The restaurant was full, so it seems to be popular. It's an izakaya mainly focused on motsunabe (offal hot pot). The beef tataki was fresh, the grilled fish and horse sashimi were delicious too. Of course, the motsunabe was the best. It was rich and not greasy at all, and the garlic chives in the pot were incredibly tasty that I even ordered extra. There were various types of sake available, and they were delicious.

I attended one of the year-end parties here for the first time, but the restaurant was a bit hard to find. The recommended dish seemed to be motsunabe. We had a course with all-you-can-drink option, and there were some appetizers before the hot pot. As time passed, the restaurant became crowded, probably because many other groups were also having year-end parties. The restaurant is located in Shinchi, so it's not expected to be cheap, but the fact that it was so busy indicates that it's a popular place. By the time the main hot pot arrived, we had already been drinking quite a bit. The vegetable-packed hot pot had a nice soup, and the motsu surprisingly absorbed the broth well and was delicious. I think it's a good place to come back to, but honestly, it might be a bit lonely to go alone.

Hakata! Do you imagine motsunabe or sukiyaki? Here, you can also eat sukiyaki. I think I ordered a few a la carte dishes, but when I finished eating the udon at the end, I was really full. The sukiyaki here uses raw eggs, unlike the Kansai-style with plenty of soy sauce and sugar. Well, it depends on personal preference. The meat was good, and it was delicious to have proper sukiyaki after a long time. By the way, the a la carte dishes like potato salad and simmered dishes had a homemade taste and were delicious. This time it cost about 7000 yen, but if you have motsunabe, it seems to be around 5000 yen with all-you-can-drink. Next time, I'll come to eat tonkotsu-based motsunabe!

Foodlog 3.04, Hakata Onna at Oe Bridge. I went with a colleague from work. We enjoyed various dishes while watching the Japan Series on TV. It's a restaurant that specializes in motsu (offal). The potato salad and dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) were great snacks to go with our drinks, and the motsu stew went perfectly with the alcohol. We finished off with some fried dumplings. It was a fun place to enjoy some snacks while watching baseball.

A restaurant in Kitashinchi where you can eat Hakata cuisine! The spicy cod roe is also incredibly delicious!! They serve beer in bottles. Personally, even in winter, I prefer hot food so I'm not a fan of hot pot. If a restaurant serves hot pot, please turn on the air conditioning even in winter. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively! Thank you for the meal!

Hakata woman. Turn left from Midosuji and walk a bit up the street. I had motsunabe, which had deliciously chewy and large pieces of motsu. In addition to the hot pot, they also serve turtle stew and homemade Satsuma-age? I tried various local Kyushu dishes and they were all delicious and satisfying. I went with a waiter from Hakata and we had a great time chatting with the female owner of the restaurant. Maybe next time I'll try the Mizutaki.

In the fall when horses are fat, it's the season when hot pot becomes even more delicious. Here, you can enjoy authentic motsunabe from Hakata at a reasonable price. I always choose the pork offal motsunabe. The offal is chewy and delicious. There's plenty of cabbage and leeks. The soup tends to get thick quickly, so I ask for extra broth to be added. There are also various other menu items besides hot pot, giving it a casual izakaya feel. There's a variety of shochu and sake available. The place is always bustling with gentlemen in suits. The female staff are very friendly. I'd like to challenge the Mizutaki hot pot one day.

As expected from a popular restaurant, it was packed. The pork bone-based motsunabe was delicious. The friendly proprietress told us stories about various people, including professional baseball players, who visit the restaurant, making our meal enjoyable.

Girls' night out at Motsubena♥️ You'd be missing out if you don't eat here! It's so delicious!! You can also eat here (*≧▽≦) Yes, I usually don't like chicken and motsu (offal). But I didn't become a hater after trying motsunabe for the first time in my life at this Hakata restaurant!! My friend assured me it would be fine, and it was indeed delicious♥️ I liked it so much that I even added extra motsu! The ramen as the finale was also delicious! Every dish on the menu was tasty. The chicken in the nabe was especially good♥️ Maybe I need to take back my declaration of hating chicken haha. We sat at a table this time, but there is also a counter.
