Lunch for the day was in Sakai City. It was a support lunch for a restaurant that is still open despite the pandemic. My family and I went to Minami Kai Grill "Tenshokaku Annex". Located in Sakai City, Kai District, the restaurant is known for its teppanyaki. The "Tenshokaku Annex" is a different type of restaurant located on the same premises, not a teppanyaki place. We had the Seasonal Colorful Lunch "Saizen" at the "Tenshokaku Annex". We also added Miyazaki Wagyu "Yaki Shabu" to our meal. The "Saizen" menu changes monthly, and for September, it included Miyazaki Kirei Pork, Hebesu Nabe, Maguro Nanban-style, Today's Small Dish (spinach with white miso), white rice, red miso soup, pickles, and sherbet with a choice of coffee or tea for a post-meal drink. "Hebesu Nabe" is a hot pot dish made using Hebesu, a citrus fruit from Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture. It was delicious, especially the thinly sliced Miyazaki Kirei Pork. And the Miyazaki Wagyu Yaki Shabu was amazing. The meal was really delicious. It's a great place for various dining occasions. The Saizen was incredibly tasty!

We arrived at noon and it took about 15 minutes from seating to the first appetizer being served. Each subsequent dish took about 15-20 minutes to arrive. Even though we had a reservation, the wait times for each course were quite long. The food was decent overall. The meat was tender and delicious. The rice dish was quite generous in portion, even for someone like me who eats a lot, finishing it left me feeling very full.

I went to Minami Kaigrill and Tenchokaku Bekkan in Osaka and Sakai. I was planning to go to a steakhouse, but it was full so I waited for about 30 minutes and got in. I ordered the meat lunch. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. This time, I sat at the counter. First, I had an appetizer of prosciutto and fruit. The prosciutto was easy to eat and tasted good. Next was the roast beef. It was a marbled roast beef and quite delicious. Then came the grilled meat. We had a hot plate on the table and grilled the meat using solid fuel. There were 4 slices of meat, and slowly I started to feel full. Lastly, the cutlet was served, which was also tender and tasty. It had seasoning on it, so I ate it as it is. Dessert and coffee ☕️ were included for 4000 yen. The restaurant was crowded with customers and it was very popular. It was a great meal!

I was planning to go to Nanhai Grill, but it was fully booked with group reservations for banquets or year-end parties. So, I was guided to the adjacent Tenchokaku Bekkan. We ordered the meat-focused lunch course, which was said to be generous, so we shared a portion for 2 among 3 people. Instead of having the meat brought already cooked, we were given a mini iron griddle to cook the meat ourselves right in front of us. The Miyazaki Wagyu steak had a nice marbling and was tender and delicious! The beef cutlet was tender and tasty, but it seemed to have been fried and then cooled down (><). It would have been better if the beef cutlet was served freshly fried. Other than that, from the appetizers to the chilled dishes, grilled dishes, main course, and dessert, everything was satisfyingly delicious. Next time, I want to come by train instead of car, sit in front of the iron griddle, have the meat cooked for me, and enjoy it with a beer.

Today was the first "Goryo Dining Table" gathering♪ We enjoyed a hamburger bento for ¥2000 while socializing~ Everyone was so nice and it was a pleasure to meet them all♡ The bento came with a hot coffee bar where we could have two refills♪ The warm hamburger had a gentle, natural sauce. There were also sausages, potato salad, and a unique ratatouille. The tail soup had a wild and delicious flavor. I hope that in a few years, we can have a more elegant gathering with a hot plate in front of us. Despite that, I am grateful for the wonderful venue that was set up for us (including the price of the venue). It was a fun time - thank you for the delicious meal and for hosting us!

Gathered in Sakai for a meeting. Nanbaigrill is a very famous restaurant in Sakai. This time, due to the large number of people, we couldn't sit at the teppan counter, so we opted for a table. Instead of the teppanyaki course, we chose a kaiseki course style. Unfortunately, the staff at the restaurant were not very attentive, which was disappointing. The meat was delicious though! The wine in the glass was also delicious. For the finale, we could choose between rice or garlic toast, and I wish I had chosen rice. It seems like this place is more suited for teppanyaki, but the meat was still delicious! Thank you for the meal ♡

Today I visited the restaurant with a friend for a secret meeting! My friend surprised me with a dessert platter because my birthday is coming up. I was so surprised! They even prepared a surprise performance for me. The appetizers were incredibly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Miyazaki beef. Thank you to everyone involved. Grateful!

The Southern Sea Grill is known for its steaks, but I didn't know that you could also enjoy kaiseki cuisine at this Tencho-kan Annex. On this day, we had a small party and took the elevator up to enjoy the kaiseki cuisine. We started with appetizers, followed by a paper pot dish that was set on fire. Of course, since it's kaiseki cuisine, sashimi was also served. But being at the Southern Sea Grill, I was really hoping for some steak, and to my surprise, they actually served it. It was delicious Miyazaki beef steak. I was delighted by this surprise! This day had a drink-all-you-can menu, so I started with beer and then had a highball. Soon after, tempura was served with matcha salt for a refreshing taste. The meal ended with 3 pieces of sushi and matcha soba, which was a perfect finish. The dessert was watermelon. It was a fun and enjoyable time. Thank you for the meal!

In Sakai City, there is a famous restaurant called Nankai Grill! It seems to be a sister store. My family came here for lunch at the end of 2019. The restaurant is spacious and we sat at a table and each ordered a set meal. There were various options such as tempura, chirashi sushi, crab suki, sashimi, pork shabu-shabu, and steak, even though it was lunch. The prices are a bit on the higher side. Thank you for the meal!

We used it for a year-end party of a certain company! We usually only go to teppanyaki restaurants, so it was a nice change! It's great that there is a hall where large-scale events can be held. There was a variety of dishes such as sashimi, hot pot, tempura, and steak, all with all-you-can-drink. With a large number of people, some places may be hard to manage, but South Sea Grill did a great job. We will definitely use it again!

This is the place to go for special occasions! Every year, we come here for our family year-end party, birthday celebrations, and wedding anniversaries. And for the year-end party, we always have sukiyaki! The premium Miyazaki beef is so tender and melts in your mouth even when cooked. You can have unlimited refills of eggs and rice. The staff is very polite and the restaurant is non-smoking. It's a true luxury experience that you can enjoy locally. Such happiness!

On the day before Christmas in 2015, they made a luxurious reservation for sukiyaki for us! It was made with Miyazaki prefecture A5 rank black wagyu beef. The sukiyaki course included appetizers, sashimi, sukiyaki, vegetables, udon, rice, and sherbet! We were led to a private room and seated on chairs. The staff prepared everything for us and cooked the sukiyaki for us. The first piece of meat I tried melted in my mouth! It was so delicious. We also had vegetables and finished with udon. Even though we were full, we still managed to eat a little bit. The sherbet at the end was refreshing and soothing! The staff's customer service was great, so we left feeling satisfied. Thank you for the delicious sukiyaki.

I ate at the main building a long time ago, but now it has become a Japanese restaurant called Tenchokaku at a separate building. The hot pot was for one person. The Japanese-style room had a spacious table in a large private room. I used to come here often for beefsteak. The staff who took care of me was still the same. I feel like I used to come here on special occasions. I want to work hard starting tomorrow so I can come here again. The shabu-shabu was delicious!
You can enjoy a full course meal of wagyu beef for around 7000 yen. Depending on the type of beef, it ranges from 5000 to 8000 yen. The meat was incredibly delicious. The marbled meat alone would normally cost around 5000 yen in a regular restaurant, but here it comes with appetizers and dessert in a course format, making it a great value! Tenchokaku offers private rooms, so you don't have to worry about your surroundings, and it's quiet with hardly any children. The staff were attentive with heating and ashtrays, allowing us to have a wonderful time. I used to go to Nankai Grill since I was a child, so I had a family restaurant image in mind, but Tenchokaku has an adult atmosphere and was really great!
