Today is Saturday, so I usually have the day off, but I had to be nearby due to the other party's schedule. I had a quick lunch after eating a sandwich from the convenience store in the morning. I wasn't very hungry, so I had a light lunch. In the afternoon, I enjoyed a delicious rice bowl. Eggs have become a luxury ingredient, so I felt like I had a luxurious lunch. There are many other menu options, so I will try something else next time!

Recently, I often go to "Daishin" in Tsukamoto, a restaurant specializing in okonomiyaki and teppanyaki. They have a great lunch deal with daily specials. [Day 1] ⭐️Daily Special Set + Mini Soba for 700 yen Today's special was shrimp cream croquette and cheese minced cutlet. The shrimp cream croquette had a creamy, liquidy orange filling that was so delicious. The cheese minced cutlet was well-formed and crispy, with a light and crunchy texture. The mini soba was small but satisfying, especially when eaten with the salty and slightly spicy dashi broth. With an added raw egg, it was a tasty meal but left me very full. [Day 2] ⭐️Kalbi Don Set + Mini Kake Udon for 750 yen The Kalbi Don was more like a beef bowl, with sweet and savory marinated beef that was a bit chewy but full of flavor. Topped with a raw egg, it was a delight for food lovers! The udon was a smooth and slippery Kansai-style noodle with a dashi broth made from tororo kelp. [Day 3] ⭐️Kakiage Don Set + Mini Kake Soba for 550 yen At just 550 yen, it's like paying with a coin! The crispy kakiage was nostalgic and delicious, especially when paired with a raw egg. The dry kakiage miraculously becomes tasty with the raw egg, making it a wonderful combination. The raw egg truly works wonders!

About a 15-minute walk from JR Tsukamoto Station, in a quiet residential area, stands a solitary teppanyaki and okonomiyaki restaurant called "Daishin." The second-generation young master runs the place by himself. I used to live in Tsukamoto for a few years, but I had no idea there was a restaurant in this secluded location! Those who come by car for the first time are sure to get lost. It's a place that only locals seem to visit. I was brought here by a senior whom I have been deeply indebted to for a long time. We left the menu up to the senior and enjoyed dishes like "Premium Minopons," "Special Tongue," and the highly recommended "Tecchan Nabe." The lightly blanched premium mino is served almost raw with an egg yolk on top. It was my first time having raw mino, and it was incredibly delicious when mixed and eaten with a crunchy texture. The special tongue seemed to be from the very base of the tongue. It was so tender that I didn't need to chew. It was delicious! The main dish, Tecchan Nabe, was also very filling, and the fact that it was only 1000 yen per serving was surprising! It would easily be double the price elsewhere. The special miso and gochujang had a wonderful aroma. It was rich and tasty, and we finished it in no time! We also had a hearty serving of Chinese noodles for the finale. Even though I visited several places that day, I still had no problem finishing the food, which is a bit scary (laughs). I definitely need to come back here this season! I visited a teppanyaki restaurant located in a residential area for lunch. Although there were a few table seats, I was seated at the counter in front of the teppan since I was dining alone. The teppan was cluttered with plates, pots, sauces, etc., making it seem like a storage area. It was clear that they were very busy, with the teppan constantly full during lunchtime. I ordered a bottle of beer and the beef tataki set meal. The set meal included tataki, rice, miso soup, a small dish (lotus root kinpira), pickles, and a raw egg. The tataki was cooked to perfection, tender and slightly rare. It was delicious. The raw egg was used to make a tamago kake gohan (egg over rice). For the price of 600 yen, the set meal was definitely a good deal. It's no wonder the place was always crowded. Thank you for the meal.
