I visited for a coffee after lunch because I had been here before and the coffee was delicious. I ordered Mandheling, blend, mild blend, and mocha. They carefully made the coffee, so I thought of getting an iced au lait, but everyone else ordered hot coffee because it was ¥900. It comes with a chocolate for flavor change. They allowed me to take photos.

On this day, I walked quite a distance and ended up taking a train from Tamatsukuri to Umeda. Before that, I decided to take a break and saw a row of coffee cups from the window. Coffee shops with rows of coffee cups always seem to be good. I opened the door and went in. There were no other customers inside. I sat at the counter and ordered a blend coffee. The quiet owner made a coffee with a deep flavor. I added milk and sugar, stirred it, but it was still a bit bitter. I enjoyed the bitterness in the quiet space and quietly savored my cup of coffee. Coffee shops with rows of coffee cups might really be good after all. (#^^#)

The unique brewing method of delicately preserving the delicacy of paper drip while also feeling a roughness is a feature of this shop. The master is a J.C.Q.A certified coffee instructor, level 2, looking forward to enjoying the June limited Diamond Mountain. Diamond Mountain (700 yen) Panama, elevation 1,400m, from the high-quality environment of La Esmeralda farm. When the order is placed, the beans are ground by a machine, but clearly, the amount is more than 10-15g per cup. The coffee is not carefully measured with a measuring spoon but rather scooped generously. The paper drip is brewed with light shining from below, pouring a little at a time, not all at once. The coffee is poured slowly from the pot, without meticulously measuring the temperature. The coffee has a refreshing bitterness and a clear taste. The medium to dark roast is well balanced with aroma and richness. It's delightful to have the coffee poured almost overflowing into the cup. Sitting at the counter, you can see a row of classical cups, known to coffee lovers. It's great to enjoy coffee while looking at them. (^ω^*) I have an Instagram account @ginjirou.star.

It is located a little off the main shopping street of Tamatsukuri. This is a charming coffee specialty shop where they drip brew each cup individually. It seems like they grind the beans fresh each time. The owner runs the shop alone. Various cups are hung near the window, so you might get to drink from a different cup each time you visit. It's a great place to enjoy coffee and have a quiet moment. It was so relaxing that I ended up feeling sleepy (laughs). Thank you for the meal!

I don't go to the Gyoku Zou area frequently, so I went early when I had plans and saw a stylish coffee specialty shop that caught my eye from the outside. Just seeing the coffee cups inside the window raises the expectations for coffee lovers. I ordered the Colombia Supremo (550 yen), and the master, who is knowledgeable with a J.C.Q.A certified coffee instructor level 2 qualification, brews it in an enjoyable way. He grinds plenty of beans when the order is placed and does a meticulous pour-over while shining a light from below. He is particular about using alkaline ion water (pH 9.5) that is gentle on the body. The coffee has a refreshing bitterness with a sweet aroma and the characteristic crisp acidity of Colombia. It is a mild and easy-to-drink coffee. The orange lighting covering the light bulb creates a nice atmosphere, and you can enjoy your cup with rhythmic jazz music. It's a specialty shop that focuses on coffee while maintaining a cozy cafe atmosphere, and I think you can encounter a unique cup here. I have an Instagram account @ginjirou.star.

After eating two bowls of ramen, I immediately had coffee. Probably, this is a good way to reset my stomach. I found a place with a lot of coffee cups hanging, which looked inviting. I ordered a Mocha for 550 yen (tax included). Recently, I discovered that my favorite is fruity! It has a rich aroma without being overwhelming, just like the Ethiopian coffee I found. It's hard to find a place that serves it though. Coco-chan told me (from previous research) that Mocha is a common term for Ethiopian beans because the main types of beans grown in Ethiopia are called Mocha. I wonder if all coffee shops are like this? The coffee was carefully made by grinding the beans after receiving the order, pouring hot water over it little by little on a paper filter. It was light and easy to drink. I was looking for a super flavorful coffee, but my taste might be a bit off. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
Side Note 1: I randomly started a quiz on guessing the price of coffee cups and saucers.
Side Note 2: The commonly seen simple design (known as gold rim) is made by Okura. Where is it from?
Side Note 3: I guessed 3,000 yen.
Side Note 4: p-chan and coco-chan were not present, so I quizzed them through a quiz format on their phones.
Side Note 5: p-chan guessed 4,800 yen, and coco-chan guessed 8,500 yen.
Side Note 6: The answer is! (Checked online) Unfortunately, everyone got it wrong. It was 22,000 yen.
Side Note 7: My hand was shaking a bit while holding the coffee cup.
Side Note 8: Why is it so hard to hold? The hole for the fingers in the cup is too small.

I learned about this place from my coffee-loving sister, Tamatsukuri Roller 17. It's a cafe near Tamatsukuri Station, just off the shopping street down a side alley. From the counter, you can see the bustling alley through the gaps between the lined-up coffee cups. The coffee cups are beautiful blue roses. I ordered a mocha coffee, which was carefully brewed with a paper filter. A small piece of chocolate accompanied the generous serving of coffee. The interior of the cafe is quiet and relaxing.

A coffee specialty store located near Tamatsukuri Station on the elegant Yukimura Street. The shop has a sharp, modern interior design with a classic touch, filled with the aroma of coffee. They offer a variety of coffees, including Blue Rose, all served in elegant Okura pottery. Their Strong Blend is a Santos Nibra-based blend with a vibrant richness and bitterness. It is served with a chocolate chip cookie to enhance the coffee's deliciousness. #coffee

I have been passing by this shop for quite some time and finally had the chance to go in. It's a specialty coffee shop that opens at 11 am, so I couldn't visit earlier due to my schedule. I ordered a mild coffee, which was very smooth and delicious without any milk or sugar. They use hand-drip method and grind the beans fresh for each order. It's not just about the process, but also about adjusting based on the condition of the beans, temperature, humidity, etc. It may not be something that customers notice, but it definitely makes a difference in the taste.

Located right next to Tamatsukuri Station, this coffee shop has a quaint and traditional appearance. You can see many coffee cups through the window. Upon entering through the glass door, you'll find a counter and three tables with dark wooden interior, dark brown chairs, and amber pendant lights. The background music is modern jazz, creating a chic and sophisticated atmosphere. The owner showed me the menu, and I ordered a blend coffee for 500 yen. The beans were ground on the spot and brewed with a hand drip method. It was served in a beautiful blue rose cup from Okura Touen. The coffee, labeled as "strong," had a deep roast flavor with a hint of acidity, making it a refreshing and not too bitter taste. I also enjoyed the small butter cookie that came with it. The shop was filled with regular customers, couples, and others, all enjoying their own time in this relaxing space with a cup of coffee.

On September 28th, I tried the Coffee Jelly to drink for 600 yen. I would rate the cafe as 3.5 stars for both the drink and the cafe itself. I visited on a Monday at 5:45 PM and there was one other customer, a man in his 40s. The cafe had a cozy atmosphere with jazz music playing, and it had a small L-shaped counter, one table for two, and two tables for four. The Coffee Jelly was served with iced coffee, crushed coffee jelly, and topped with vanilla ice cream. They provided syrup as the coffee itself wasn't sweet. I wish they had used coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice. It was easy to drink with a big straw. Adding syrup made it tastier, especially when eaten with the vanilla ice cream. It tasted as expected, but it was delicious and a nice way to relax after work.

This is a neat café located in a street lined with shops near JR Tamamizu Station. The interior is nicely decorated and calming. On a hot day, I decided to try their "Coffee Jelly to Drink" which looked delicious in the menu. It consisted of two layers - coffee jelly and ice latte with a topping of vanilla ice cream. It was not too sweet, and came with brown syrup on the side. The balance of flavors between the ice latte and coffee jelly was perfect, so I ended up not using the syrup. The soft, high-quality coffee jelly itself was very tasty. I would love to drink this every day! The owner was also very friendly and engaged in conversation. They offer free WiFi called Dotspot.

Tamatsukuri Station on the subway Nagahori Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Line, exit/entrance number 5. When you come out, you will find a 4-meter wide section leading to the Nanshoku (Tsuruhashi direction) of the Hino Shopping Street. It is well-maintained and easy to walk on. While it may not be as lively as it used to be, it is still bright and clean. Turning left at the first intersection, you will see a shop with a storefront that seems to be specialized, established about a year ago. Inside, there is a counter along the left window, kitchen at the back, and four-seat table seating along the back wall. This month's recommendation is the "Guatemala" coffee for 600 yen. The roasting is a bit subtle, with a rich aroma, refreshing bitterness, and a hint of acidity. The wide, horizontal window lets in soft light, creating a picturesque scene with the silhouette of the owner floating. Enjoy a blissful moment that never gets old!

I visited "Hiro" on Yukimura Road in Tamamatsu. It is a coffee specialty shop with a small interior featuring a counter and about four table seats. The shop is decorated with stylish coffee cups visible from Yukimura Road. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a quiet master, a variety of coffee beans, and wooden-scented tables. If you want to enjoy delicious coffee in the downtown area, give it a try. You will surely like it. However, since it is in the downtown area, not all customers may be quiet individuals (laughs).

2016/12【Revisited】Today, I had some free time and revisited a cozy cafe where I enjoyed a delicious cup of Mandheling coffee. Thank you for the treat!
2016/10 "Had to revisit!" While walking down Sanada Yukimura Street, a bird's dropping fell on my shoulder, so I quickly went into Hiro-san to get some tissues. While there, I also enjoyed a tasty blend coffee.
This coffee shop is located in the Yakkino Tamazukuri shopping street, trying to capitalize on the popularity of the drama "Sanada Maru" by Mitsuhiko Sanada. Today, the people in the shopping street were dressed as Sanada's warriors for an event. I watched them with a cool eye as I went into Hiro-san. The carefully brewed coffee had a rich aroma, truly living up to its reputation as a specialty shop. The ambiance inside was calm and didn't feel like it belonged in Tamazukuri. This is a shop I often visit. Today, I was planning to drink quickly and move on, but instead, I decided to stay at Hiro-san until evening, rather than drinking cheap alcohol at some random bar.
