I stayed in Umeda and enjoyed Osaka to the fullest. For the last dinner, I wanted to go to my favorite restaurant, Lawry's in Herbis, but I also wanted to try various other restaurants. Eating at just one place would be a waste. I searched for a nearby restaurant with private rooms where I could eat comfortably and found one with a renewal opening on Eat Log. They had a great deal on all-you-can-drink tickets and the all-you-can-eat and drink course was very affordable, with a 1000 yen discount ticket. The restaurant was open from 4 pm, so I called to confirm if it was okay to come now, and they said it was fine. It was located in a three-story building a little off the main street, with lattice doors that could be securely closed. We toasted with a highball and were served a white fish nanban-zuke appetizer, which was refreshing on a hot day. The beef yukke was delicious, similar to roast beef but with a low-temperature cooked red meat and a tasty sauce to dip in. The seafood salad was luxurious with Thai salmon and crunchy flying fish roe. We also tried a sashimi platter with Thai, yellowtail, and salmon, all fresh and delicious. The grilled mentaiko was a perfect size for beer pairing. We also had some fatty beef tongue, thickly sliced and easy to eat, with a beautiful cut. It was so satisfying that we ended up ordering more. Even though we were already full, the meal was very affordable. We thought about having dessert but decided to save room for other places we could visit.

When I come to Kansai, I always meet up with my friends and have a girls' night out♡ Our conversations never seem to stop during our girls' night out, so I always try to find a restaurant with private rooms. My friend is an expert at getting lost, so I chose a place that is very close to the station and has private rooms, which is why I chose "Kakureya Koshitsu Toride Umeda Branch." When it comes to mamas meeting up, it's great to find a wallet-friendly place. And it's also a big plus that they open early! The appetizers included: - Mozuku vinegar cucumber and tororo (grated yam) small dish! - Seafood salad ¥869 with salmon, sea bream, flying fish roe, and a colorful mix. Seafood salad is a must for girls' night out. - Homemade potato salad ¥539 which was surprisingly generous in portion. When girls get together, they tend to order salads a lot (lol). - Sashimi 5-piece assortment (tuna, amberjack, sea bream, salmon, scallop & flying fish roe) ¥1639 And sashimi is essential♡ The tuna had too many tendons making it hard to chew, but the scallop was thick and delicious♡ - Marbled beef tongue ¥2728 One of the meats we ordered was beef tongue♡ Each dish was very generous in portion, and the 2-hour all-you-can-drink option for ¥1000 made it very cost-effective◎ I ended up with change from ¥4000! It may be a place that took over another restaurant, but the women's restroom was clean. It's on the 3rd floor with no elevator, but it seems quite popular among locals! By the time we left, many rooms were bustling★ Thank you for the meal.

When I went on a business trip to Osaka, I decided to have a quick drink before my flight back. We went to an izakaya in Umeda, which is conveniently located near Umeda Station and just a 4-minute walk from the bus terminal for Itami Airport, which is in front of the Hilton Osaka. I had some time before my flight back to Tokyo, so I could start drinking at 4:00 pm. Reservations are required, but the all-you-can-drink option for 2 hours only costs 1000 yen (food orders are separate). I was surprised that the food was actually good, as I usually expect mediocre food at these types of izakayas. The appetizer was a platter of grilled fish, including salmon, served warm and comforting. The sashimi platter (salmon, amberjack, and sea bream) was beautifully presented with cute leaf-shaped wasabi. The freshly made dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) was fluffy and warm with a rich broth flavor. The deep-fried chicken pieces were also flavorful with a hint of dashi. And the highlight was the wagyu steak for 2480 yen! It was a great selection and definitely worth the price. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. I wasn't sure what to expect at an unknown izakaya in a new city, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I was fortunate enough to visit "Toride," a hidden private room restaurant, for the first time on this day. Located just a 2-minute walk from Nishi-Umeda Station, it has been completely renovated and reopened with all seats in private rooms! This time, I went with the omakase course. Here's what we had: - Seafood Salad: A luxurious salad with plenty of sashimi on top! The dressing paired perfectly with the fresh seafood, and the tobiko added a nice crunchy accent. My friend who came with me was also very satisfied! - Assorted Sashimi: A plate of fresh seafood with five different kinds of sashimi! The scallop and tobiko fusion was outstanding. - Chicken Nanban: A huge piece of chicken thigh! The portion was impressive!! The tartar sauce was generously drizzled over the chicken, making it a perfect dish for hearty appetites. Can I have some white rice, please? - Seared Mentaiko: The Mentaiko was on fire! It was my first time trying seared Mentaiko, and it was a dish that made you want to keep eating. It goes well with alcohol too! The restaurant has a layout where every seat feels like a private room, so you don't have to worry about your surroundings, which is a plus point! It seems to be smoking-friendly, so it's good for those who smoke as well! They offer a variety of courses, making it a great choice for welcome and farewell parties. When I visited, I noticed groups that seemed to be having welcome or farewell parties. It's located a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Umeda's central area, which is nice. Next time I visit, I plan to order a wider variety of dishes. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I used this place for a gathering one day. It was a 4,500 yen all-you-can-eat deal. It was a 2-hour limit with last food order 40 minutes before, and last drink order 30 minutes before. However, the service was really slow... The salad, chicken nanban, and french fries at the beginning were decent. The rest was honestly some of the worst I've ever had in my life... Overall, the gathering was really fun. I'm not usually good at these kinds of events, but I had a good time that day. It was a really enjoyable time that made me think my current position isn't so bad after all.

Reserved a course for my smoking boss at this restaurant. It's a shame they don't have beer for the all-you-can-drink option. The highball was a bit weak. The lemon sour was very weak. The main dish in the course was beef tongue shabu-shabu. The soup was very salty and strong, but it's good for drinking. The food was decently tasty but the portions were small. Last time I ordered a la carte and it ended up being expensive, so I guess this restaurant is better for courses. Thank you for the meal.

This restaurant is located just a short walk from Nishi-Umeda Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line! It's on the 3rd floor of a building right next to a famous gyoza shop, with a sign that says "Romance Club" on the building, so it's easy to spot. You can take the stairs up to the 3rd floor and the interior is all private rooms, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. They open at 4 pm, which is perfect for us lazy lunchtime folks, so we made a reservation and visited right at opening time. - Asahi Super Dry (draft) ¥539 - Appetizer (mozuku vinegar) ¥380 - Seafood salad ¥979 - Assorted sashimi (3 pieces) ¥1089 - Freshly grilled rolled omelette ¥759 - Fried chicken with young chicken ¥869 - Assorted Wagyu beef (3 types) ¥3829 The staff were all very polite and helpful, and we had a great time enjoying our meal in the private room. It was a fun night of drinking and chatting with friends. Thank you to the staff, the restaurant, the delicious food, the private room, and the fun night out!

Draft beer not included, all-you-can-drink on the day costs 1,750 yen per person. If you want to add draft beer, it's an extra 1,000 yen. By the way, a single draft beer costs 680 yen. Expensive. The individual dishes are also surprisingly high. Dashi Maki Tamago costs 690 yen, Gyoza costs 990 yen. Sashimi platter starts from two people. What's that about? The rock-hard Tiramisu costs 690 yen. Half price would be more reasonable for everything. As expected, the bill felt very high when we paid. This place is tough unless you go for the course with all-you-can-drink. Thank you for the meal.

Around 9:00 pm, I visited "Kakureya Koshitsu Toride" with another person. It is located near the back of Hilton Plaza on the south side of Osaka Station, right next to Osaka Metro's Nishi-Umeda Station. The location is a bit hard to find, but there is an area with bars and izakayas on the back side of Hilton Plaza, and this restaurant is on the 3rd floor of one of the buildings there. The atmosphere was lively and bustling with many customers. The menu offers a wide range of dishes from seafood to steak. Here are some examples of the menu items: (Appetizers) - Smoked Duck 860 yen - Homemade Boiled Egg 650 yen - Grilled Dashi Rolled Egg 690 yen - Grilled Ray Fin 790 yen - Simmered Beef Tendon 790 yen (Salads) - Chorogi Salad 790 yen - Seafood Salad 890 yen - Caesar Salad 890 yen - Grilled Wagyu Beef Salad 990 yen (Seafood) - Grilled Salmon Belly 990 yen - Grilled Yellowtail 990 yen - Bonito Tataki 890 yen - Fresh Fish Seafood Yukke 990 yen (Deep-fried) - Fried Chicken 790 yen - Traditional Croquette 590 yen - Nagoya-style Chicken Wings 990 yen - Chicken Nanban 990 yen (Meat dishes) - Stir-fried Beef Tongue and Bean Sprouts 1,990 yen - Marbled Beef Tongue 2,480 yen - Wagyu Steak 2,480 yen - Assorted Wagyu Beef 3,480 yen - Beef Yukke 1,490 yen (Meals) - Wagyu Roast Beef Bowl 1,490 yen [Dishes we tried] - Assorted Sashimi 1,490 yen - Seared Salmon Sushi 660 yen - Caesar Salad 890 yen - Seared Harami (skirt steak) 2,480 yen [Overall Impression] We also received a complimentary appetizer, and the prices are relatively reasonable for the delicious food you get. This restaurant is conveniently located near the station, so I recommend giving it a try. I was invited by a friend to have dinner in Umeda. The specified location was a hidden gem called Toride, located on the 3rd floor of the Romantic Club building in the Nishi-Umeda area. The restaurant only offers private rooms, suitable for 2 people to a large group. Even though it was a weekday, the place was almost full! We opted for a la carte dishes instead of the course with all-you-can-drink option, as some of us were not drinking that day. We toasted with oolong tea and green tea. The appetizers included salmon, squid, and marinated seafood, which surprisingly tasted delicious. We also enjoyed the Cholegi salad, sashimi platter, crispy chicken, marbled beef tongue, and seared salmon sushi. The dishes were reasonably priced and the flavors were excellent. The staff was attentive and made us feel comfortable throughout the meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience at Toride in Umeda.

The dishes we ordered were all delicious! The portion of the hot pot was large, and even though there were two of us, we were full (*°∀°*). We drank a lot of alcohol, but it was a miscalculation that beer was charged separately (т-т). If it had been written in the notes, I would have been willing to pay a little more for that course.

I visited Toride, a hidden private room izakaya in the office district of Nishi-Umeda. It is rare to find an izakaya open on Sundays in the office district. Izakaya is a place where you can enjoy drinks with friends or colleagues after work and have a lively time. The atmosphere and location are important, and this place has a good-looking and cute crowd. Since this restaurant mainly offers private rooms, it is perfect for secret meetings or affairs. Famous people also use the private rooms, so it is recommended. They offer various courses and coupons. Today's menu includes a variety of dishes such as sashimi platter, dashimaki tamago, beef tongue kalbi, steak cubes, wagyu steak, deep-fried cartilage, and ice cream. The private party slots are almost full, so if you want to join, let's have a casual meetup. I will also conduct a survey. For more details about the restaurant, you can visit Toride Umeda's Tabelog page or check out their Instagram. #OsakaGourmet #OsakaDinner #UmedaGourmet #UmedaDinner #Gourmet #GourmetGuy #ConnectWithGourmetLovers #OsakaGourmetLab #InstagramGourmetAward2023 #Izakaya #PrivateRoomIzakaya #OsakaIzakaya. After eating something sweet and craving something salty, I searched for a relaxing place near Umeda. I found a place called "Toride Umeda" with many great coupons on Tabelog. The private room was a nice touch and the staff even lent me a charger when I needed one. The food was delicious, especially the fish nanban zuke and the yukke. They also offer all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink courses, which I think are worth it if you can eat a lot. The quality of the food in the all-you-can-eat menu was really high. The yukke and roast beef were tasty, and the seafood salad was luxurious with fish and salmon. The small tobiko added a nice texture. The menu was extensive and I highly recommend their all-you-can-eat and drink option. I want to go back for more a la carte dishes. It was easy to get in at an early hour, but it seems to get busy later, so reservations are recommended.

After work, we decided to go out for drinks and chose to go to "Toride". The restaurant is easy to find near the station with visible signs. You have to climb stairs up to the 3rd floor of the building. The atmosphere inside was lively when we visited. As for drinks (tax included): - Draft beer (Super Dry) ¥637 - Cassis beer ¥637 - Rich plum wine from the brewery (with soda) ¥529 - Malibu Orange ¥529 I tried Malibu Orange for the first time and was surprised by the sweet coconut base flavor and aroma. It's recommended for those who like sweet drinks and don't like strong alcohol. For food (tax included): - Meat sushi ¥1,290 - Bonito tataki ¥935 - Assorted sashimi (red snapper, salmon, tuna, amberjack, scallop) ¥1,639 - Wagyu steak ¥2,728 - Wagyu beef tartare ¥1,639 - Skin-on potato fries ¥539 - Grilled hokke fish with salt ¥1,045 - Grilled stingray fin ¥869 - Hakata-style mentaiko potato cheese bake ¥979 - Fried chicken nuggets ¥869 - Cold tofu ¥429 - Rare cheesecake ¥649 The Wagyu steak was thick, juicy, and delicious. The Wagyu beef tartare disappeared quickly with the rich egg yolk. The size of the grilled hokke fish was impressive, with fluffy meat. The skin-on potato fries were crispy and went well with beer. It's close to Umeda Station, so I'd like to visit again!

I wanted to talk a lot with a younger girl friend after work in Umeda, so I decided to find a private room izakaya and chose this place. It's located on the 3rd floor of the Romankan Club Building in Nishi Umeda. It's a hidden private room izakaya called Toride Umeda branch. All seats are private rooms, so you can feel safe with social distance. The conversation was lively in the private room! They have a wide variety of sake, but also premium whiskey for highballs, starting with Yamazaki soda mix for 890 yen. The recommended market-fresh sashimi platter with 5 types for 1290 yen is quite voluminous. I recommend the 5 types as they are not much different in price from the 3 types. They were all fresh and delicious, with plenty of scallops, amberjack, tuna, and more, perfect for two people. If you have a large group, it's also perfect for sharing. I wanted something warm, so I had a homemade dashimaki tamago. It had a simple deliciousness as if made at home. The old-fashioned dashimaki tamago costs 590 yen. The meat menu is very abundant, with wagyu steak for 2490 yen. The sauce was sweet and savory, and they cooked it to leave a rare feeling as requested, which was very satisfying. We were quite full by this point, so we had dessert. We shared tiramisu and chocolate ice cream, which were surprisingly delicious and very satisfying. Actually, the first seat was small and dark, but without us saying anything, the staff asked if we wanted to change seats, which was also nice.

Osaka girls' trip ♡ A gourmet trip with a friend (^-^) We had sweets for lunch and of course, we wanted to drink alcohol at night! So, we went to Toride Umeda branch, a hidden private room in the Romantic Club Building 3rd floor. As the name suggests, we spent private time in a private room. They offer a variety of beers from around the world, so we decided to try some. The Guinness Extra Stout I had for the first time was rich but easy to drink and delicious! We ordered the recommended market fresh sashimi 5-piece assortment for ¥1290, and it was a great deal for the volume. They were all fresh and delicious without any fishy smell! The tuna was tender and the sea bream was firm and tasty. It was a satisfying amount for two people, so it's perfect for sharing with a large group as well. The large pork cutlet was surprisingly big and delicious with crispy coating and juicy inside. The wagyu beef was tender and tasty. The menu is rich in both fish and meat options, which is great. We also ordered squid shiokara and seared Hakata mentaiko as snacks. The seared mentaiko had three substantial pieces and was undeniably delicious! It went well with the drinks! The variety of drinks and food on the menu makes it a convenient place for casual drinking or when you want to have a proper meal. It's a great place to dine!

Met up with my former colleagues after 2 years for a girls' night out. Due to COVID, we couldn't get together at all. Everyone seemed to have aged 2 years, haha. We went to a place that offers all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink for the sake of our drinking group. The first place we went to had 80 items for 120 minutes at 3300 yen, with an additional 500 yen on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We were served 4 dishes to start with: salt-based hot pot, Japanese-style salad, edamame, and chicken nanban. We ordered additional items like salmon sashimi, french fries, meat sushi, and ice cream. The french fries and meat sushi were delicious. The restroom was clean but lacked paper towels, so bring your own handkerchief. The place was spacious but allowed smoking, and the semi-private room was a bit noisy with the smell of cigarettes. For the second place, we moved to a cheap bar in the station building. It was a great night out.

Near Umeda Station and Kitashinchi Station, there is a izakaya where you can enjoy both fish and meat dishes. It is located on the 3rd floor of a building with many delicious-looking restaurants. Despite being in a competitive izakaya area, I was surprised to see the place full of customers. Here are the dishes I ordered that day: 1. Fish nanban (appetizer) 2. Seared wagyu beef salad 3. Assorted sashimi (5 kinds) 4. Salmon and avocado tartare 5. Assorted wagyu beef (3 kinds) 6. Large pork cutlet 7. Fried silk tofu 8. Deep-fried young chicken 9. Luxurious tiramisu 10. Special ice cream parfait Personally, I really enjoyed the fried dishes here. The chicken karaage and pork cutlet had a perfect seasoning and crispiness, and the chicken was juicy. The large pork cutlet was very filling. The ice cream parfait dessert was surprisingly huge, with vanilla, chocolate, and matcha ice cream topped with tiramisu. It was a sweet treat for dessert lovers. They also offer a wide variety of drinks, including beers from around the world like Hoegaarden White from Belgium, Warsteiner from Germany, and Coedo Premium Ruri from Japan, as well as sake and highballs. If you're looking to drink in Kitashinchi or Umeda, be sure to check this place out!

On Sunday, I unexpectedly had a meal and then had to return to Tokyo. I found this place in the Kitashinchi area that opens at 4 pm on Sundays. I was surprised to see a long line of people waiting before the opening at 4 pm, realizing how popular this place is. When I saw the address of this restaurant that was sent for our meeting, it said "Romance Club Building." I thought it was a funny building name, but the exterior really exuded romance, making me laugh. I took a photo of the exterior just in case. I climbed the stairs to the 3rd floor. As the name suggests, it seems like all rooms are private. However, the doors have lattice patterns. They offered a great selection of Japanese sake, including Dassai, Tokubetsu Junmai, Kidoizumi, and Kyuhei. I had Dassai for the first time in a while. The appetizer was warm fish nanban-zuke, which was a pleasant surprise in a izakaya setting. The chicken skin with ponzu sauce served first was also warm and delicious. The seafood carpaccio was a good value menu item. The assorted wagyu beef had a generous portion. It seemed like aged meat, but it had no strong taste and was full of umami. I was happy that it wasn't too fatty, considering how full I was. While this izakaya is on the higher end, I think the drinks are a great deal compared to dining at a traditional Japanese restaurant. It's a hidden gem for sake lovers.

A few minutes' walk from Osaka Station, I easily found my way following Google Maps directions. You have to climb stairs to reach the 3rd floor of the building. Once you go straight ahead, you enter a cozy Japanese-style hideaway with a view of greenery from the window. Since the rooms are all private, I was seated in a room right after entering. Although I didn't see anyone, I could hear voices, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. I looked at the menu and made my choices - there were plenty of options including meat and fish dishes. I called the staff using a button to place my order. For drinks, I chose a ginger ale and oolong tea as there was no non-alcoholic beer available. The appetizer was a sweet and savory white fish dish. I ordered seven items: - Seared wagyu beef salad for 990 yen, which had a delicious dressing and crunchy vegetables. - A sashimi platter with five types of fish for 1290 yen, fresh and plentiful. - Seared beef yukhoe with egg on top for 1490 yen, rich and creamy. - Salmon and avocado tartare for 790 yen, recommended for avocado lovers. I enjoyed it with crackers. - Assorted wagyu beef for 2990 yen, a popular meat dish with various sauces and condiments. For dessert, I tried the special ice cream parfait for 690 yen, which was huge and had three flavors of ice cream - chocolate, matcha, and vanilla, along with tiramisu. Even though I was already full, I managed to finish it. The menu didn't have pictures, so the dessert was a surprise. I also tried the luxurious tiramisu cake for 690 yen, which was twice the size of a regular cake. Despite being an izakaya, the dishes were authentic and flavorful with generous portions. I may have ordered too much, as the servings were quite large. I recommend this place for a gathering with close friends, family, or a girls' night out.

I went to a restaurant in Umeda, Osaka, that was recommended by a friend. We ordered: - Tofu with plenty of condiments for 421 yen - Sesame soy sauce seafood salad for 961 yen (salmon, sea bream, yellowtail, flying fish roe) - Salmon and avocado tartare for 853 yen - Assorted wagyu beef for 3,229 yen (tongue, roast beef, lean meat) - Assorted sashimi for 1,393 yen (salmon, yellowtail, sea bream, tuna, red shrimp) - Sakura yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare) for 1,393 yen - Nagoya-style fried chicken wings for 853 yen - Draft beer for 637 yen per glass The restaurant seemed to be popular with group reservations, and it was constantly busy. They also offered all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink courses, making it convenient for customers. The atmosphere was cozy with private room-like seating, making it easy to chat with friends. My friend recommended the all-you-can-eat chicken hot pot, which I found intriguing. It's a great place to enjoy with a large group of people.
