Visited the popular yakitori restaurant "Yakitori Furinkazan 5th Branch" near Hakata Station with colleagues during a business trip. We used it for our second round this time. The standout feature is the facade outside the store. The presence of the Kirin logo is so strong that you can easily spot the store. The food is of course delicious! Personally, I really like the atmosphere of the store and it's very cozy. This time, we ordered some snacks with our drinks, so next time I visit on a business trip, I want to try a variety of dishes!

We decided to go on a whim and were able to get a seat without waiting. We ordered a variety of dishes, but there weren't many options for yakitori and the portions were small. The overall experience was average, and there weren't any memorable dishes. The atmosphere had a typical Japanese yakitori restaurant feel, with a simple interior. I probably won't be returning.

We ended up ordering a lot, probably over 20 skewers for the two of us. They use a unique method of keeping the skewers warm by placing them in a ceramic pot with a lit candle underneath. We also enjoyed a few highballs, chicken rice, and some fried chicken, all for around 5000 yen, so it was good value for money. Sitting at the counter, we could watch the skewers being grilled right in front of us, which was a nice touch. I would definitely want to visit this place again when in Hakata.

It was already close to midnight, with closing time at 12:30, so I decided to visit! Just before the last order at midnight, the staff kindly guided me to a counter seat! I picked up the menu and checked out the items that caught my eye... - Cabbage appetizer - Pork belly (120 yen) - Chicken liver (120 yen) - Chicken heart (120 yen) - Chicken tenderloin with plum (200 yen) - Chicken intestines (160 yen) - Beef skirt meat (200 yen) - Smoked 3-item platter: liver, tenderloin, quail (520 yen) - Super Dry Extra Cold beer (380 yen) I ordered the smoked platter as a starter and took a sip of beer! The smoky flavor is really good... Especially the tenderloin is my favorite! Smoking removes moisture, so the umami flavor is concentrated! This goes well with the beer... I should add more before the yakitori arrives... - Super Dry beer (medium, 380 yen) Next, the yakitori dishes arrived one after another! Despite the reasonable prices, the skewers were not small in size! They are served on a warm plate, so they don't cool down quickly, which is great! They are cooked with care and taste delicious! The seasoning is just right, making it a perfect snack with alcohol! Despite the prime location in front of Hakata Station, the cost performance is excellent! This is a great place for a casual drink or when you're in the mood for yakitori! I will definitely visit again in the future! Thank you for the meal!

If you're looking to eat yakitori at Hakata Station, I recommend this shop. The yakitori has a substantial volume and the salted squid in the appetizer set is delicious with just the right amount of saltiness. We also ordered the garlic butter sauce on cartilage, which was also delicious. Thanks to the delicious food, I ended up drinking a lot of highballs.

Arrived at 6:30 pm. The lively restaurant was filled with other customers, and the staff were all providing excellent service. I was surprised by the menu! The yakitori and drinks were very cheap! I ordered shochu, yakitori, and a bite-sized gyoza. I had ordered drinks first, but because everyone else was ordering yakitori, it took quite a while for them to arrive. When the staff came to take our drink orders, I recommend ordering at least a few food items in advance. There were stone-like containers on the table with candles inside to keep the yakitori warm. This was the first time I had seen this, and I thought it was a great service. The taste of the dishes was nothing special, but it was reasonably delicious, and considering the low prices, I had no complaints. The one-bite gyoza came with sauce and yuzu pepper, which was unusual. Of course, the bill was also very cheap (around 1800 yen). For this price near Hakata Station, it was honestly amazing! The restaurant was always full, and since I visited on a Friday, securing a seat on Fridays would likely be a fierce battle.

This is my first visit, but the chicken wasabi is delicious. I highly recommend it. Please try it! Personally, I was in a good mood after drinking the Super Dry Extra Cold for the first time in a while. It seems to be good value for money.

I visited this restaurant last month in June 2014. It was a place recommended by my company colleagues. Despite being a weekday night, the restaurant was almost full with groups having parties and office workers. This particular restaurant is the 5th branch, with several others in existence. The interior had a retro Showa era vibe, and a unique feature was the candle-lit shichirin-style grill to keep the yakitori warm. The menu offered a wide variety of skewers and drinks at very affordable prices. Skewers ranged from 80 to 200 yen, with items like chicken skin, gizzard, and white meat priced at 80 yen, while pork belly, heart, and thigh were priced at 100 yen. The drink menu was also extensive, with sweet potato, barley, and buckwheat shochu priced at only 190 yen. I tried a selection of skewers, with the crispy chicken skin in sauce being particularly delicious. I also recommend trying the rare sake options like Echigo Kansansui (junmai sake), Hananotsuyu (junmai sake), and Satoh Kuro (shochu) from Kagoshima. Unfortunately, the popular Dassai (junmai daiginjo) from Yamaguchi was sold out at 300 yen. Despite this, I enjoyed a satisfying meal with a bowl of rice. This restaurant is highly recommended for those looking for affordable and delicious drinks. Thank you for the meal!

This is a chain restaurant of yakitori located about a 3-minute walk from Hakata Station's Hakata exit, towards the back of Fukuoka Center Building. It is located on the basement floor and is mainly crowded with office workers after opening at 5 pm. Their unique system of placing the grilled yakitori on a round stand with a candle underneath to keep it warm is interesting. All the yakitori are delicious and served hot, but my favorite is the grilled green pepper with ponzu sauce and bonito flakes. The pork belly is also recommended, with a thin yet crispy texture. The drinks are affordable, with beer at 380 yen and shochu at 190 yen. It's nice that you can have unlimited refills of cabbage as a side dish. This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I'm in the Hakata Station area.
