I happened to come across this coin parking lot and decided to visit with little information available. I had the char siu ramen and fried rice. The taste was nostalgic and comforting, perfect for someone like me in middle age. When I asked the owner, I found out that the shop has been around for 60 years. Amazing! I felt that they will continue to be loved by the people in the neighborhood. It was a delicious lunch. Thank you for the meal.

A Chinese restaurant located in a slightly hard-to-find spot in a residential area. It's across from a public bath (Yamato Onsen), so that can be a good landmark to look out for. This time, I revisited to have some gyoza and a drink. Ordered: - Bottle of beer (500 yen) - Gyoza (300 yen) - Miso ramen (650 yen) The gyoza was the same style with sauce poured over it (sweat). I like gyoza, but I can't quite get used to this style (bitter smile). Finished with miso ramen. The soup had a slight spicy kick to it. The ingredients were well sautéed including bean sprouts, onions, carrots, shimeji mushrooms, ground meat, and seaweed (the seaweed wasn't sautéed). The crispy char on the ingredients was fragrant and delicious. The straight thin noodles were slightly chewy. If they were medium thick and curly, they would have been even better. As I thought about that, thanks for the meal.

Located in a residential area, this Chinese restaurant is a bit hard to find. It's across from a public bath (Yamato Onsen), so you can use that as a landmark to locate it. The restaurant has a traditional feel, indicating that it has been around for a long time. It seems to be run by a husband and wife team.
Ordered:
- Fried Rice (600 yen)
- Gyoza (300 yen)
Thoughts:
- The fried rice is moist and simple, made with onions, leeks, eggs, and has a slightly salty yet rich taste. The accompanying seaweed soup is also light and flavorful.
- The gyoza comes with a generous amount of sauce, which may be a bit overwhelming. The filling is soft and has a hint of garlic and chive flavor, while the skin is chewy and satisfying.
The menu is extensive, so it might be nice to enjoy a meal here with a bottle of Ruby beer during the day. They also offer sets with rice and noodles. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I don't remember exactly how I got there, but it was difficult to find. I ordered the sweet and sour pork set meal - delicious! The yakisoba was also delicious! Simply delicious. Everything was delicious. I want to come back with a large group next time. The run-down appearance of the restaurant has the opposite effect - it's hard to believe I'm the only customer. It seems like they do a lot of deliveries. If there was a restaurant like this nearby, I would definitely go without hesitation. It may be the ultimate pinnacle of old-school Chinese cuisine in the downtown area!
