Today, I visited this restaurant when I went to see a friend who lives nearby. It was a weekday night, so the restaurant was quite empty. It seemed like there was only one person running the place, so it took quite a while from ordering to getting the food, which was a bit concerning. The kushikatsu, as the name suggests, was quite salty for my taste, I wish it had a bit more sweetness. The No. 1 potato salad, on the other hand, was exceptionally delicious. The richly seasoned potato salad with crispy fried onions and a generous amount of Caesar dressing had a great combination of flavors. The beef tendon skewers were tasty, but I might not order them again. In total, we ordered about 15 skewers, 4 drinks, 2 potato salads, beef tendon skewers, and fried mochi, and it came to around 6000 yen. It was a decent value for the money. Thank you for the meal.

When I went on a trip to Osaka, I visited Daruma for dinner. It was a weekday night, so we were able to enter without waiting! Feeling tired from walking and thirsty, we started with a toast with a glass of draft beer! I wanted to try various types of kushikatsu, so I ordered the Shinsekai Set! It comes with 15 types of kushikatsu and a speed menu item, so it's a good deal! While waiting for our order, we enjoyed some cabbage and more beer! When the kushikatsu arrived, we savored each one carefully, being mindful of double-dipping. The flavors were delicious! I recommend the pork katsu! There are so many varieties, I definitely want to go back again!

I went to the second restaurant, and I ate quite a lot at the first one. This place is a little further from the previous one. The atmosphere inside is cozy and homey. The menu was typical, with a variety of set menus in addition to individual items. I ordered the "5 kinds of seafood set" and the "5 kinds of cheese set," along with some other individual items. The batter was light and crispy, and the sauces were not too heavy. The cheese set included a combination of cheese and various ingredients. The skewers were quite filling. The staff's smiles were lovely, and their service was very friendly. Thank you for the meal!
