I went to my favorite ramen restaurant and had a mini cold shabu don and a standard tonkotsu shoyu ramen. The chashu was different from other places, with a rich and fatty texture that melted into the soup, making it delicious! Next time, I'll try the spicy ramen from this restaurant.

I ordered the lunch set with Negi Cha-don and kimchi was all-you-can-eat. I ordered the soy sauce tonkotsu ramen, but the salt tonkotsu ramen had a more pronounced pork bone flavor and was delicious. The kimchi was spicier than I had imagined. The Negi Cha-don had a strong soy sauce flavor, so it tasted a bit spicy.

The nearby house ramen shop! Ordered ramen, called for normal size! When it arrived, it was quite white! I wonder if there are a lot of momiji leaves in it? I'm impressed by the variety of appearances in recent house ramen. The taste is very rich with flavors of chicken and pork. Thank you for the meal!

Located in Matsuya-cho, "Yokohama Iekei Ramen Kamiyama Matsuya-cho" is a ramen shop that I visited for the first time. The interior has both counter and table seating, and they offer a wide variety of ramen, rice bowls, and side dishes. I tried the Kamiyama Special Ramen (soy sauce flavor) with a choice of thin or medium noodles. Kimchi and pickles are complimentary, and rice refills are free. The ramen came with chashu pork, seaweed, spinach, seasoned egg, and quail egg on top of the classic creamy tonkotsu broth with thin noodles. It's a comforting bowl of ramen that hits the spot every once in a while.

Two days in a row, for some reason, I ended up having tonkotsu ramen. It was at different restaurants, just happened that way. I ordered the "Negi Cha Don Set for 780 yen." The Negi Cha was exactly what I expected - a delicious Negi Cha Shu bowl. The tonkotsu ramen I ordered was supposed to be soy sauce flavored, but I couldn't taste any soy sauce at all. Maybe they made a mistake? The noodles were curly egg noodles like Sapporo ramen, which was quite unusual, right? The restaurant's sign said it was a Yokohama-style ramen place, so it's a bit of a mystery. And on top of that, they offer unlimited rice and noodles, which is very generous. I enjoyed my meal today as well. Thank you for the delicious food.

Around 1:00 PM on Sunday, there were only 2 groups of customers in the restaurant. The interior was filled with many manga books and had an old-fashioned feel. We ordered the set menu which included ramen and for an additional 500 yen, we got gyoza, 2 pieces of karaage, and rice. The ramen we had was a creamy and rich tonkotsu ramen with medium thick noodles cooked just right. The kimchi was all-you-can-eat and there was also pickled daikon available. The ramen had a creamy and rich tonkotsu soy sauce flavor that paired well with the chewy medium thick noodles. The quail egg on top was a cute touch. The karaage was large and juicy, very delicious. Unfortunately, the gyoza was not that great. The rice was a bit on the softer side. Overall, we left feeling very full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

After the "Opening Ceremony" of the "Osaka Light Feast," I went to the Yokohama-style ramen restaurant "Kamiyama" at Matsuyamachi store. They use the difficult kanji "濱" in their name. It's a participating restaurant in the "Go To Eat" campaign. I couldn't resist ordering a "Draft Beer (Medium)" (400 yen). It's a "Premium Malt." The foam was a bit much, but it tasted great! If you order a draft beer after 3:30 pm and show a coupon, you get free "Gyoza (5 pieces)" (280 yen). Lucky me! Also, kimchi is a free self-service. The "Rich Tonkotsu Ramen (Soy Sauce)" (680 yen) arrived. Yokohama-style ramen is known for its large seaweed sheets and spinach. The spinach seemed to be sautéed in butter, giving off a tantalizing buttery aroma. There was a quail egg topping, which was a first for me in ramen. I took a sip of the soup... delicious! It was milder than I expected, creamy, and very tasty! The thick straight noodles with low water content were cooked al dente. They remained firm throughout the meal. The nearest station is Osaka Metro Matsuyamachi Station. It's pronounced "maccyamacci" by the locals. Enjoy more at "Mickey's Daily Life": http://mickeyjapan.blog.fc2.com/

I felt like eating rich "家系ラーメン" (Kaedama Ramen) and visited "Yokohama Kaedama Ramen Kamiyama" located along Matsuyacho Street. When I entered the restaurant, about half of the seats were already taken. You can choose from thin noodles, medium thick noodles, noodle firmness, richness of flavor, and amount of fat. The rich tonkotsu ramen (shoyu) comes with toppings such as chashu, quail egg, spinach, and three sheets of nori on medium thin curly noodles with a pork bone-based shoyu flavor. It is rich and creamy with a rounded taste, but the saltiness is slightly strong. Well, it tasted just as I had imagined, and the rice I ordered with it also went well! The "Ramen + Rice" set costs 680 yen, which I think is a good deal. During lunchtime, rice is free, and kimchi is all-you-can-eat. There are table condiments such as pepper, shichimi, sesame, lychee vinegar, and chili oil. There are manga books on the shelves inside the restaurant.

I've been to this Yokohama-style ramen restaurant a few times in Osaka, and what I like about it is that you can enjoy a variety of ramen for the same price! My favorite is the Kamiyama Special Ramen with thin noodles and a salty flavor. During lunchtime, you can get extra rice or noodles for free, so you'll definitely leave feeling full. They also serve kimchi and pickles every day, so you won't have trouble finding side dishes to go with your rice. The interior of the restaurant has many Jump manga books, so you won't get bored while waiting. It can get busy during lunchtime, but at night it's more relaxed with plenty of seating available.

I had been passing by a ramen shop a little away from the main street, but decided to visit for the first time. You can choose the thickness of the noodles, the richness of the soup, and the amount of fat. I ordered the special soy sauce ramen. The noodles were medium thickness, the soup was normal richness, and the fat level was also normal. Despite looking heavy, the soup was surprisingly delicious. I thought thin noodles would be a better match personally, but I enjoyed the meal. No disappointments at this nearby ramen shop (laughs).

I was looking for a ramen shop that is open until late at night and visited this place. An elderly man was running the shop by himself. I ordered miso ramen. The broth was very thin. I could taste the miso flavor but there was no depth or richness to it. Surprisingly, there was no hint of saltiness. On the other hand, the quail eggs were flavorful. I probably won't come back again. (>_ <)

I sometimes crave the ramen here. The rich tonkotsu shio ramen is delicious. The manager seems to be working alone, which looks tough, but the ramen is tasty and it's great that they're open late at night.

(Tue) 12:40 No waiting, seated immediately. I ordered the rich tonkotsu ramen (salt) for ¥680 with medium thick noodles. Also ordered the lunch service rice. The ramen was delicious, and adding the rice made it even better, great value for money. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the calm demeanor of the staff added to the satisfaction of the experience. Thank you for the meal.

Thick tonkotsu ramen (soy sauce) for ¥680 plus a Negi-cha donburi set for an extra ¥100. One of the few reliable Osaka-style ramen places. The Negi-cha donburi was surprisingly delicious for the trial price. They also offer a lunch service with rice on weekdays. Thank you for the meal.

In Osaka, there aren't many house-style ramen places. I always order the rich pork bone salt ramen with extra noodles. It's so delicious! I love the ramen here. I don't really know what house-style means, but it's so delicious!
