[Tennoji] Enjoying the first solo hot pot shabu-shabu! ~ "Senri Shabuchin" Going for lunch with friends before heading to the "Vermeer Exhibition," we made a reservation at "Senri Shabuchin" on the 12th floor of Kintetsu Department Store Abeno Harukas. The restaurant has only counter seats, and we sat side by side at the counter, enjoying our meals while looking at the outside view. Each of us enjoyed shabu-shabu in a solo pot style. While beef shabu-shabu is good, the pork looks delicious too(o>ω<o)◎ Premium pork from Iwate, "Shirogane Pork" ◎ Okinawa's Agu pork, "Yanbaru Island Pork" ◎ The highest quality pork born in Shizuoka, "Fuji Kinoko" and more, the appeal lies in being able to eat the finest pork. This time, we chose the "Shirogane Pork Lunch Course" (loin and belly) ◇ Homemade sesame tofu ◇ Shabu-shabu, 13 types of seasonal vegetables, Shirogane pork (loin and belly), two types of homemade sauces (sesame sauce & ponzu) ◇ White rice or brown rice ◇ Chinese noodles ◇ Refreshing yuzu sherbet A copper pot was set up, and the plate with sesame tofu, vegetables, and noodles had plenty of seasonal vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, daikon radish, carrot, green onions, wakame seaweed, and a unique leafy vegetable (probably Okinawa's Kunan Baiyaku?) The hot pot was boiling, and we put in the vegetables, then shabu-shabu the Shirogane pork. Enjoying shabu-shabu in a solo pot allows you to eat at your own pace, which is nice! The Shirogane pork is tender, moist, and the fat is light and delicious! After eating delicious vegetables and meat, we were full! When we finished eating shabu-shabu, vegetables, and rice, the staff made ramen for us. Add the Chinese noodles and wait for the hourglass to run out to complete! The soup is soy sauce-based with a peppery kick, and the noodles are chewy and delicious! Finally, yuzu sherbet for a refreshing finish. While enjoying the delicious shabu-shabu with a view outside, we were very satisfied. The friendly and efficient atmosphere of the staff was also nice. Thank you for the meal! (*^-^)v Thanks! ~ ~ After that, we passed through Ten-Shiba and found a giant takoyaki stall crowded with cherry blossom viewers. We took a photo together and headed to the main "Vermeer Exhibition"!
