During the recent pandemic, this place became quite famous. It's my first visit here and this time I decided to dine in.
[Ordered Menu]
- Beef tongue: 780 yen
Thinly sliced beef tongue with a decent amount, quite delicious.
- Wagyu beef belly: 1,180 yen
The way it's sliced is amazing, the meat looks beautiful and tastes great. Boosted my rice consumption.
- Unzen ham (1/2 piece): 580 yen
This price is too good to be true. Everyone loves Unzen ham, and being able to eat this much is a win. Dip it in mayonnaise and you're a champion.
- Chicken tenderloin: 200 yen
It's really good, with about four large pieces of tenderloin, nicely grilled and delicious.
- Kimchi: 198 yen
The balance of umami, spiciness, and acidity is perfect. It goes well with rice.
- Large rice: Ended up getting a refill
The rice was just the right hardness, I like it a bit firm.
- Drink bar: Alcohol is around 1,000 yen for 1 hour, non-alcoholic is about 500 yen. It's self-serve, so it's nice to be able to make your own drinks.
[Impressions]
This place is a hit. The prices are reasonable, and ordering is self-serve, so you can easily enjoy your meal. I'd like to try BBQ on the outdoor terrace next time.

I wanted to eat yakiniku that day, so I decided to go to "Tanaka Seinikuten". Tanaka Seinikuten is known for its bento boxes, but you can also eat yakiniku there! You first pay for a one-hour all-you-can-drink option as a seating fee. Drinks are self-service.
- Domestic skirt meat
- Beef tongue
- Chicken tender
- Wagyu beef triangle belly
- Unzen ham
- Kimchi
- Rice
- Seating fee
In conclusion, we ate so quickly that the one-hour all-you-can-drink option was more than enough (laughs). We ordered through a tablet. Since it is directly operated by a butcher shop, we were able to eat meat at a reasonable price. And it was delicious! The number of seats is limited, so reservations are probably necessary. By the way, it seems that terrace seats outside can be used for groups of four or more. Thank you for the meal!

The changes from last time include the alcohol all-you-can-drink price increasing from ¥780 to ¥980. There is also a seating fee during your stay. For 2 hours, it would be ¥1,078 per person x 2h = ¥2,156. If you choose soft drinks, it would be ¥550 x 2 = ¥1,100. Previously, you used to select and order meat from the showcase in the store, but now there is a QR code at your table which you can scan to place your order. This has made it more convenient. The meat and sauce were both very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I bought some meat here and had a BBQ, it was amazing, so this time I decided to dine in. The food was decently good, but I couldn't help but feel that it was not as good as when I cooked it myself over charcoal last time. If it tasted like it did over charcoal, then the price would be considered cheap, but eating it over gas makes it feel about 10% cheaper in my opinion. The thick-cut beef tongue, is it not domestically produced? But it was delicious without any unpleasant smell! I don't think charcoal is always better, but I feel like the meat here goes well with charcoal. It was interesting that you could drink alcohol like in a drink bar style. Since they close at 9 pm, it ended up being an early dinner. I would like to visit again. If it was over charcoal and a bit later, I would give it 4 stars. Thank you for the meal.

The bento boxes sold at the butcher shop are known for their surprising volume and hearty contents, all at a unique price point. They have become so popular that there are often long lines. I decided to buy the steak bento (1000 yen) and the yakiniku bento (880 yen) after a long time. Both were filled with plenty of food, including kimchi, pickles, and potato salad. However, I was surprised to find that the prices had gone up quite a bit since my last visit a few years ago (the steak bento was 680 yen back then). Despite the price increase, the satisfaction level remains high. My son and I exchanged half of our bentos to create our own deluxe bento. It was my first time trying the yakiniku bento, and it was so delicious that I finished it in no time!

I enjoyed yakiniku on the terrace seats on the second floor. On weekdays (Mon-Thu), it's only 680 yen for 1 hour of all-you-can-drink alcohol. Surprisingly affordable pricing, even though it's self-service. We stayed for 2 hours since the restaurant closes at 9 pm. The food ordering system is through scanning a QR code with a mobile phone. The meat prices are also great. We had beef tongue, lean meat, and hormone, and we were very satisfied. It's perfect for gatherings with family or close friends. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The restaurant opens at 10:00, but you can make a reservation by phone from 9:00. When I called, they said they couldn't reserve the beef tongue bowl and the pickup time would be after 11:30. I decided to go there around 10:00 and when I entered, I was given card number one, so it seemed like I was the first in line. I ordered the Steak Bowl (L) for 1280 yen and the Beef Tongue Bowl for 680 yen. The meat was tender and delicious, with a good amount of volume. It seemed like they were preparing a lot of Trio Bowls (grilled meat, steak, beef tongue) for reservations in the kitchen.

You can get an idea of my impression by looking at the scores of each item. For more gourmet information, please check out my Instagram account @fukuokagourmet_walker. I mainly explore delicious and carefully selected restaurants in Fukuoka and various places across the country. Quality is more important than quantity, but I visit around 500 restaurants a year. Prices include tax and the shop offers eat-in, take-out, and you can even buy yakiniku meat.

This popular butcher shop featured on TV always has long lines, but on this particular day, there was no one waiting. I tried the yakiniku bowl for 600 yen, and it was so heavy with 200g of rice and 300g of grilled meat. It was sweet and savory, with plenty of meat, kimchi, potato salad, and namul for a satisfying meal. The deli items in the showcase also caught my eye, so I went back another day to try the yakiniku bowl again, along with sand liver confit, vinegar motsu, and pickles. The deli items start at 190 yen and are all reasonably priced. I enjoyed it all with a highball at home, but I ended up feeling so full and heavy. When I weighed myself after eating, I had gained almost 2 kilograms!

I saw it at Momochi Hama Store and went there right away! The store inside and outside was very crowded... and the side dishes and salads among the meat looked very delicious. I ordered the steak bowl. The cost performance is amazing!!! I will go again when I crave meat.

I noticed a meat shop that has been around for a long time had a unique and beautiful new look, and it was even renovated to have a long line of customers. I used to pass by this shop once a week, but I didn't realize the change. I bought their famous bento once after hearing about it on the news. It was indeed hearty. My family also wanted to try it, so I entrusted them with the shopping. When I went around noon, there was a line of 10 people, showing how popular it was. I requested a "yakiniku bento" since I had already tried the steak bento before, but they ended up getting me the magnificent "steak bento". My family got the Deluxe bento with extra rice for 1000 yen. This menu didn't exist before. The steak bento is covered with plenty of tender red meat in the bento box, just like before, very hearty. It comes with potato salad and one okra. The Deluxe bento features both steak and yakiniku, with kimchi as a bonus. It's a meat lover's dream, very satisfying and hearty. They currently don't offer dine-in options, but I would love to enjoy their yakiniku inside the shop if I get the chance.

While I was out shopping, I thought I would buy a bento box if this place was empty, but there were no waiting customers, so I bought a yakiniku bowl for 500 yen. The smell of garlic was strong even on the way home, haha. When I got home and opened the lid, I saw a generous serving of yakiniku, potato salad, and kimchi. It looks like something a young boy would be thrilled about. Let's dig in. The yakiniku had a spicy and sweet flavor with a strong garlic taste. The meat was thinly sliced and tender. It was packed with meat! The rice was tightly packed at the bottom. A satisfying meal. Overall, I prefer the yakiniku bowl over the steak bowl. However, if you have this for lunch, you might only need pickles and wine for dinner. It might be a bit oily. Yakiniku bento, beware!

Deluxe bento for ¥1000 was delicious with a generous portion. I thought there wasn't much meat at first, but was pleasantly surprised by the amount of meat stacked inside. I went there right after it opened and there were around 10 people in line. The packaging was stylish. I want to eat it again! ✨

There used to be a traditional butcher shop, but before I knew it, it had transformed into a unique and beautiful establishment, with a surprising line forming outside. I used to pass by this shop once a week for my lessons, but I didn't even realize it had been renovated at the end of November last year. It must have been an overnight transformation. And now, with the long line forming, I was intrigued. It turns out that their takeout bento boxes are really popular. You can also dine in at the store, which is also a hit. So, I decided to visit. There are two entrances, and when you enter through the butcher shop side, you can buy meat by weight as usual, but there are also various side dishes like kimchi and potato salad on display. I ordered the most popular item, the steak bowl (680 yen), with an additional side of kimchi for 180 yen, and received a numbered ticket before moving to the other entrance. You can take a shortcut from inside the store to the other entrance. Here, I received my order and made the payment. When I opened the lid at home, I found thick slices of steak covering the rice. The large cuts and generous portion were impressive. The original Japanese sauce paired perfectly with the steak! The side dishes included potato salad and grilled vegetables. There was plenty of delicious meat! The high cost-performance ratio makes me want to come back for more right away.

This restaurant, which has been featured in the media and has seen a significant increase in customers, is a place I also frequent. My go-to order is their takeout steak bowl. Not only is the taste great, but the portion size and cost performance are also excellent. It never fails to meet my expectations. When I first saw it, I couldn't help but laugh a little. I think this restaurant would be well-received if they expanded their locations in Fukuoka. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for the meal.

The place seems to be primarily a butcher shop, but you can also buy meat and grill it on the second floor. There is also an all-you-can-drink option available, which sounds fun! At lunchtime, there is a mysterious line where everyone seems to be buying bento boxes. When I visited in the evening, there was no line, so I ordered the following for takeout: ・Tanaka Mori (assorted meats) 100g x 2 for 300 yen each ・Grilled beef tongue with sansho pepper for 290 yen. I had a home BBQ on the balcony for dinner. The Tanaka Mori had a variety of cuts and was already seasoned, but it was a bit light so having sauce on hand would be a good idea. If you can, I recommend getting the sauce from Tomura in Miyazaki, Kyushu. When I was in Tokyo, I used to order it and pay for shipping. Since the Tanaka Mori has smaller cuts, it might be good to stir-fry them with vegetables and put them over rice! The grilled beef tongue was tender and based on the oil floating in the broth, I had a feeling it would be good, and it was! It had a nice spiciness and was delicious considering the price. It went well with a crispy soda. There were also various snacks and sauces available besides meat! The staff were also wonderful, and I would definitely like to visit again! Next time, I might try the delicious-looking beef tongue or try to get a bento box for lunch! Yum yum~

I found out about this bento on Instagram and it seems to have been covered by various media outlets. I visited around 11 am on a weekday, but there was a line in front of the store. I ordered the steak bento for 680 yen without a reservation. They said it would take about 30 minutes, so I finished some shopping nearby before going. By the way, even those who had made reservations in advance were lined up. When I got home, I tried the bento. On top of the rice, there was lettuce, a little bell pepper, and sliced steak. There was also potato salad. The steak was covered in a soy sauce-based sauce with plenty of onions. I liked the sauce. It had a refreshing lemon flavor, so the aftertaste was also refreshing. The meat had a bit of gristle, but for this price, it was acceptable. I still felt satisfied after eating, like "I had a good amount of meat." It seems that there are big fluctuations in the crowd. The staff mentioned that it might be quicker to come without a reservation during less busy times than with a reservation. On the day I visited, around 11:20, it was very crowded, and the inside of the store was bustling. But by 11:45, when I went to pick up my bento, there was no one waiting in line. They said they would continue selling bentos even after the state of emergency is lifted.

A butcher shop located about a 5-minute walk from Rokumoncho Station towards Ohori Park. Originally just a meat shop, but it was renovated in November 2020 to offer bento boxes and eat-in options. Since being featured on a TV show, it has become very popular. It's common to wait for about 60 minutes for a bento box during lunchtime on weekends. Even with reservations, it seems difficult to receive orders on time. I ordered the steak bowl and grilled meat bowl, which are the two main dishes according to the sign. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to be ready. The steak bowl had two large pieces of steak, not sure if it's wagyu but it was tender and tasty. The grilled meat bowl had a generous amount of sweet and savory meat, almost 10 times more than a regular beef bowl. However, the meat was a bit dry and the rice portion seemed small in comparison. If you want quality meat, go for the steak bowl. If you want quantity, go for the grilled meat bowl. Personally, I would stick to the steak bowl for future visits.

I saw a very interesting restaurant introduced on "Mentai Wide" and decided to visit two days after watching the broadcast on January 7th. It opened on November 29, 2020, and the interior is very clean. As I went in the evening, some popular items were already sold out. (I wanted to try the beef tongue, so I've already promised myself to revisit. lol) Here is what we ordered: - Tanaka Mori (approx. 200g) 614 yen - Wagyu Upper Kalbi (4 pieces) 359 yen - Pork Belly (approx. 100g) 199 yen - Pork Frank (1 piece) 133 yen - Domestic Harami Sagari (4 pieces) 891 yen - Free drink x 2 1,560 yen - Rice set 300 yen You can specify the number of pieces for each item. We ordered 4 pieces each of "Wagyu Upper Kalbi" and "Domestic Harami Sagari," and 1 piece of "Pork Frank." The Pork Frank was cut in half for us. First, we tried the "Domestic Harami Sagari." It was so delicious that I wanted to go for seconds right away. All the meats were tender and had a fresh texture that was irresistible. Both types of barbecue sauce went well with the meat. The beer was great, but white rice also went well with the meal. The "Tanaka Mori" allowed us to enjoy various cuts of meat. We couldn't figure out the total bill during the meal, but when we saw it, we were surprised! It was around 4,000 yen for two people. It's too good of a deal, is it even possible? I'm also interested in the "Yakiniku Don" and "Steak Don." If this restaurant was nearby, I would probably visit once a week. It's such an attractive place.

It feels like a meat shop with an eating area attached. The meat is incredibly delicious! The beef tongue is thick and tender, super tasty. The kalbi and ichibo were also delicious! The kimchi (¥190) was tasty and excellent. Plus, all-you-can-drink is only ¥780 for 90 minutes! A great deal! It's self-service, so the prices are low! I was happy to see a beer tap! I was prepared for it to smell bad, as I read in other reviews, but it was even smellier than I imagined. There is only one exhaust fan besides the entrance door, and no windows, so the smell tends to linger. I recommend coming with friends you get along with and wearing washable clothes (like sweats). The staff are all very good at customer service!
