bowl. Not bad for breakfast. So, thank you for the meal! It's been a while since I've been to Sukiya, but with this kind of content for less than 500 yen, the cost performance is quite good.

Visited after 9 pm. There are about 5 seats at the counter and 6 tables. There are always 2-3 groups of dine-in customers and about 2 take-out customers. No customers drinking alcohol, probably due to a sad incident. There were 4 staff members. Ordered a regular beef bowl for 400 yen. It arrived quickly. The meat seemed to be cooked with little broth and slightly burnt at the edges, but the taste was good. This store seems to cook onions well, as the flavor was strong. Operations and taste can vary between different branches, but I recommend this one.

I used to rely on this place every day, but... since my workplace moved a bit, I don't go as often. Despite being in an area with a lot of office workers, the staff here are efficient and the turnover is quite high. I'll come back to visit every now and then for sure.

This is a shop located about 4-5 minutes walk from the Miyahara side exit of JR Shin-Osaka Station. I visited during the daytime on a weekday and purchased the pork bowl (large size) for 660 yen (including tax). I saw their TV commercial and wanted to try it. I ate it at home right away. Personally, I prefer a slightly stronger flavor, but this was still delicious! The portion size was also satisfying. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

In November 2020, this was my second time eating at Sukiya's restaurant. It was the first time for my wife. We went around 6:30 pm on a weekday and the place was empty with a few takeout customers. I couldn't decide between the Tan Tan Negi Mix and Shokupan, but ended up getting the Gyudon Special. My wife got the Salmon Onion Don. She had never tried Gyudon before. I thought I could finish the Special, but ended up feeling uncomfortably full afterwards. I wanted to try the Mega size next time, but I don't think I can handle it. Gyudon eaten in the restaurant is really delicious. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at "Sukiya Shin-Osaka Nishinomiya Hara Store" near Shin-Osaka Station. Both popular ramen shops nearby had lines of customers waiting outside. This time, I decided to prioritize time and have a beef bowl. I also used the coin parking at the corner store next to the restaurant (30 minutes free, 2 hours free with purchases over 1,000 yen). We arrived at around 12:30 on a Sunday with a group of four. The restaurant was about 70% full. We ordered the following: - Beef bowl (regular) lunch set x2 for 500 yen each - Beef bowl (large) lunch set for 600 yen - Mini beef bowl for 290 yen The food was served in a little over 5 minutes. The lunch set includes a beef bowl, egg, salad, and miso soup. It's a very reasonable lunch menu, with the regular priced at 500 yen and the large at 600 yen. The taste and service were average, like any other Sukiya restaurant. It's not a place to enjoy the food or the atmosphere, but it's good for quickly and cheaply filling up your stomach. I really appreciate these one-coin lunch options.

Welcome.---------- November 2019 ----------A 24-hour stable beef bowl restaurant located near the hotel I stayed at (androoms) and also close to Shin-Osaka Station. The restaurant has a counter with a galala-like shape, tables for two, and is quite spacious. During breakfast time, there were quite a few customers and they offer limited edition dishes. The staff, including a mother and a young child, work there. I had the morning set meal which included beef and a small side dish, and I added a large serving of rice. The mackerel was about half the usual portion but still had a good amount of fat. The sweetness of the potato salad and the raw egg available naturally turned it into a "beef over rice" dish. Although I ordered a large serving of rice, the rice ran out before I could finish the meal. Overall, the breakfast set meal was decent, I suppose?

I hate Sukiya! This is my 7th review of this restaurant, even though I always end up stopping by on weekends when I'm too tired to cook dinner at home. This time, I gave in to the temptation of Sukiya just before reaching my house. I decided to have a "Sukinomi" tonight! (By the way, Yoshinoya is known for "Yoshinomi" and Nakau is known for "Nakanomi"). I entered the restaurant, sat down, and looked at the menu. I ordered an Asahi Super Dry beer, Gyudon (regular size), potato salad, and hiyayakko (chilled tofu). The total came to 970 yen. The beer was cold and refreshing, and the Gyudon as a side dish was actually quite enjoyable with pickled ginger and shichimi spices added. The total bill was under 1000 yen, which is great, but for some reason, I just can't seem to like Sukiya. I don't know why...

I don't usually go to Sukiya, a chain of beef bowl restaurants, but I happened to stop by because I was curious about a dish that a YouTuber had reported on. It was called "4 Cheese Doria Beef Bowl". I ordered it with a salad set. The bowl had plenty of beef, white sauce, broccoli, and bell peppers, topped with four types of cheese - Raclette, Gruyere, Gorgonzola, and Red Cheddar. It was more like a stew poured over rice rather than a baked dish. The cheese was rich and flavorful, but it would have been even better if it had a crispy, baked texture. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but I probably won't be ordering it again.

Sukiya is located just a few minutes northwest of Shin-Osaka Station. It is a restaurant geared towards salarymen. I have been to this place so many times, I can't even count. Since COVID-19, they have installed acrylic dividers on the counter and tables (which are often shared). The restaurant is in a business district, so there is no parking and the table seating is cramped. It gets very busy during lunchtime with many salarymen. The number of staff is sufficient, especially during lunch, so you don't have to wait too long (although it can still happen sometimes). Their Mega Gyudon costs 780 yen, but with the SukiPass discount, I go there four times a week. The rice seems to be hotter lately. I recently had the Mega size, but the bowl is so big that it didn't feel like I was eating a lot... I ended up finishing it normally. The regular Gyudon costs 350 yen. The rice used to be hot and the raw egg slightly cooked in the past, but since around 2018, it has become like a regular Sukiya. There is little variation in how the rice is cooked and the amount of meat is on the lower side (probably close to the standard amount). The Black Wagyu Beef Curry costs 890 yen, which is a ridiculous price for Sukiya. I would rate it around 2.0. There are a few chunks of meat, but mostly it's fatty and not very rich in terms of meat quality. The curry has a tangy taste like demi-glace, which is not my preference. The price is too high, and I always end up thinking I should have just ordered the Gyudon. In conclusion, Sukiya has been increasing prices since the end of 2017, aiming to raise the average customer spending. They have introduced new items and raised prices by 10 yen for almost everything except the regular size. They are trying to compete by offering the SukiPass card, which gives a 70 yen discount on every visit for a period after purchasing it for 200 yen. The competition is tough in the restaurant industry.

After returning from the morning bath, I happened to glance at a Sukiya restaurant and saw the words "Crunchy Onion! Japanese-style Onisara Beef Bowl". Although I'm not a fan of Sukiya, I decided to go in for the sake of trying something new. The restaurant was almost empty, and I quickly ordered the dish I was interested in. The food was served in just 1 minute, impressively fast for a fast food chain. I ordered the Japanese-style Onisara beef bowl for 500 yen with a side salad set for 150 yen. I sprinkled the bonito flakes on the bowl, added sesame dressing to the salad, and put shichimi chili pepper in the miso soup. The beef bowl, with a Ponzu sauce twist, had a refreshing taste and a crunchy texture thanks to the onions. It was not as heavy as the usual soy sauce-flavored beef bowls at Sukiya. The dish had plenty of Onisara, so I enjoyed it until the last bite. I once saw a poster in Sukiya promoting "building a healthy body by eating beef bowls", and I think this Onisara beef bowl might actually contribute to better health, especially for those concerned about their blood pressure. This dish is available for a limited time starting from March, so I recommend it to anyone looking for a healthier option. Now, it's time to walk back home for some exercise. Thank you.

You can get a magnet with a collaboration with Rascal. I want the "I ❤️ Gyudon" one. I've bought it twice before, but didn't win (lol). Should I go buy curry or gyudon again? For an extra 190 yen, you also get two slices of apple and a drink. By the way, take a picture of the food. That's the least you can do (lol).

It's just past 4 am and I woke up early, thinking about things when suddenly I remembered, "I've tried the curry at Matsuya and Yoshinoya, but come to think of it, I've never had the curry at Sukiya." Even though I don't like Sukiya, I wondered how their curry tastes. So, in the early morning, I visited Sukiya. I ordered the following: - Creamy Cheese Curry Mini 390 yen + Potato Salad Set 190 yen The cheese was scattered around, creating a sea of melted cheese in the curry. The potato in the potato salad was scooped with a round disher and when placed, it flipped over. The overall presentation was sloppy. Moving on to the salad, the broccoli included was appreciated, but it seemed lacking in freshness. The salad didn't seem to be very fresh. As for the curry, the taste was very mild, similar to Bon Curry's medium spiciness level. The ingredients were large, but the flavor was comparable to the curry at a train station. With the help of the cheese, I managed to finish it. In the end, curry from a specialist like Matsuya is still the best! The only thing I can praise Sukiya for is that their miso soup has a homemade feel to it and is the most delicious compared to the other two chains. I still can't bring myself to like Sukiya. That's all for my review of Sukiya. Thank you.
