Mucchan Manju, like a high school student. I found it on my way home after eating at a neighboring restaurant, so I couldn't resist making a nostalgic detour. I chose the white bean paste for 220 yen as a dessert after the meal. It was in a cute shape of Mt. Fuji. Yes, it was delicious as I remembered. Even though I was full, I had a separate stomach for this nostalgic taste. Thank you for the meal!

I hadn't eaten at this shop since my student days, but I felt nostalgic and decided to try it again. This time, I bought tuna salad, custard cream, and ham and egg. The tuna salad had a sweet onion flavor, a slightly crunchy texture, and a hint of pepper, which reminded me of my favorite tuna mayo taste. The ham and egg had a light mayonnaise inside, and also included cabbage for a touch of sweetness. The custard cream was surprisingly not too sweet, which might be different for those expecting a very sweet custard. Overall, it's a good choice for those who prefer a more subtle sweetness.

While taking a walk with my children, we decided to have lunch at Mucchan Manju. My children were not very interested at first, but when we arrived at the restaurant, there were two customers ahead of us. Luckily, I was able to buy the food right after it was cooked. We got Ham Tamago, Hamburger, Wiener, and Gorogoro-chan to go. Since we couldn't tell what was inside from the appearance, we decided to cut them in half before eating. My children took a bite and said it was delicious! They both seemed to really like it, so I'm glad. They said they want to eat it again, so I'm thinking of visiting the restaurant again.

This was my first experience at Mucchan Manju. I had seen it before but never tried it, thinking it was just like regular dorayaki. However, after seeing it on TV a few times, I decided to give it a try today. The new store was empty except for us. A young couple seemed to be running the place. Although the store was small, there was a seating area inside. I ordered the ham and egg, as well as the custard. They were pre-made and put into bags for us (which was a bit disappointing). The ham and egg had more filling than I expected, and the mayonnaise added a nice touch. It's no wonder it's their most popular item. The custard had a consistent sweetness and felt like a dessert. It's a good amount and price for hungry students. I'd like to try other items on the menu next time.

A new store called "Mucchan Manju" has opened near Takamiya Station on Oike Street. The store manager, who used to work together at events, is now running the place. I ordered two ham and egg buns, a popular snack among Fukuoka locals. The store is in a prominent location, and I hope they do well.

Wow, it's been so many years since I last had this. It might have been about 10 years ago. I decided to order delivery for the first time in a long time, and I was surprised when I saw the menu page on the website! Besides the classic ham and eggs, they have added pork belly, hamburgers, takoyaki... and more. I wanted to try them all, but this time I went with the classic ham and eggs and fried potatoes. It was nostalgic and delicious. I can't wait to try out the other menu items next time.

◆Fukuoka / Takamiya Mucchan Manju◆ I had some errands in Takamiya, and as I was walking around, I stumbled upon Mucchan Manju. Even if I didn't plan on eating anything, I have decided that "if I find Mucchan Manju, I will buy something" (what a strange rule). So, I went in. I have also decided that "if I can't decide on a flavor, I will go for the Ham and Egg" (what a strange rule). I ordered the Ham and Egg for ¥190. I watched them cook it like this, and then I enjoyed the hot and delicious snack. It's really tasty!

A few years ago, I heard that Mucchan Manju in Nishishin was delicious, but I don't eat sweets much so I completely forgot about the name "Manju." Recently, I saw somewhere that their ham and eggs are delicious! Come to think of it, the lady who mentioned it was a drinker. With that memory in mind, I happened to pass by the place and decided to stop by. It seems like the shop hasn't been open for long, it feels brand new. I decided to get 2 ham and eggs to go. While waiting for them to be cooked, I looked at the other menu items and noticed that ham and eggs were the most popular. Out of the 9 menu items, the sweet ones were black bean paste, white bean paste, and custard cream. The rest of the menu items also looked interesting. The two ham and eggs were placed in a small paper bag. They were still hot, so the bag was slightly opened to let the heat escape. I ended up wandering around and didn't eat them until a few hours later. When I took a bite, it had a texture similar to the skin of a not-too-sweet taiyaki, with a mix of ham, egg, and mayonnaise flavors. It was delicious. The balance of ingredients and the taste and texture slightly varied depending on the location. I didn't get tired of eating both of them in one go. I should have bought more of different varieties. I might stop by to buy some on busy lunch days. I think I could be satisfied with 3-4 pieces given my appetite.
