The interior has counter seats, table seats, and sunken kotatsu table seats. The most popular lunch menu seems to be the "Chef's Choice Set Meal for 990 yen", but I tried the limited 15 servings of the "Hamburger Set Meal". The hamburger that was served was a perfectly round hamburger served on a hot iron plate. First, I took a bite and tasted it - delicious! This hamburger is really delicious. The cross-section is a sexy pink color with some red left, which is just right. With the special sauce with a hint of acidity poured over it, eating it with rice is a nice marriage of flavors. If the rice was a bit tastier, it would have been perfect. Next time, I'll try the most popular lunch! Thank you for the meal.

The exterior is on the first floor of a mixed-use building, with counter seats, table seats, and sunken kotatsu table seats inside. During lunchtime, it was quite crowded. The most popular lunch menu is the "Chef's Choice Set Meal for 990 yen," which is highly praised for its cost performance. However, today I was drawn to the limited 15 servings of the "Hamburger Steak Set Meal"! Made with 100% domestic A5 wagyu beef! I decided to go for the upsized 250g portion for 1100 yen. After a short wait, a perfectly round hamburger steak with special sauce was served on a sizzling iron plate. The visual and size exceeded my expectations, and I was excited. When I cut into it and looked at the cross-section, it was cooked to perfection with a pink hue showing some rareness. The flavorful special sauce with a hint of acidity complemented the hamburger steak beautifully! I would like to try it with just salt next time to see how it tastes on its own. However, the rice was not very tasty. If they upgrade the rice to freshly cooked delicious rice, it could become the best cost-performance lunch in this area. I visited the restaurant "Yakiniku Kyouhou" in Maizuru for lunch recently. Although I have many favorite restaurants in this area, it was my first time visiting Kyouhou. The interior of the restaurant is very clean, with counter seats, table seats, and even sunken kotatsu seats. While I was tempted by the yakiniku menu, I decided to try the hamburger steak set this time. Unfortunately, the regular size was already sold out by the time I arrived, so I ordered the plus size 250g for 1100 yen. A large, round hamburger steak was served, smothered in delicious sauce. The juicy hamburger and flavorful sauce were amazing, typical of a yakiniku restaurant. Although I thought 250g might be too much, it was so delicious that I finished it in no time. I am curious about the yakiniku menu as well, so I definitely want to visit again.

I was surprised that I could have a lunch of wagyu beef yakiniku for 990 yen! It's a great deal. There are vegetables, soup, and salad, and they don't look cheap. In other words, they don't skimp on anything. The meat is good, so I liked the rock salt more than the sauce. It's not surprising that the restaurant is full right after noon. I also bought a kalbi bento for 800 yen on my way out, and the meat in it was also good quality, like for sukiyaki. I will definitely come back!

For lunch today, I strolled around Akasaka and decided to try this place! There are many restaurants in this area, and I've been curious about many of them... Today, I felt like having some meat, so I decided to visit this place for the first time! The interior of the restaurant has 4 counter seats, 6 tables, and 6 tatami tables. The counter seats are perfect for 1-2 people, so you can use them without any hesitation! I looked at the menu and decided to order the following, as a treat: - Ding Feng set meal (1,980 yen) A set meal named after the restaurant, with loin, kalbi, and lean meat! It's appealing to be able to compare different types of meat... After waiting for about 10 minutes, the meat arrived at my table! The meat looks impressive with plenty of marbling... I can't even tell which one is the loin, kalbi, or lean meat...! The left end is a thick steak cut with a lot of fat and juiciness! Even though it's thick, it's tender! Personally, I like the salt seasoning that goes well with it... The middle part is cleaner in taste compared to the other three types! However, it still has enough marbling to melt in your mouth... It goes really well with the miso sauce due to its clean taste! Is this the loin or lean meat...? The lean meat is confusing... The right end has the best balance among the three types of meat! It has a good balance of meat flavor and marbling... This one goes well with the classic yakiniku sauce! A delicious dish! I couldn't tell if it was kalbi or lean meat... I was completely lost! Thanks to the ample marbling, I was full... The rice and soup are free for refills, and the soup was so good that I had three bowls! I ended my meal with a mango ice cream dessert to relax... Solo Yakiniku & Beer. Maizuru "Kōhō" Tried to have lunch at the yakiniku restaurant "Kōhō" in Maizuru several times, but it was always full, so I had to give up. It feels like there are fewer restaurants in this area compared to the number of office workers. Lunch was like this, starting with a beer. Many people were ordering the chef's special set for 990 yen, which comes with salad. It includes soy sauce, salt, and miso dipping sauces, but I wish there were more traditional options. The meat had good marbling and was lightly grilled on a roaster, served on top of rice. The fat was very refined, although I personally prefer a bit more lean meat. I wanted to visit a nearby bistro, but it was fully booked, so I looked at the lunch information of this place nearby and decided to go in. The restaurant has counter seats, raised seating, and table seats in a spacious interior. They offer several lunch menu options, but I chose the "Chef's Choice Kalbi Set (990 yen)". It comes with salad, rice, and soup, and you can have seconds of rice and soup. The meat looked beautiful and delicious when it arrived, and it was tender with a good amount of marbling, not too rich, and had a nice sweetness when chewed. The salad, soup (regular wakame soup), and rice were average in quality. As mentioned before, you can have seconds of rice and soup, and it would be nice if it came with kimchi. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meat at this price point. The sauces provided were miso, salt, and soy sauce-based. I enjoyed my meal and left satisfied.

I tried a yakiniku restaurant in this area that I hadn't explored yet. As someone who had never tried solo yakiniku before, I wasn't afraid to enter a yakiniku restaurant alone for omurice. Surprisingly, there were also solo female diners, so I sat at the counter and ordered the omurice. They kindly gave me a smaller portion when I asked. Soon, salad and soup arrived. As a working person on a lunch break, it's quite nice to have things served in the order you can eat them... And then the omurice arrived. It was beautiful! The shining orange fat-infused ragout sauce, the smooth egg without any wrinkles, and the meat reigning supreme at the peak with perfect balance! The egg was not fluffy, but rather had a firm texture, with a thick layer and a fluffy consistency. The ketchup rice inside had plenty of mushrooms and onions, giving it a satisfying chewiness. And while the egg wasn't runny, the meat was! If I had this at a fancy restaurant, it would cost around 2,000 yen... This was a seriously delicious omurice. Thank you for the meal!

The meat here is truly delicious without any exaggeration. I was struggling to find a good lunch spot and ended up here, wishing I had known about this place sooner. The A5 Saga beef with marbling was so good that both my mother, who is almost 60, and I devoured it. We were surprised by the great quality of the meat and the cost performance. When we asked the staff about the meat, they told us that the owner's goal is for everyone to enjoy delicious meat, so they prioritize quality over profit.

Around 11:40 on a festival day, my friend and I happened to pass by this restaurant. From the opposite side of the street, it had a nice atmosphere, and the lunch menu posted by the entrance surprisingly had reasonable prices. Despite the upscale appearance of the restaurant, we decided to give it a try based on the menu prices. As soon as we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised. The interior had four 4-person tables in the front, and raised seating and counter seating in the back. We were the only customers at the time, so we sat at one of the tables. I ordered the Chef's Choice Kalbi Set for 900 yen (excluding tax), while my wife ordered the Ding Feng Omu Rice for 900 yen (excluding tax). Both dishes came with salad and wakame soup. The set meal also included free refills of soup and rice. Shortly after ordering, the salad was brought to our table. Within a few minutes, our dishes arrived - the kalbi set with various cuts of meat, rice, and soup. The meat looked like it was of A5 grade with plenty of marbling, causing it to quickly sizzle on the grill. There were three types of sauces provided - tare, salt, and miso tare, with the miso tare being particularly delicious. After a short wait, my wife's Omu Rice was served. The omelette was generously topped with meat and demiglace sauce, and inside the tomato-flavored rice were plenty of beef pieces. It was a meticulously prepared and truly delicious Omu Rice. We paid in cash as credit card usage was only available for bills over 5,000 yen.

The yakiniku was delicious. However, they changed it so that you can only get one extra serving of rice and soup, which was very disappointing. I paid 100 yen for an extra serving of rice only. Furthermore, there was no salad available.

Returned for revenge. Had 2 and a half bowls of rice, and 2 bowls of soup. The 990 yen chef's choice lunch. But I feel like the meat was better last time. Maybe they aim for Saturdays?

First visit and hit the jackpot with the yakiniku lunch set for 990 yen, including salad, soup, and rice. The meat was tender and delicious, especially the marbled kalbi. Didn't know you could get free refills on rice and soup, so I'll definitely come back next week for another round.

Fukuoka Prefecture is under a state of emergency. I aimed to visit an Italian restaurant that was open for limited hours from 12 o'clock, but it was closed. So, I changed my plan and visited "Yakiniku Teiho" nearby. I saw a signboard in front of the restaurant that said, "Extra portion of Kalbi set meal available!" (laughs) I arrived at 12:10. Inside the restaurant, there were a few tables for 4 people in the front and counter seats in the back. Even though I was dining alone, the staff kindly said, "You can also use the table," so I sat at a table. I ordered the "Kalbi set meal (990 yen, tax included)." It came with rice, soup, and salad. First, they served the soup and salad. The timing of the soup was a bit early, but I found a small note under the menu saying, "Free refills for rice and soup." I enjoyed the simple yet delicious seaweed and green onion soup. I decided to get a refill! (laughs) The smokeless roaster on the table was lit, and soon the meat, grilled vegetables (onion, eggplant, bell pepper), and rice were brought to me. The meat had a lot of fat compared to the menu photo. When I put the meat on the grill, the fat caught fire immediately! It was like I was grilling offal! The flames rose quickly, and the meat was cooked in no time. I enjoyed it with a light soy sauce-based sauce, salt, and miso sauce. The miso sauce went well with the meat, but with so much fat, the salt was the best match. High-quality fat is delicious, but there was just too much fat for me. The combination of rice and meat is great, but how about rice and fat? In the end, I didn't get a rice refill. The meaning of "omakase" (chef's choice) is deep. Thank you for the meal. P.S. After finishing my meal, I passed by the Italian restaurant again, and this time it was open. Well, that's how it goes. (laughs)

I had lemon steak and a regular yakiniku set meal. The lemon steak had various types of meat, some were tender and some were tough, and because they were soaked in lemon sauce, it was hard to distinguish the flavor of the meat. The yakiniku set meal had several types of meat and was delicious. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a set meal that only includes tender meat.
