I visited for lunch after 11 o'clock. This yakiniku restaurant is smoke-free, so you can easily visit even before going out. I think the Samgyupsal lunch was 1380 yen. It came with daikon pickles, spinach with sesame dressing, bean sprout namul, kimchi, wakame soup, lettuce, 3 thick slices of pork belly, gochujang sauce, yakiniku sauce, white rice, and a mini dessert! You can add a drink to your lunch at a reasonable price. I had grape juice, which was delicious. At first, I thought the pork belly was mostly fat, but once it was grilled properly, the surface became crispy and the fat was tasty. It went well with the gochujang sauce. The kimchi and yakiniku sauce weren't too strong in garlic flavor, so that was good. I was able to eat 5 pieces of lettuce, which was more satisfying for me than cabbage salad. The wakame soup was served very hot, so I wish they had provided a spoon. There was plenty of white rice, so I gave some to my husband. I also gave him half of one piece of pork belly. I think men would find it quite satisfying as well. The mini dessert was in a black syrup flavor. It would be nice to have some explanation of the dessert. When you feel like having yakiniku for lunch, this restaurant is reasonably priced and has a good atmosphere.

Since they only have 15 servings available, I was able to eat without any problems. I accidentally dropped the egg I was supposed to put on my dish, and it couldn't be fixed. So, I ended up asking for a refill. The appearance of the dish was amazing, and the taste was also incredible! The price was very reasonable. This is a must-visit for lunch in Fukuoka! The side dishes include wakame soup and kimchi. The kimchi is pickled and not too spicy, but a bit lacking in quantity. It's just a side dish, so no complaints there. There was quite a lot of rice, and towards the end, I was full. Just when I thought we were done eating, a special pudding dessert was brought to us. I was pleasantly surprised since I was expecting no dessert. The pudding was sweet and firm, and delicious. I ordered the special kalbi from the regular menu which was generously marbled and a good portion for 780 yen. I prefer lean cuts, so I focused on ordering the harami. The cabbage salad was served in a large portion with a refreshing dressing, following the style of yakitori restaurants in Hakata where you can eat lots of meat. However, there were few staff members, so ordering was a bit challenging.

This time, I went to Hachihachi Salaria branch located at 2-2-43 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. I was torn between yakiniku and shabu-shabu, but decided on yakiniku in the end! I hesitated between the Tan and Sagari Healthy Lunch for 1480 yen and the Wagyu Upper Kalbi Lunch for 1980 yen, but I chose the Wagyu Upper Kalbi because I wanted to treat myself to some good quality meat. I also enjoyed a refreshing glass of draft beer. The lunch set included rice, kimchi, assorted namul, shredded cabbage, wakame soup, and dessert. The meat was generously cut into 8 slices and cooked on a smokeless roaster, so there was no need to worry about smoke. The only downside was that it took a bit of time to cook the meat. The wakame soup comes in a Korean-style bowl but doesn't come with a spoon, making it difficult to eat. The sauce is too sweet and bland. The only thing that tastes normal is the kimchi.
