After 11pm, I felt like having yakiniku. The place is always bustling with customers, which means lots of smoke too haha. It's always lively and nice here. [Ordered Menu] - Negi-tan: consistently delicious, thinly sliced tongue is the best - Baka Aho Kalbi: fatty and reasonably priced, just what I wanted - Seseri: slowly grilled, perfect with drinks - Kyuri: a nice break in between bites - Renkon Butter: extra butter, so tasty! [Impressions] No matter what time you come, there are always a lot of customers. The smell of charcoal lingers on your clothes after the meal. I should avoid wearing my favorite clothes when I come here. They also sell shochu by weight, which is convenient. It's a great place. [Recommended Scenario] When you suddenly crave yakiniku late at night. [Location] Near Sumiyoshi Bridge.

I visited the yakiniku restaurant "Nanairo Yakiniku Bakato Aho". It was relatively empty today, which was nice. First, I toasted with negi (green onion) pork tongue and a draft beer. We also had heart sashimi, wagyu skirt steak, and yam, all of which went well with beer, so we kept drinking. We planned to finish with wagyu curry, but we were too full to make it. I hope to try it next time. Thank you for the meal.

This time, we visited Yakiniku Baka to Aho Haruyoshi branch located at 2-1-10 Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Today's theme is definitely yakiniku!! The restaurant has only counter seats, and the inside is filled with smoke from the charcoal grills, so be careful with your clothes as the smell will stick to them. Let's start with a toast with a glass of draft beer!! We ordered the specialty Negi P Tan for 539 yen for 2 servings. The Tan turned out to be pork instead of beef, with plenty of green onions on top. It is cooked by grilling one side only, then rolling it up with the green onions to steam. I also ordered the Wagyu Sagari for 1100 yen, which is my favorite cut. It has a rich flavor. The lean steak for 1280 yen had a beautiful color and was grilled carefully in front of us until perfectly cooked. It was served sliced on a plate with a pink center. I also tried the Chorogi Salad for 638 yen, Maruchou for 715 yen, and Umin for 715 yen. The offal was fresh and delicious, with the Umin having a nice chewy texture. For dessert, I had a refill of lemon sour. It was a great meal. Thank you.

Tonight, I was considering what to eat, but it was difficult to find a place for one person or make a reservation, so I gave up. However, I was really in the mood for motsu (offal)… not motsu nabe (offal hot pot). As I was looking up motsu, I ended up choosing yakiniku (grilled meat) after all? Well, motsu is motsu, right? So, I visited this place. It was a little past 6 pm, but it was quite empty and I was able to enter without any issues. I ordered a beer first, listened to the staff's explanation, and placed an order for the meat. Even though I was really in the mood for motsu, when I looked at the menu, I saw names of motsu dishes that I had never heard of before… I was a bit lost. There were many unique names for motsu dishes… I ended up ordering kalbi (short ribs) and the specialty negitan (beef tongue with green onions). A shichirin (portable charcoal grill) was set up, and the first dish that came was the negitan. I received instructions on how to grill and eat it, so I started by grilling it. It seemed like I had to grill it properly since it was pork tongue, but it had green onions piled on top, so I couldn't flip it over and just grilled one side while waiting for the right moment. It was surprisingly delicious. Next was the kalbi. The price was in the 500 yen range? I wasn't expecting much, but what? Wagyu beef? This was in the 500 yen range? Also, not just this meat, but is beef cheap in Fukuoka? I thought to myself. Well, this kalbi was quite heavy, and it was the kind of meat that you couldn't eat too much of. I ordered several motsu dishes as the main dishes and also ordered a few types of meat. To be honest, the sirloin was disappointing. All the motsu dishes were delicious. We don't have this kind of seasoning for motsu in Hokkaido. This kind of seasoned horumon (offal) was delicious. I tried various parts of the meat, and in the end, I even got rice and had another serving of kalbi. The older brother who was preparing the meat, judging by the way his left ear was squashed, was he a wrestler? This older brother was very friendly and even escorted me outside the shop with chewing gum and a discount coupon when I left. I will definitely come back! Thank you.

A food place where they don't use any ventilation. They do have one-shot ventilation at every table, but it's not effective at all. If you're concerned about your clothes or hair smelling, be careful. The taste is consistent and there are no bad dishes. They don't use ventilation so much that there was a duct fire. The entrance lantern, which was burnt, was shining brightly. The seating inside the restaurant is quite cramped. It's fun for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere.

The prices and atmosphere are casual and similar to an izakaya. It is popular among young customers. The location I visited was the Haruyoshi branch near Canal City Hakata. It is within walking distance from Tenjin and Nakasu. Across the street from the restaurant, there is a popular Western-style restaurant called "HANAMARU Kitchen" known for its Turkish rice. Other branches include the Sumiyoshi main branch, Ekiminami branch, Ohashi branch, Yakuin branch, and Nishijin branch. The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of counter seats, with only one small table. There are hangers with clothing covers on the wall behind the counter where you can hang your jacket, but be aware that the smell of smoke may stick to your clothes and bags, so casual attire is recommended. I visited with a friend who often hosts wine tasting events, and we toasted with highballs. Placed on the counter was a well-used black shichirin grill. I was surprised by the variety of daily specials in addition to the regular menu. The restaurant's specialty, "Negi P Tan," consisted of pork tongue slices topped with a mountain of green onions. The meat is grilled by yourself, and once cooked, you wrap it in the green onions and dip it in lemon juice for a light and delicious flavor. They offer four types of sauce: original sauce, ponzu and yuzu pepper, natural salt, and lemon. We also tried the upper loin, Baka Aho Kalbi, chicken thigh, and round intestine. The round intestine tends to catch fire easily, so if the flames get too high, you can put ice on it to lower the charcoal temperature. They also serve spicy marinated meat like the Spicy Kalbi. We also had shishamo (smelt fish). It was a delicious meal!

This place is near my house, and I have been here over 100 times. Today, the bill was a bit high because my friend eats a lot, but usually it's around ¥5,000 per person. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great! The specialty negi pitan is amazing!! I enjoyed the carefully selected meat by the owner! The MVP of the day was the red senmai⭐ It's also nice that they are open late! Popular cuts like sagari and hir are quickly sold out, so I recommend arriving early! I will definitely go again!

I went out with my colleagues after work! We were all starving, so we ordered a lot of food and got the all-you-can-drink option too - battle preparation complete!! The place was a bit greasy, but it had old-fashioned charcoal BBQ grills! First, we got a special dish called Negi P-Tan as a service for repeat customers - what a treat! We sprinkled plenty of green onions on it and washed it down with beer - delicious! They also had pickled plum and jellyfish for snacks! The meat was all reasonably priced, especially the Sagari with wasabi soy sauce - amazing! They provided 6 different sauces and salts at the beginning, so you could enjoy it in your own way - a big plus! Personally, I recommend the sauce with grated wasabi ☆ As a fan of makgeolli, I was happy to see it included in the all-you-can-drink option. In addition to the regular menu, they also have daily specials with rare cuts, seasonal vegetables, and creative dishes - always something new to enjoy! The curry, although not always available, is seriously delicious!! Everywhere you go, you'll find meat on the menu ☆ We drank and ate a lot and were completely full, but the bill was surprisingly cheap - I was amazed! Will definitely be coming back!! I love yakiniku so much that I feel like I'm becoming a fool. Even if I eat to my limit, the next day I already want to eat it again! But the name of this restaurant comes from Spanish, where "baka" means cow (fool) and "aho" means garlic (idiot). The biggest charm of this place is being able to eat good quality meat in large quantities at a reasonable price without any pretense. It's a restaurant I love and visit many times. The specialty here is the billowing smoke inside the restaurant! There are even gas masks available. Of course, there are many disadvantages such as the smell sticking to your clothes, or the smoke being so thick that you can't keep your eyes open, but I think this is what makes this popular yakiniku restaurant unique. And it's great that they use charcoal grills instead of gas grills. Gas grills cook evenly and have their own charm, but when you add the charcoal aroma to the fatty meat, it becomes incredibly delicious. I keep ordering more and more! The real specialty here is the pork tongue, "P-tan". Recently, more and more restaurants offer it, but I first tried it here! It's already become a standard dish. By the way, we order one plate per person. We use tongs to slide the meat from the plate onto the grill so that the green onions don't fall off. For first-timers, the staff will show you how to cook it at first! Kalbi, sagari, loin, such marbled meat... When you think about how much the same amount would cost at a high-end yakiniku restaurant, it's terrifying. But here, you can enjoy it at a reasonable price. The meat is tender, and the sweet fat melts in your mouth. The Marunaga rich sauce wraps the fat in just the right amount. But be careful of flare-ups!! Ice for extinguishing fires is promptly served when flames shoot up. Fire extinguished. Thai ice cream, a coconut-flavored tropical-style ice cream. I've only had it here, but I wish they would sell it in convenience stores... Although the smell of smoke may stick to you, this is a great place to fully enjoy charcoal-grilled yakiniku!
