While walking around the Dotonbori area, I felt like having some flour-based dishes, so I came to this restaurant. I arrived 10 minutes before opening time, but there were already several groups of people waiting. I ordered Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, Akashi-style tamagoyaki, negiyaki, and salad. The speed of service was quite fast. I thought the salad, which was labeled as a speedy menu, would come out first, but it actually came after the Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, so the pace was a bit off. After finishing the meal and stepping outside, I saw a long line of people waiting. I'm glad I lined up before the restaurant opened.

I arrived at the restaurant around 9 p.m. in the midst of the Obon season. I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. The restaurant was full and bustling, but the food and drinks were served promptly. I ordered skewers, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba, and found the taste to be as expected with no major complaints. Considering the price, it would be nice to have a bit more quantity of food.

Today I visited this okonomiyaki restaurant during the lunch hour on a holiday and there was always a line. However, on this day, I was able to enter relatively quickly at the Botegyu Dotonbori store! I wonder if there are people who don't like okonomiyaki? While thinking about that, I also ordered yakisoba. It was delicious! Personally, I would be even happier if there was a little more sauce. It was a consistently good taste.

When I stayed at a hotel, I received a gift certificate for a campaign in Osaka and decided to go to Botedju, a place I had heard of but never been to before. It wasn't bad, but it was just okay. I think I had too high expectations because it was an old established restaurant.

This is the Boteju Sohonten Dotonbori store, a long-established okonomiyaki restaurant in Osaka. When I first walked in, I was surprised by how clean it was. Many okonomiyaki restaurants tend to be quite dirty, but this place had a lot of cleanliness. The staff were also very energetic and greeted us warmly. We were seated at the counter, where I noticed that all the chefs were foreigners. However, they cooked the food very well, which was impressive. The menu was extensive, featuring not only okonomiyaki but also various Osaka dishes like kushikatsu, horumon-yaki, salad, and gyoza. It felt more like an izakaya than just an okonomiyaki restaurant. The food was really delicious, with the okonomiyaki, yakisoba, horumon-yaki, and gyoza all receiving top marks. I was honestly underestimating this place, but it turned out to be the first okonomiyaki restaurant with such high quality that I've ever been to. I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I came to Osaka, so I went to the main branch of Boteyjutsu. I ordered a combination of the ultimate pork ball, oyster ball, eel ball, and edamame kushikatsu. The appearance of the pork ball and oyster ball is almost the same, but the taste is different, haha. The teppanyaki was delicious as expected. The alcohol went down smoothly. The eel ball was also excellent. It was around 7:00 pm on Sunday, but we were able to be seated right away, which was great.

Boteju, why is okonomiyaki so delicious? It's like the king of carbohydrates, almost like a drug. In Tokyo, when you think of okonomiyaki, you think of Osaka-style and Hiroshima-style. I visited the famous Boteju main store, known as the birthplace of okonomiyaki restaurants. I was tempted by the collaboration between Bon Curry and beef-topped Boteju yakisoba, but I decided to go with the classics. - Boteju Premium Tsukimi Yakisoba (beef, pork, shrimp, squid, octopus, egg) ¥1,580 (tax included) - Boteju Premium Tamago (beef, pork, shrimp, squid, octopus, egg) ¥1,580 (tax included) - Boteju Premium Negi-yaki (beef, pork, shrimp, squid, octopus) ¥1,680 (tax included) For a toast, I ordered a large draft beer. It was huge, like 1.5 times the size of a regular beer. Cheers! Tonight, I can't go drinking... The line is long. Next to me is Kanidouraku main store. Located in the most prominent spot in Dotonbori, it's a sanctuary with famous Osaka restaurants like Akashi octopus takoyaki and Daruma kushikatsu. It was delicious. It's been a while since I had okonomiyaki, since the famous restaurant in Roppongi. Very satisfying. When in Osaka, you must visit. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much. Around 7000 yen for two people, not bad. The best. While walking, I found a self-esthetics salon. Self, really? The name is Enrique. Haha, there's always a punchline, truly Osaka.

It was delicious! Two of us visited the restaurant and shared one okonomiyaki, which turned out to be quite filling. We were lucky to have entered when it was quiet, which made for a pleasant dining experience. By the time we finished our meal and left around 3:00 PM, the restaurant was quite busy. Since it took a bit longer than expected to be served (around 30 minutes), it's better to go when you have some extra time. Overall, it was our first time at an okonomiyaki restaurant and we would like to visit again when we come back to Osaka.

We found a okonomiyaki restaurant near the Glico sign and decided to go in. They only had smoking seats available, but since there weren't many smokers, it didn't bother us. We weren't too hungry, so we ordered omusoba, pork mix, takoyaki, and karaage for our family of four. The okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and beer were delicious.

At around 22:15 in Dotonbori, there is a Botejyu main store on the 2nd floor of a building. The area is bustling with tourists and locals. I visited the main store in Namba a long time ago. They offer a limited menu for takeout, and the wrapping was nicely done. The limited original pork dish had a big piece of pork on top. Botejyu has a special limited menu for their first appearance on LINE Pokeo. The pork dish was delicious and satisfying.

Today, I found myself struggling to decide on dinner, so I ended up at a restaurant that caught my eye. I wanted to eat something Osaka-style, so it was perfect. I ordered Dotenabe (beef and tripe stew) for 580 yen, Chicken Karaage for 580 yen, Osaka-style Tonpeiyaki (pork pancake) for 680 yen, and 5 pieces of juicy dumplings for 480 yen. Since I had eaten takoyaki earlier, I was a little full, so I only ordered side dishes. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying. The Dotenabe made me crave rice after eating it, and the Tonpeiyaki was fluffy and tasty.

I used to underestimate okonomiyaki, but the day I realized how delicious it really is, it was a revelation. It's not all the same! It's completely different! I asked my boyfriend what's different and he said, maybe it's the sauce? But living in Akita, I was truly shocked!

I visited the main store of Bodaiju on January 2, 2019 at 11:30 am. When I arrived, the restaurant was already full. It is located in Dotonbori, Chuo-ku, Osaka, right along the Dotonbori River on the 2nd floor of a building. Although it is the main store, it is quite small with only 43 seats, so there is often a line. Bodaiju, a renowned restaurant in Osaka, was established in 1946 and is known for creating a mayonnaise and mustard flavoring for their dishes. While mainly in Osaka, they also have branches in Shibuya, Yaesu, and Ikebukuro Tobu, as well as other brands. Their signature dishes include the Original Butatama for 980 yen, Dotonbori Modern for 1,780 yen, and Dotonbori Yakisoba for 1,780 yen, which are priced higher than typical okonomiyaki restaurants. The restaurant has a luxurious atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy delicious okonomiyaki leisurely, especially for tourists. The Dotonbori Modern dish costs 1,780 yen. I went to "Botechu" in Osaka because I didn't eat much takoyaki or okonomiyaki when I visited. The outside was crispy and the inside was creamy. The Akashiyaki had a firm texture. If you prefer a softer Akashiyaki, it might not be the best choice for you.

The size of the rice cake and the blend of mentaiko were just to my liking. ● Beef Tendon with Green Onions The more you chew on the tendons, the more flavorful it gets, a consistently delicious dish. ● Bacon and Egg Garlic Rice I can't believe they had such a stylish menu at Boteyu-san!! A guaranteed delicious combination. Absolutely!!! The takoyaki ladder and okonomiyaki after eating ramen were delicious but heavy duty. Thank you for the meal.

In Osaka, there is a restaurant called "Osaka Dotombori Botetyu" with stores scattered all over Osaka. I visited the main store in Chuo Ward, Dotombori this day. I ordered the Butaniku-iri Okonomiyaki (850 yen). The fluffy texture of the batter was nice, although I personally prefer it a bit firmer. It was delicious nonetheless. This restaurant is said to be the originator of okonomiyaki seasoned with mayonnaise. The seasoning had a nice kick of spiciness and the presentation was beautiful. I was completely satisfied.

When you come to Osaka, you have to eat kushikatsu to truly feel like you've come to Osaka. The restaurant was a bit trendy and clean inside. It was quite the opposite of what I had imagined and I was impressed.
